His skin is covered in freckles, especially across his cheeks, but he usually wears powder to hide them. When performing whether back at the circus or on television, he wears stage makeup to make his features look less washed out. Off stage, he wears barely any makeup other than powder and lip balm.
While his red hair remains the most noticeable feature, his pale green deep set eyes would place a close second. He conceals the dark circles under his eyes with makeup but they become more prominent with stress and lack of sleep. Other than his eyes, his face takes on more feminine features, brows thin and arched, nose narrow and slightly pointing upwards, and a sharp v-shaped jaw.

There are more advantages when he behaves like his stage self than any other side of him, so he uses that persona the most often, especially around strangers. He is not limited to how many illusions he can make in a timeframe as long as it adds up to 15 feet in volume. It is easy to detect that his illusions as he can only produce auditory and visual, nothing tangible or with sense. The illusions he makes cannot control someone to the extent that they can be blinded or deafened permanently.

His sister left him to go to Starlight Academy for her high school years. He missed her terribly, but kept in touch with her through letters, where she deliberately hid the fact that it was a magic school. Unlike his sister, Juniper was forced to attend public high school for reasons unbeknownst to him. High school was hell for a ginger wannabe magician who also happened to be homosexual, he was bullied pretty heavily for just being himself. This was the start of what he called his ‘emo’ years, he quickly turned pessimistic and snarky to combat against the bullies. The highlight of his first semester of high school was his role in the school play “ A Midsummer’s Night Dream” which said a lot considering he had to wear a donkey mask for over half the duration.
To escape from the hell he was going through, he decided to run away. Not that he hated his mother, but he thought that he could make it big somewhere where there was less sheep. On an annual class trip to the agriculture museum, Juniper’s plan was put into action. While his classmates were preoccupied reading a sign of an exhibit, Juniper slipped away from his group and bolted to the nearest train station. Within two hours, he went from being in a sleepy village, to a buzzing city. He took on a job at the circus who in exchange for his work, agreed to kept him hidden and tutor him on the art of deception.
Both his mother and sister eventually found his whereabouts and suprisingly, they both supported him choosing to work at the circus instead of attending a crappy public school because oddly enough, living in a tent with several ex cons seemed to be the place where he belonged. And so he continued to travel with the circus, his position as elephant poop scooper quickly upgraded to having his own act.
