Name: Grace Salvia Laurie MD
Age: 27
Birthday: January 6th
Gender: Female
Category: Teachers/Staff (Hospital Physician)
Class: N/A
Appearance Description: A rather slim figure standing about 5'6" tall, Grace is fair with short auburn brown hair and eyes of blue. Frail-looking at first glace, you'd expect her to be someone you could push once and she would roll over dead when in fact she's actually quite healthy.
Personality Description: Grace is an Enigma; an enigma wherein she is the kind of person one cannot exactly predict — mostly because she was never one to open up to anyone completely and is a very private person. This, however, doesn't seem to stop her from her everyday obsession with learning and reading; you'd be likely to find her reading just about anything just about anywhere — and at times, she may snoop in on things just because they were remotely interesting.
... or maybe "befriend" people because of certain quirks she finds amusing.
That said, it's difficult to be close friends with Grace to a point that she would form an attachment, that is mostly because of the fact that she has no long-term memory to form memories of people with. Once she falls asleep, she tends to forget 80-95% of the events that occur prior to sleep.
Due to the nature of her memory, she has become insanely meticulous in keeping a diary close of which she actually updates at least once every couple of hours. Each entry is extremely detailed as possible, often containing her thoughts at the time when the events happened.
Powers:
Adomopathy - An Adomopath is an Alpha who can replicate movement after observation. In Grace's case, besides kinesthetic memory, she is also gifted with Audal and Visual short-term memory that allows her to recall information she recieves with inhuman accuracy. The downfall, is that she cannot retain information for more than a couple of days at most. The more valuable that information is to her though, the less likely it is to disappear upon waking up from sleep.
But in general, she is unable to remember events, people, facts and places without the assistance of her diary.
Biography: Grace grew up as a happy, normal child with amazingly loving and supportive parents. Back then, everything was a dream. A lot of who Grace was was shaped by these events; but one day as she approached the age of 14, something happened — she began to forget with increasing frequency and severity.
Doctors could not figure out what was wrong with her. Test after test, Grace spent most of her teenage life inside the hospital walls even though she was a functional human being. It came to the point that she forgot who her parents were, and even her name.
A lot of the memories she had about her life slipped away.
A Nurse, who happened to have grown fond of the kid, gifted her a diary book. Ever since then, she and the Diary book had become inseperable. She began writing an incredibly detailed autobiography of her life — and in turn realizing her unusual ability to remember recent events with utmost detail. While she was horrible with remembering anything over the long-term, her short-term memory was amazing enough to support her efforts in writing her life down.
Encouraged by her experience with Doctors and Nurses, she became a Doctor herself and was eventually offered to become a consultant physician at a place she's never heard of: Starlight Academy.
