Human Form: In human form Lebeda has knee-length golden blond hair and pale green eyes. A heart-shaped face and smooth, clear skin. She is slim of build and stands 5'3" tall. Her hands and feet are dainty and she moves with a dancer's grace. She wears white robes most of the time and always wears her swan-feather cloak.
Hybrid Form: In hybrid form, Lebeda's appearance is similar to that of her human form with the following exceptions. She gains the large, pure white wings of a swan. Black markings similar to a Swan's appears around her eyes. Her nails grow sharper and her feet become similar to swan feet with long sharp talons.
Swan Form: A pure white swan with a golden mark upon the top of her head.
Personality Description:
Lebeda is friendly and social, taking joy in connecting with people and the conversations they share. She is just as comfortable spending time alone as she is in a room full of people. Emotionally motivated, she sees life and others through empathy and compassion. Lebeda seeks deeper meanings and what motivates the people around her.
Though Lebeda can navigate emotional matters with ease, the practicalities of day to day living escapes her. She has no practical life skills and is often frustrated by this. She is easily stressed when lost to details and strict schedules and prone to overthinking.
Active Abilities:
Swan-Feather Cloak
A long, white cloak adorned from top to bottom with perfect swan feathers, each tipped in pure gold. This cloak allows Lebeda to transform between woman and swan and in between. This cloak is apart of her, and she can locate it mentally no matter how far or beyond it goes. Additionally, because the cloak is apart of her, it is just as divine as she and therefore indestructible.
Transformation
This is the power to help those who seek her be who they desire to be. To transform them from their current state to their desired one. Lebeda does not grant instant transformation. Her transformations require time and a cost. She can grant a person a better personality, but only after they complete a trial equal to the change they want. She could help someone gain more or new powers, but they may have to give up something in return. The end result is what the person wants to be, the ideal version of themselves.
This transformation, once complete, will last their entire life. Except, should the person anger Lebeda, then she may take back her gift and the person will revert to their previous self.
Moonlight Purification
Lebeda can purify any freshwater body of water that has moonlight shinning upon it. This purification removes poison, disease, filth and curses. She can purify people as well if they bathe in a lake under moonlight.
Passive Abilities:
Immortal
Lebeda is a goddess and cannot be killed or destroyed. She can be harmed or injured, but she will regenerate from injuries at 10x the rate of a normal human.
Swan Goddess
Lebeda has domain over swans, swan maidens and lakes. She understands all avian species, but may only command swans. Swan maidens are under her protection and should they call out for her, Lebeda must go to their aid. Those cursed with a swan form may seek her to break the curse, and those who wish to become a swan maiden may be granted such.
Weaknesses:
Swan-Feather Cloak
Should someone take hold of her cloak and refuse to give it back, they will have control of her. By withholding her cloak they can make her perform any action they desire, and control her use of her divine powers.
Gold Chain
Lebeda, when secured by a gold chain, will be unable to use her divine powers until the chain is removed.
Biography: Lebeda was once a changeling. A fae child (daughter of a swan maiden and a mortal man) who was switched with a human child at birth. Within a few years it was obvious to the family that Lebeda was different. She looked nothing like her "parents" and possessed an unnatural grace. Her family was scared of her, and scared of whatever curse may be brought upon them if they did not raise her right.
Her family's fear ran so deep they couldn't bear to look at her or talk to her. When Lebeda turned ten years old she was sent away to girl's ballet school. The school housed girls from all around the region and offered education and instruction in dance to raise the next generation of prima ballerinas. Though the school held an image of prestige and honor, it cared only for producing the best ballerinas.
Lebeda and the others girls were pushed to put dance practice before all else. Classes were often shortened to allow more dance instruction. Lebeda, who proved to be a talented dancer, was pushed to the point of exhaustion. Each night she prayed for escape. To become a swan so she may fly away. Each night she prayed and left offerings of flowers and sweets for any fae who might be close enough to hear her pleas.
Then, upon her eighteenth birthday, Lebeda's prayers were answered. While leaving an offering to the swans at a nearby lake, a divinely beautiful woman appeared before her. The woman introduced herself as the Swan Goddess and said that Lebeda was destined from birth to be her successor. She offered Lebeda her feathered cloak and when she accepted divine power rushed through her. She placed the cloak upon her shoulders, transformed into a swan and left the school behind.
During the next two years, Lebeda focused on learning her divine role, until she was found by the scouts and brought to Manta Carlos It was a strange shift, but not an unwelcome one. She feels that she could do good on the island.
