Aletia grinned. "I mean the element. It did partly raise me." Aletia then gave herself a mental check-up. Was she feeling alright? She never has told anyone who hadn't known about her nickname even a fraction of her past. She simply shrugged and continued.

"And, what do you mean by suicide?"

Ed's eyes widened, and she nodded seriously. Odd.. "Suicide." She sat back down on the floor, not used to the feeling of not having to look up at someone. "I've seen four, myself. They held hands, and all did it together." She pulled a face, remembering. "They made a big mess. I don't think they did it right."

She noticed the girl's expression, shrugging slightly. "It seems like a lot of people commit suicide around here. I was wondering if you've ever tried it. It seems like fun, like you'd be flying."

Aletia looked surprised, saying "Really? Wow, I'm glad I haven't done that, though I guess I should watch my back." Aletia turned towards one of the corners of the gym. Ice had begun to form.

"Can you also control Ice?" she asked, confused. If it wasn't Edward, then perhaps someone else was doing it.

Ed shrugged, obviously not really caring about their deaths. "Watch your back fo-" She glanced up at the girl's second question, eyes sweeping quickly across the room to rest on the ice that was slowly devouring the corner. "No... I don't think so." She glanced down at her hands, shaking her head and standing up. "No, it's not me." She repeated, glancing over at the other girl. "Are you doing that?"

Aletia's head tilted slightly. "Well, I don't think it's me, but who knows. Anyway, what I mean by watch my back is that... actually, I don't know." Aletia said, sweat dropping. That was the last time she said something like that. Or, at least she hoped so anyway. She turned her back to the icy corner, walking over to the punching bags. Stopping half way, she yawned, her hands rising. Unfortunately, the ice also rised, following her hands movements, devouring the corner further, soon reaching the ceiling of the gym.

Ed's wide eyes turned even bigger at the spreading of the ice, and she pointed a finger accusingly at the ceiling. "Look at that!" She implored although she had no doubt Aletia was staring at the same thing as her. "Can you make the whole gym turn into ice?"

She grinned excitedly, running over to the ice and crouching down to examine it more carefully.

((ooc: short >_>))

Aletia blinked several times before turning around to see where Edward was talking about. She knew what she meant, for her head was facing the ceiling, but it was weird. Last time she had checked, she could only control Wind. But this school has people with lots of powers-it's only natural if someone finds out that they have more than one power.

"Wow..." she said. The ice was turning the gym into an... icy gym. The ice soon began to develop on the hinges, making it unable to be opened. The ice was just spreading like mould... "Oh... my... God..." she annouced, pointing towards the door of the gym. How could this happen...

Something was not right.

"You're quite talented," Edward chirped, laying her hand on the ice to see if she could feel the cold. She couldn't, and she removed it quickly before Aletia could see. "I wish I could control ice."

She wandered back to where the girl was standing, staring at her a few minutes and finally realizing: Aletia must be discovering this power for the first time! Her eyes widened slightly, and she looked over at the quickly spreading ice with new interest. She'd never seen anyone get a power before... "Can you control it?"

Aletia shook her head, still staring at the door. Oh great. What a great time for a new power to arise. Just when she had made a friend. The ice began to run to her feet, yet stopping before it came further than an inch close to her. Aletia turned her head towards the ice, her stare becoming as cold as the ice. Which, by what Aletia saw, was quite cold, but mild. Once more facing Edward, she shrugged. "Perhaps it really is me." And once more, without realising it, ice formed on the wall behind. Yet in a pattern. Slowly, it became words; the words she had just said.

Another grin, and she clapped her hands in excitement before pointing towards the wall. She took a few careful steps on the now ice covered floor, slipping suddenly and falling down with a quiet 'aai!' of surprise. She slid herself across the floor towards the other girl, who somehow seemed less happy with the discovery then Ed. "You're writing your talk on the wall." She said, in case Aletia didn't already notice. "And the door is all frozen." She cocked her head to one side, amber hair swaying slightly with the movement. "Are you scared?" If Aletia was afraid, then Ed felt that she had a reason to be frightened as well.
