Build: Petite and a little on the skinny side, doesn't look well fed but she seems to have good bone build to make up for the lack of fat in her little body.
Notable Features: She looks like every other kid on the street but she always seems to have some scratches on her face covered in adhesive bandages. She looks completely harmless and when she grins, she has a missing tooth. Her little fingers are each wrapped in thin cloth, probably due to cuts. She's really tiny — good for crawling into spaces adults can't get to. Perfect for thieving.

No one really knows the kid around Haven being a rather fresh face. Addie doesn't appear to be with anyone, which is very strange considering she looks too young to be on her own. She seems the optimistic one though, despite the setting. Whenever asked, she says she came to the settlement with her older sister who was busy with things at the moment. What people don't know about this kid is that she's a thief — part of a still unidentified group of bandits. Despite being only 12, Addie is rather adept at her job at both stealing and going undercover.

Her team is comprised of her friends Adrien (22yo) and Stella (17yo) both of whom she met when she was 10--two years after the raid that separated her from her family. The two other figures have been spotted around Haven but never together.

Adrien and Stella have been part of the group for longer than Addie has. Raised in poverty in the badlands, both were forced to fend for themselves at early ages. Stella started stealing when she was 8. Adrien later recruits her and be her partner when she was 11 after they met. Adrien on the other hand, is actually a high profile criminal, wanted for multiple accounts of murder, assault, and various other crimes--the reason why he doesn't reveal himself to the public. He's good at hiding though, and having two unseeming accomplices makes it easier for him to move around.

Profession: Design Engineering, mostly of fabrics.

Build: Due to not fighting much (she leans on her brother to protect her) she is thin but weak. She'd still rather use words in place of combat.
Notable Features: Slight burn mark under her right thumb, birthmark on knee (shape of a C)

What would other characters know about you?
Lee is first and foremost known for her sense of style. Most of her clothes are showy (like her personality tends to be), but they do have their upsides - if you can find her the materials, she will try to construct something akin to an armor fashion show. She is also known for her very appearance-forward perspective, and will risk everything for a piece of makeup she can use, whether it be lipstick in payment for supplies or a palette of eyeshadows for a flashy but warm dress. The makeup helps to hide the fact that even though she looks flamboyant on the outside, her fear of never being able to keep her brother always terrifies her. And it shows.
As an aside, she is lesser-known as the "Pyro's Sister", referring to Torch, the fire expert. Lee will readily gossip at length about each aspect of her past, except for before the cave-in and the escape from the Fire Eaters, as she understands that being a former member of their group would cause much trouble for her brother and her. Finally, she is known for her benevolent nature - wanting to help, and choosing the most peaceful method of dealing with problems.

Profession: lone traveler

Notable Features:
The thing people would notice about Wess is that he's always hunkered down with multiple packs and weaponry. He rarely speaks and when he does, it's muffled and scratchy due to rarely talking. He very much comes off as someone who will kill or loot you on sight, with a distant personality and a determination to stay far away from people.

What would other characters know about you?

In the town of Haven, Wess is rarely seen, but when he does come by, he tends to hand out food or extra supplies to those in need without a word and only a nod of appreciation to any thank yous uttered his way. If any offerings are given to him in turn, he will gladly accept them.

Outside of Haven, Wess is quick to point his gun or weapon at someone and scavenge their pack. Generally speaking, he tends to give them more than he takes, making a kind of forced trade. Whenever he does this, he orders the person not to turn around and look at him or lower their hands from their raised surrendered position.

He is exceptionally stealthy, which has earned him the nickname of "Haven's Phantom" or "Phantom" for short.

Name: Shay Nicholas

Profession: Smuggler/Scavenger, Haven scout, and information broker

Height: 5'4"
Build: Lean
Notable Features:
Shay is rather short and tends to wear gloves, and fitted leather to protect herself. She's quick-witted and agile, faster than most people think she would be and with a silent step. She has the tendency to sneak up on people accidentally.

Due to her lack of physical prowess, Shay's approach is all stealth and no guns, but if someone were to get close enough to attack her, the spikes she has on her gloves might do the trick to back them off.

What would other characters know about you?

First and foremost, Shay is pretty much always in the presence of her partner, Theo. The two have formed a strong bond, and if you pick a fight with one of them, you pick a fight with both of them.

Beyond that, Shay is known for getting information and being particularly nosey. If you want to know about someone in Haven, you go to her, for a price.

A silent step and a decent shot with the bow, Shay isn't a front line fighter by any means, but she knows all the secret routes into and out of Haven. She's great at sticking out of earshot and sight, making her a valuable member of the community.

When not gathering information to broker, Shay tends to scout the boundary of town for possible traders or threats.

Name: Elizabeth (Liz) Follett

Profession: Assassin

Height: 5 foot 7
Build: Mostly slim build that's due more to exercise than lack of food but still fairly muscular.
Notable Features: Is generally wearing a lot of dark clothing. Covers the bottom of her face with a scarf and often wears a beanie style hat to cover the top so only her eyes are visible. She has bright red hair that is almost startling against her dark clothing.

What would other characters know about you?
Liz has become a notorious assassin that allies herself with the fire-eaters. Her nickname was gained from the fact the only colour she sports is her hair; nobody knows her real name and few have seen her full face.
She shows absolutely no emotion and lacks any empathy for those who think they can just restart society exactly as it was before.
Liz is still incredibly smart and has a good memory, using both things to her advantage to be cold, calculating and easily one of the most efficient killers around.

This Liz is fairly similar to how she was when she first arrived at the island but more extreme. I like to think that this is how she could have ended up had she chosen a different path.
She does have emotion here (mostly due to the lack of powers) but never shows any, choosing to ignore any guilt she would feel by the firm belief that the people she are killing are stupid and inferior.
Liz was still bullied as a child but it was much worse, her father was dead and her mother an alcoholic and it is a mixture of all of these things that fuelled her intense hate for society. When it seemed as if the world was ending she embraced it, chose to become cold as steel and get her revenge on the people she felt deserved it. She taught herself how to fight with various weapons she stole and started off killing animals for her own survival before moving on to other people, strictly those who had wronged her in the past.
Now, she has moved past that as she strongly believes that this 'new society' will be just as bad and inefficient as the last and so puts herself out for hire as an assassin for the fire-eaters, giving her both money to survive in reasonable luxury compared to most and to have an excuse to kill some of the ridiculous people believing they can just start over. Liz takes great pride in her work always ensuring its a clean kill and that she isn't recognised or caught by anybody. Whilst not working with them directly, she admires the fire-eaters disregard for society (like hers) and so tends to avoid killing them.


She only wears the scarf and hat to cover her face when in the fire eater camp as these are the only people that would recognise her hair and know she's the famous assassin (and also the only ones that really know/use her nickname) and so she wouldn't want them to know her identity. She looks fairly normal when in Haven as she is good enough at what she does to never have been seen by anyone there.

Name: Theodore Hudson

Profession: Smuggler/Scavenger, Haven scout, and information broker

Build: Athletic
Notable Features: Theo is almost never seen without his older brother's personal effects on him, most notably the long coat he wears. He's not as stealthy as his partner and is much better in direct combat, which allows Shay to pick off enemies while Theo has them distracted. He carries a pair of pistols, two tactical kukri machetes, a stun baton, and ocasionally a sniper rifle.
What would other characters know about you? He's almost never seen without his partner Shay somewhere nearby as the two have an extensive history and tight bond. He has a habit of mumbling to someone or something at times and gets written off as crazy as a result. Anyone who knows him however knows he's perceptive to a scary degree. He's also a dead shot with the vast majority of firearms.

Profession: General goods and bartender on side.
Height: 5ft 6 inches, she's finally tall.
Build: Skinny
Notable Features: White hair, red eyes.
What would other characters know about you? Agatha is a bit shy, but is usually calm and good to talk with and have a laugh. She likes listening to others and giving her thoughts, while maybe also trying to sell a shirt or two she made herself. Her parents were killed around 4ish years beforehand and she doesn't bring that up at all. Her left leg is a prosthetic leg from the knee down. Likes to cook and sew.

For Contest Entries Only: Hazel first and foremost is different body wise. She's a bit taller with bigger breast, kind of she would ideally look like if she could. Her personality is also a bit happier, and she will actually laugh and not dwell on the negative thoughts. So, all in all, she's a bit more optimistic and a bit sexier in her eyes in cannon.

Notable Features: Burn scars on left side of body. Missing 3 fingers on left hand. Missing his left leg and has a poorly-fitted metal prosthetic he limps on. Always carries a gun and a knife on him.

What would other characters know about you?
Garren is one of Ivy’s many lackeys in the Wings gang. Garren is in a difficult place with the gang—fiercely loyal to the Wings and to Ivy’s father, but not particularly fond of Ivy herself, who is now the leader.

After Ivy and Pandora made some sort of deal, the details of which Garren still knows nothing about, Ivy offered Pandora parts of Garren’s body as payment. Pandora ate his left leg, then took three fingers as a snack for later. Garren survived, still remaining in the gang despite Ivy’s poor treatment of him.

Garren mostly does odd jobs for Ivy now, no longer physically able to offer protection services like most of the gang.

No one knows where he received the massive burn scars on the left side of his body. Rumor has it that Ivy and Garren both have burn scars from the same incident, but this has never been proven. No one knows what the 'V' of his name stands for, either.

Personality-wise, he is known for being wild and hot-tempered.

Build: Scawny, but lean build.
Notable Features: Juniper looks a lot younger without the luxuries of cosmetics and hair dye. His freckles are now very apparent and are scattered everywhere from the blistering sun. His hair is strawberry blonde/ginger and is usually pulled into a low pony tail for work. He typically is seen in his uniform wearing some kind of hat to protect himself from the sun along with cracked rectangular glasses. Juniper looks like he could be anywhere from 15-20 even though he's 26.
What would other characters know about you?
Juniper is a cop who has failed to many physicals to do any dirty work. He mainly lurks around, making sure everyone is a law abiding citizen. Though he looks like a teen, Juniper's a force to be reckoned with, not many people go out of their way to cause him any trouble after the incident. Like Kel, he is well known around the town, a friendly neighborhood cop with a sickly sister. Unlike his Manta Carlos counterpart, he is practically a saint, and mainly lives to help others, even if it strains him. He likes to make others happy whether it be by singing, telling jokes, or doing silly dances. He is even known affectionately as 'the fashion police'.
Underneath his friendly facade is a very strained individual. He suppresses negative traits and anything else that may make him seem unapproachable. His worse fear is Kel getting hurt again. On top of that he is a closet case and hides personal struggles because there are bigger things to worry about. He may seem friendly, but if he suspects someone is a fire eater, they're in for a bad time as his weapon of choice is somewhat gruesome.

Build: Petite, malnourished figure.
Notable Features: What sticks out about Kel isn't her eyes, but the burns that cover most of the upper half of her face. She is able to see out of only her right Besides the burns, her hair is much longer and cleaner kept, she usually ties part of it up so it's not entirely in her face, but tries to hide the scarring with her hair as much as possible. Because she's inside most of the time, she has an almost ghastly complexion and not a freckle in sight. She looks young, but her could pass as her age unlike her Manta Carlos counterpart.

What would other characters know about you?
Keep is a shut in with a piss poor attitude. Despite being a shut in, most of the city folk know of Kel. Kel was born ill and has been ever since, she gets tired easily and usually has to be seated. She was talented at making concoctions and at one point was a valuable asset to the community, but was constantly pitied even before the incident.

Kel had been treated like she's made of glass her entire life and was sick of it. She tried to run away, but was met by the fire eaters and blinded via chemical weaponed. Fortunately her 'brother', Juniper, was able to get save her before anything worse could happen. Since then people have been gossiping about her and the massive scarring on her face. She pretends to like she doesn't care and likes doing nothing all day.

Kel has a rising suspicion that she'd be the first one to go considering she's useless in most people's eyes so she tries her hardest to still be of use. Personality wise, she has a fighting spirit, and has the same friendly aura as Juniper. Like her brother, she has strong negative feelings towards the fire eaters and has been luring them in for revenge.
