She stands at a height of 5'5", usually wearing a red coat. Her skin is black with purple spots, streaks and cracks, which may look like eyes when they start glowing with white lines and circles. The glowing patches of purple is where she was injured just before she died, save for where her eyes were. Though they seem to widen and narrow along, she can only see through the ones on her head. Her left arm and her right leg bleed regularly as well, which is why she usually wears the bandages there.
Personality Description: Red isn't a very nice person. She acts nice however, but is very prone to getting violent. Her transformation, aside from making her violent, made her very confrontational, sadistic and masochistic, though she learned to tone it down around other people thanks to the therapy she got and coming to terms of who she was. Though she does come off more bitchy and plastic-faced in her attempt to be more civil.
She's a good cook however, and self-sufficient, having been living in a boarding house to attend school. She likes to dress up in cosplay, but she is bound to her red coat, much to her dismay. She is very handy when it comes to making clothes, costumes and props, it being a source of income for her when she was still alive.
Active Abilities:
Shadow Melding — As cliche as it is, she and whatever she is holding can become one with the shadows temporarily, allowing her to move at sprinting speed from point to point so long as the shadows are connected. She will feel exhaustion, but only half as much compared to if she sprinted the same distance physically. She can bring anything nonsentient as long as she can carry it. When it comes to sentient creatures, they'll either need to be willing to come with her, or if they're resisting, she'll need to constrain them until her tendrils can manage to wrap around them, which can take anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds, during that time they can still break free.
Spawn Chick — Once every few days, she can vomit/cough out a chick with pure black feathers. This chick only lives for a few days, and disappears when and before it dies. She can make other people vomit/cough out the chick, so long as she is within 10 meters from them.
Passive Abilities:
Morphing — Not as glamorous or controlled as shapeshifting, her body distorts in response to her mood. If she feels distressed or angry, her body would spawn tendrils that can lash out. Her hair is actually a collection of these tendrils, and would flare up if she feels aggressive emotions, and deflate if she is sad or disheartened. Because of this, she really can't hide her emotions. Sometimes these tendrils will come together and allow purple spots to appear on them, sometimes with white lines and circles that make them look like her eyes, or just random shapes.
Weaknesses:
Bound — The red coat is a part of her. While she can pull it up, roll up the sleeves, and even take it off, her skin would latch on to it. She would die if she was ever separated from it. Some form of magic also lets the coat mend itself over time, but only to the condition it already was in when she was first bound to it.

Biography: Red was a pretty Filipino girl from Central Visayas, who was reviewing for her nurse's license. During her college days, she was one of the top achievers, not the cream of the crop, but she was threatening their positions. She shied away from taking the spotlight, as most over-achievers were very territorial of their rank, and she didn't want to make enemies. It worked for the most part as she didn't make any enemies from the top students, and in fact she was in good standings with them.
She was part of an anime fanclub, and often offered to make some costumes for her friends there since she picked up the skills from her mother who worked as a tailor. It gave her a steady income besides the money her family sent her.
One day, she and a few friends attended a cosplay party, but at the end of it, she walked home alone. This usually wasn't a problem as there was always a lot of people out, so she felt safe going on her own. But that night was different. Thanks to an accident the night before, her usual route was blocked off, and she had already been waiting for an hour for a taxi. So she decided to go another way.
She hadn't noticed that she was being followed, and when she reached a dimly lit area, that's when she got grabbed by a group and dragged off, kicking and screaming. She was only found a few days later, when a homeless man saw her red coat under some garbage. When he pulled it out, the whole pile shifted, and her hand, still gripping the sleeve, was exposed.
The police identified her, and packed her up. A few more days later, there were stories of an apparition loitering around the area, crying over the cross the locals left. It was a sort of tradition to put crosses and flowers where someone died, whether it was an accident or a murder.
Eventually, news of a girl in a red hooded coat walking down that dim road surfaced. It was the start of another urban legend. People claimed to see the girl there. The story went that it was the girl's spirit, either restless, or patrolling to protect anyone who walked that road at night.
The stories however got more grim, as the body of a young man was found in that road, horribly beaten and mangled. Those who heard the screams ran to see a figure in a red hooded coat and the man's body floating off the ground in front of her. The hooded figure snapped her gaze towards the onlookers and, as the reports said, she just disappeared.
The sightings of the figure spread throughout the city, and bodies started to appear. A survivor reported that the hooded figure attacked him when he was alone. She had a knife and let him run, laughing as she chased him. Luckily a car had pulled around the corner and in a panic, he jumped to the light. When the driver got out, he and the man had a confrontation. Though footage of the event did pop up online from the dash cam. It showed the survivor running, and looking at the footage, it revealed that he wasn't lying. There was a hooded figure with a knife chasing him, but it disappeared right before the car's light got to it.
People started calling the figure "Red Lady", a variation of the common apparition, the "White Lady", which is the spirit of a dead woman, usually seen dressed in all white. Some called her the "Red Raincoat Lady", because it looked like she wore a red raincoat. Of course, the authorities treated this as gang violence, but could never find a link.
Eventually the scouts from Manta Carlos intervened, and after a few unsuccessful attempts at capturing Red, they finally cornered and captured her, taking her to the island and throwing her into the correctional facility, where she continuously raged inside her room until she eventually calmed down from the insanity she was subjected to when she turned into the murderous spirit she was.
After a few years of therapy, she was released.
