I mean, I'm not that far down. I haven't played Idolm@ster unfortunately, but I've played LoveLive for a year until I decided to call it quits. The games I have right now are Band Yarouze, Tsukino Paradise, BanG Dream for the rhythm game side and a side of Ensemble Stars too! But I haven't played any of those in like a month now since things got a little distracting :'D so who's your best boy

I fear getting back into Harvest Moon and I'm still siting here staring at Stardew Valley on my laptop in fear that it might consume me as much as HM did back in highschool lmfao

Ahh, good old content mods, extending our time spent simply mixing and matching the new stuff, sometimes with old stuff.

I really want to try out Fallout 4 for the gun customization, because I'm all about that. Sadly, I don't have a computer beefy enough for it. I don't think I'll be too enticed about building stuff, since I'm not too into that, but who knows... I've once built a temple carved into a mountain in minecraft, so anything could happen...

ooh ooh i play tsukipara too!! i've been playing since the day it was released cuz i loved the tsukiuta anime so much. the other units are getting their own anime soon too and i'm really pumped so it

with tsukipara, idolmaster, and love live i can play casually and not have to spend any money since it isn't too hard to get the game currency and stuff, but with ensemble stars you either have to completely empty your wallet into the game or save up dia for months if you want to tier for events.. it's such a pain but this is the life i live. thankfully my fave unit isn't too popular so i don't have to spend too much :')

stardew valley is so much fun but for some reason i could never get into it like with harvest moon.. though i haven't really put as many hours into it as i want to. i should start playing it again soon >_>


Nameless=> yeah definitely! tbh my main reason for wanting to pc game is cuz of mods in general.. i love really story mods. i was so invested in this one skyrim story mod that i got upset when it was over lolol

if you have a ps4 or an xbox one you could buy it for one of those consoles! before i got a better computer, i had to play it on my ps4. a lot of people say the story sucks but who cares about the plot sucking if there's so many other things to do in the game? it's really fun imo and i'd recommend playing it if you're able to!
the building aspect of the game is surprisingly fun but gathering materials can be a hassle. if only the console versions of fallout 4 had console commands.. T_T

PC MASTER RACE

Sadly, the only consoles I had were the Famicom and PS1. We never did have money to buy those, but we didn't have to since we had pcs and it satisfied my gaming needs. Plus, I didn't know what games were on consoles, so I never got jealous enough to bother my parents for one xD

But yea, I mainly enjoy playing things for their stories, but if its weak, I generally don't care so long as the gameplay is good. I mean, I make up silly stories with units in rts games, pretending that those pixels had personality of their own. So in a way, I pick up where the narrative drops.

Also its kind of funny how consoles don't have console commands.

ohhhh i see i see.. as long as your gamer needs have been satisfied with what you have then that's good! i spend too much time on social media so whether i want to or not, i always find out about what games are being released. i'm currently saving up for a nintendo switch so i can get splatoon 2 ;_;

me too! to me, story and characters are the most important part of a game. and if a game handles its characters terribly and/or has a ton of plot holes, then i take it upon myself to right those wrongs and fill in the missing pieces myself. that's one of the reasons i love writing fanfics as much as i do.

RIGHT??? that's always bothered me! it's not fair that they're available in pc games but not on the console versions >:'(

What I would give to have a switch. It just looks like a really amazing handheld/console, and the games it has looks amazing as well. And yes, now that I'm more exposed to social media compared to myself back then, I just want all the consoles and all the games now too.

Whenever I write fanfics I always preferred using OCs since I just don't find it very enjoyable to mess around with canon characters and take myself seriously. Although there were some exceptions. But I guess its because of the extra work on making the character act like he should be acting.

For consoles, they could always use those gameshark or gamegenie things

saaame :tears: along with splatoon 2, i really wanna play super mario odyssey. it looks so fun and colorful, it reminds me a bit of super mario sunshine, which is my favorite in the series ;v;

oh yeah i definitely get that. it's a lot more pressuring and stressful writing canon characters as opposed to your own ocs. with ocs you don't exactly have to worry about messing up, but with canon characters there's always that fear looming over you. it's the same with rping, too. i tried rping as canon characters from series' that i like, but it's just too much. it's so much more comfortable writing as your own character.

yknow, sometimes i forget that those things exist. i only heard of gameshark stuff for like. gameboy games and stuff. i had no idea there were ones for consoles that aren't handheld :0

Ahh, the game that turned Mario into a demon capable of possessing other creatures via hat demon. I really missed out a lot on Mario games in the past. The only I ever played was super mario brothers on the famicom. That game was torture for a child who didn't know what to do.

Oh definitely. Because if you play your own character slightly differently, you can just say its character development, and it usually is. Most of my recurring characters over on different sites were more fleshed out and bearable thanks to those little changes. But people are going to tar and feather you if you make any changes to their own perception of canon characters. Some enjoy the changes and others demand blood for your sacrilege. Which is why canon x oc just never flies too well.

I'm sure I heard about those kinds of devices for xbox and playstation. Though I never saw what they looked like or where they connect. For nintendo consoles, since they use cartridges, I believe their device was like a cartridge that you stick onto the port and have the game stick onto that.

who wouldn't want to be possessed by a demon and then possess others with the power aforementioned demon gives you? personally i think it's a little silly, but silly isn't always a bad thing. honestly though, the only mario game in the past that really stuck out to me was super mario sunshine. it's so warm and enjoyable it always puts me in a good mood. the only thing you really missed out on was that game, but others could say different.

yes!! and that's a very good way to develop characters too. i never did too much rping due to anxiety so i rarely got the chance to take advantage of this, but i've seen so many of my friends' ocs become better and better through this method. and yeah, that's why i'm so nervous about posting my fanfics online. my fragile heart would shatter if i wrote a character wrong.
i used to be wicked against series ocs having any type of relationship with canon characters, but it's a really dumb thing to get angry over. if someone wants their character to be friends, or even something more, with a canon character then that shouldn't be a problem. it's not like it'd be canon in the long run anyway. everyone should just have fun and let others have fun too!

yeah, with the gameboy and ds you could just stick them where the cartridges go and stuff, but with actual consoles it's just a big guessing game lol would it go where the discs go?! does it plug into the back?! who knows
