Cara is only about 2 inches tall with a small, semi-slender frame with a small chest. She has a fair skin tone without a single blemish. She has red bird-like wings that she uses to fly around. Her long red hair is often weaved to make it shorter, but she is also seen wearing them in other ways such as the humble ponytail. Her fae dress is magical in the way that it mends itself when damaged, and it is easy to clean, never stains for long. It's almost like it's alive in a way. The bead on her chest is worn as a necklace and has powers of its own. This is her most prized possession.
Personality Description: Cara is a shy loner type who find it much easier to be around other fae, nature spirits, or animals that wouldn't normally want to have her for breakfast. In her low moments, she often breaks her normal demeanor and seek out anyone who could provide comfort for her. Despite her tendency to go out on her own, she is rather sympathetic. She is not a big fan of violence, nor is she a fan of harsh words. She always tries to keep herself happy, and helps out as much as she can, but she takes nearly anything personally. She is emotional to the point of being offended when insulted, or break down when she is suffering a verbal beating. She doesn't have a thick skin. Lying is something she is horrible with. When push comes to shove, she will fight back and take a beating, especially if it means protecting someone she cares dearly for. While she avoids confrontations as much as she can, she will not stand by and let bad things happen to people and things she cares about.
As with most fae, Cara holds honor in high regard and aims to hold true to whatever she promises and expects the same from anyone else promising her something. Because of that, she often says she makes no promises, but she often treats things as if they were.
In comparison to the fae of the Underhill, her court is friendlier and more compassionate compared to them, however they still have reservations when inviting those who are not one of them into their home. A single fae's approval often means close to nothing since their home is considered sacred.
The fae of this court are also closely bound together, and as such, any crime committed against their kin is dealt with harshly, especially if it were done by one of their own.

Biography: Cara is a fae that goes through cycles of rebirth. When she dies, her spirit returns to nature, to be reborn during winter when most deadly predators slumber. She was not originally like this, nor was she even originally from Manta Carlos or even from this universe. She was summoned here by accident when a mage, out of panic, casted his spell wrong.
Cara was soon taken in by another, a scholar who found her wandering the forests of Manta Carlos. Through the scholar, she learned of the ways of the island, its language and culture. She had often wondered what else was beyond, but never felt the need to leave or to return home.
During a day in winter she contracted a disease that proved fatal for her. She revealed that when her kind dies, they return to what they referred to as "The Great Cycle" where when one dies, they return to nature, and no matter where the would be, the would return home. Not wanting to return, she pleaded for the scholar to find a way so she could stay in this world. The scholar enchanted a small bead that allowed the fae's energy to reside in it. When she passed, her body disappeared and her essence transfered to the bead, diverted from the cycle. The bead was then buried in a flower pot. When winter came, a red flower sprouted. When it bloomed, it revealed that Cara was slumbering inside. She awoke to find the scholar again, but found that most of her memories didn't return to her.
Baffled, the scholar attempted to trace why that was, and found that some of her essence escaped. A little later, her kind found her and thought that she had been captured. There were some of her kind that were powerful, and nearly took the scholar's life, but Cara had saved him, at the cost of being fatally injured. She convinced her kin that she wanted to stay in this world on her own volition, and an elder helped her have her wish, by adding her own enchantment to the bead.
Now her bead acted as an extension to the great cycle. It allowed her to return to wherever the bead resided, or if she chooses, to return home. When her wounds took their toll, she once again had her essence reside in the bead. But since her bead was created in the winter season, it drew from the power of winter spirits. Without them, she couldn't return. This was the scholar's flaw, that he failed to realize. He only found out when Cara didn't return, yet her essence was there, so she couldn't have returned home.
He waited until the seasons changed to winter, and sure enough she was reborn. Unfortunately, the scholar wasn't like the fae. There was no great cycle for him, at least not one like Cara's kin. But he reassured her that he will return one day. But this did little to ease her grief when he finally passed. This was the first time Cara lost someone like this. With her kind, she could feel their essence flowing within the cycle. With the scholar, she felt nothing, and this dismayed her.
Falling deeper into sadness, she used her own magic to seal herself away into the bead, returning to the cycle where she slowly came to terms on the fact that her dear friend was lost forever. She was eased by those connected by the cycle, and she eventually returned to her kind. But recently she felt like visiting Manta Carlos after innumerable years, and so used her connection with the bead to once again visit. But who knows where the bead ended up now?

The fae of this court are also closely bound together, and as such, any crime committed against their kin is dealt with harshly, especially if it were done by one of their own.
Species Abilities:
- Frost-Touched — This particular Fae has been aligned with the chilling winter. She has the power to form and control ice and water to a degree, but they are more effective when it has been solidified. They can manipulate water to freeze and thaw, however freezing is always faster than thawing. Naturally, when the winter season has passed, their powers weaken. Being Frost-Touched, they are more comfortable in frigid environments and feel uneasy in warm climates.
- Flight — With the use of their wings, the Fae can fly.
- The Great Cycle — When the Fae die, their bodies disappear and their essence returns to the plane they refer to as The Great Cycle, where their spirits return to nature to recover. They are then reborn in their court when their season arrives.
- Ageless — They do not die from old age, and once they've reached maturity, they often stay that way unless their bodies fail and they return to the great cycle.
- Bound by Honor — A Fae's honor means everything to them, and they will do everything in their power to uphold it, even though it would leave a bitter taste in their mouths. However their measure of honor is up to the individual Fae to decide, and should they be faced with a choice that will tarnish their honor no matter what, they often choose the one that does the least damage. This also means that they cannot outright lie, but they are allowed to muddle what they say with half-truths.
- Size Sometimes Matters — When proportions are sized up, the Fae are just as strong as the average human, however since this court is merely a few inches tall, they would hardly be able to cause any physical damage to a human, let alone get anywhere near as strong in their usual size.
- Changing Seasons — Their powers strengthen and weaken depending on the season. For a Frost-Touched Fae, they are strongest in winter, weakest in summer, and somewhere in between in the middle seasons.
Powers:
- Enchanted Bead — A special bead that has been enchanted by a scholar from Manta Carlos and an elder from Cara's court. It allows Cara to voluntarily return her essence to the great cycle and back, however her bead will remain where it is. This bead is also capable of housing her essence should she pass away, and sprouts into a red flower that cradles Cara's revitalized body during the winter season. However, sprouting from the bead into a flower only works in the winter season, but if graced with the power of winter, it is possible to make it sprout the flower, however it will require a huge amount of the relevant magic to do so, or a personification of winter itself.
A thing to note about this bead is that if she isn't 'killed' she can return to her court using the bead to send her essence to the great cycle and be reborn in her court whenever she likes. However she cannot return to where her bead is if it is not her season.
