A Night of Bewitchment - The First MCSS Fundraising Ball

Tomo didn't really care about her actions, as long as she more or less looked fancy and like she belonged in this setting. But even with all the fancy clothes it probably didn't look proper to be gorging on some shrimps. But Tadashi was following in suit, so seriously, who cared?
"I'm in Mystique, I can at least dance some boring ballroom dances. But if you'd prefer breakdance I'm up to it."
Tomo said after swallowing, and tried to discreetly use her sharp nails to dig a piece of shrimp from between her teeth.

Arrive at the party 30 minutes after the assigned starting time, dressed accordingly in formal burgundy pantsuit that adorned curves but didn't over-define them, greet the hostess, greet people of importance, greet back anyone who greets you even if you do not know them. All the points in Roselyn's initial plan were almost fulfilled. She had greeted Natasha Lockwood, had gone around greeting anyone else she recognized as important or useful, and nodded and waved occasionally as someone greeted her. Appear graceful, appear composed, appear like you belong. Perfect.

Next on the line were the Del Bosques, that Roselyn had heard were attending. Of course they were, they were a big benefactor for this new association and acquaintances to Natasha Lockwood. Zoralda Del Bosque and Natasha Lockwood were friends, or so Roselyn had heard, and she also knew many other facts about the two and their lives. Enough to have an advantage in case there was an incident.

Roselyn could already hear many people in this ball talking about her, and she blocked the voices from entering her head. She scanned the crowd, and could see Zoralda Del Bosque along with her grandfather Rafael Del Bosque. The two were just going their separate ways. Zoralda was Roselyn's main objective at the moment, and thus she followed after the woman, keeping her steps even and not hurried. And just as the woman arrived to the table with the drinks Roselyn caught up.
"Good evening, Ms. Del Bosque."
Roselyn greeted, and pretended that she had merely come for drinks too and took a glass in hand. Don't appear too eager, be nonchalant but not too much so you do not appear disinterested.
"This is a very lovely event, Ms. Lockwood outdid herself."

"Whaaaat? I was being all sneaky about it."
Tomo hissed back when Tadashi gave her a napkin and some toothpicks. She took them, of course, and pretended to dap the corners of her mouth all fancy like while glancing towards Rafael. And holding back laughter, of course. The toothpicks she saved for a later date in case she got her hands on some chicken.

Tomo indeed turned to look, and saw Shiro and her dress. It was weird to saw her outside goth style clothes, but suppose it was refreshing. Tomo grinned and waved her hand towards Shiro, trying to send triplet vibes towards her sister to try and make her look their way.

"It only feels formal if you let it get into your head."
Tomo answered Shiro with a shrug and a small grin. She wrapped an arm loosely around Shiro's shoulders as well, making sure she didn't mess up whatever Shiro had done with her hair.
"You look great. But you know what would look even greater on you?"
Tomo smirked a bit, and pointed briefly at a lady nearby with a ridiculously poofy pink dress that basically had its own orbit.

"Well, aren't we all fancy?"
Tomo said with a small clap of her hands as the three were finally gathered. Even with all her modifications Shiro still looked liked Tomo and Tadashi's sister, and there was a kind of harmony with two white haired tuxedos and one dark haired dress.
"We should try that thing where we all three dance together awkwardly in a circle."
