Tomo got some flashbacks from the ball last fall, when she stepped into the big hall and looked around. It was the same amounts of fancy if not fancier, and though the mood and decorations were different Tomo thought that all fancy balls were basically the same anyway.
Though this time Tomo was dressed differently and was herself with no masks and disguises. She was wearing a tuxedo, or more like a pantsuit, that had been custom made for her. It was really fancy, with golden embroidery and other small golden details, that went together with Tomo's eyes. Jesus, Rafael hadn't had to go this far for this...

Tomo straightened her tie as she stepped in, her usually free and messy hair was swiped back with hair gel and there was even some makeup on Tomo, for God's sake. Overall she didn't feel like herself, but suppose that couldn't be helped. Had to look proper and all that.
Tadashi had entered before Tomo, and she quickly scanned te crowd for him. Tomo saw pink princess, Kon and...ugh, Aedes. Just like Tadashi earlier Tomo turned the other way from those three, and saw her brother up ahead. Seeing him all dolled up was still kind of funny, and Tomo walked over with a small smile on her face.
"Feeling uncomfortable yet?"
Tomo asked as she got behind Tadashi, and leaned on his shoulder. Now the two of them could stand out together, almost identical siblings in similar suits to boot.

Nat had just finished taking a small sip from her glass as she was approached. She quickly looked the vampire up and down, noting the ball gown that she wore. It was certainly a well-made looking dress, but it definitely had an older style, much like their surroundings. From that, Nat could make a confident deduction of who she was talking to.

“Yes, I certainly have,” Nat replied, returning her smile. “I take it you’re our host for the evening? I suppose I have you to thank for that then.”

She extended a hand towards her.

“I’m Natalie Kurono, and you must be Natasha Lockwood.”

Nat had done some research before coming out tonight, so she was at least aware of the head of the Sanguine Society. It was good to be able to put a face to the name.

"Yes indeed, I am your host for the evening and the founder of the MCSS," Natasha told her warmly, her words lightly accented by a Russian accent, as she also flashed a warm smile and a nod in greeting to a few couples that walked past them.

"And it's a pleasure, Ms. Kurono," Natasha said, returning back to the conversation as she extended a black satin gloved hand to shake hers. "Forgive me my rudeness," she said as she greeted Natalie now properly, her attention fully on the reporter. "It can be difficult juggling hellos and making sure everyone is attended to at such an event" she confessed, though not in the least worried. She was used to lavish affairs such as this one.

"You have placed your name in tonight's raffle, I hope?" she enquired politely.

"Wouldn't that be fun?!" Enthusiastic giggles ensued as Aisha thought about the cheer squad appearing. The mermaid tightly hugged the catboy for several moments before pulling away. "Finally I totally get to wear one of my fabulous dresses! Isn't this gorgeous?" She posed proudly like she was on the front of a prom magazine. Her radiant sharp teeth completing the look. "Speaking of, I see you decided on a fun little alteration, Kon. And Aedes, you...." Her eyes scanned the outfit. "...where did you get that?" It was not at all in a mean tone; if anything, she seemed quite interested in the cosplay dress.

Konpeitō grimaced at the way Aedes spoke about him. "I didn't come here to be a meal. And if I did, I'd prefer someone older."

Then he focused his attention on Aisha, agreeing on the beauty of her dress. It was certainly more extravagant than what he was wearing. He had plenty of dresses to wear, but he decided to go with one of the few suits he had. Wearing his dresses in public still made him feel uncomfortable.

"Oh, you know how I am about changing things up," he quipped. The way Aisha posed her question to Aedes made Kon worry it would be taken an insult. Looks like he needed to try harder to keep the mood bright. "I wanted to fit the theme. Didn't want to do anything too crazy. I already got my hair for that."

"Alright, if that is what you claim." spoke up Aedes, letting Kon off the hook with a dismissive shrug. With Aisha now here, everyone was naturally more preoccupied with her.

"Why yes, you look quite splendid in that outfit." complimented Aedes, if a little bit begrudgingly. Her little pun absolutely intended. When Aisha looked over her outfit, instead of praise she was instead questioned on where she got it. For brief moment Aedes had worried Aisha thought it just a cheap dress but when it seemed that she was just curious Aedes was quick to answer.

"Oh! Just piece I got from a local tailor. I would tell you who but... their name escapes me at the moment." nonchalantly fibbed Aedes, not wanting to give any hint it been a second hand cosplay outfit found off the internet as a bargain.

"It looks pretty! Looks like an Asian tailor made it." Aisha wasn't good with cultures yet. She wished to add another dress to her wardrobe, but she needed money for that. All the while, her phrasing went over her head. She turned her attention to both once again. "I like heard people wear masks for this sort of thing. So like, what gives?" She tilted her head and giggled, wondering if she overdressed a little. Her eyes scanned about in search of the dance floor. Her hand reached out to take one of the drinks from a passing waiter. It was simply juice, nothing alcoholic or bloody. She sipped it lightly.

Kon's fear didn't come true. The two girls chatted about Aedes' dress with no problems. Though Aisha's comment about how it looked like an Asian tailor made it didn't sit well with him for reasons he couldn't articulate. His smile turned confused for a split second, then he shook his head lightly, deciding to ignore it.

Not wanting to be left out, he also decided to comment. The dress didn't look like the other dresses at the ball, and Kon had his suspicions it wasn't made for an event like this. But pointing out something like that would have been in poor taste. "I think it looks good on you, but I'm not surprised. You have a good eye for fashion."

Then Kon let out a chuckle at Aisha's confusion. "This isn't a masquerade ball. It's just a normal fancy ball. But don't worry! Now you stand out even more amongst the crowd. Appropriate for a princess, don't you think?"

"Errr..." Aedes had to look herself over, trying to figure out how the hell she came to that conclusion. While it was likely made in Asian, its style clearly European in style. Maybe Aisha was just fixated on that extra flair of when another culture copies another's fashion? However Aisha's thinking was, she just looks up and smiles to her. "Well yes, of course."

Her head then turns to Kon as they as well complimented how good they looked. Whether it was genuine flattery or just playing nice, it was sort praise that Aedes lived for.

"Why thanks for noticing~ Maybe I can even you out pick out some clothes for you for the next gala. Not that you look... terrible or anything. In fact your already quite stylish as you are but there is always room for improvement." spoke Aedes with that hint of superiority.

It was a bit amusing that Aisha came here thinking it was just like masquerade. Not that a such a mask would be out of place in setting such as this.

"Your quite right Konpeito. Though if your to ask me why would anyone want to hide such a wonderful face behind a mask. Unless of course they have reason to hide in public venue."

Dressed in an expensively tailored dark midnight blue tuxedo, with his granddaughter, Zoraida, who was dressed in a matching low cut evening gown with teardrop diamond earrings, on his elbow, Rafael Del Bosque looked around the ballroom intently as if looking for someone, or something.

"The triplets are going to be fine, don't worry, relax," Zoraida remarked in a tone that was soothing yet somewhat amused as she caught the concerned look in her grandfather eyes as he scanned the ballroom when they had entered a good ten or so minutes after Tomo, Shiro and Tadashi.

"I am relaxed, my dear granddaughter," Rafael answered stiffly, purposefully ignoring Zoraida.

"Sure you are," Zoraida smiled knowingly, not fooled by his attitude, as she waved to Natasha who was engaged in conversation with another lady. "You are cool as a cucumber," she joked as she helped herself to a glass of champagne from one of the waiters walking by with a tray.
