Aletia noticed how Ed wasn't suddenly not as excited as she was before. It seemed she had really wanted to find out if she had anymore powers. Aletia then rembered what she had said. She was checking if the boy was there. The blue-eyed girl tried to sense his presence, but as the fire flickered, she couldn't tell.

Aletia shrugged slightly. "A long time Ithink, unless I find someway to make the flame bigger and make more than one." And with that, Aletia put her hand closer to the freezing ice, until discovering that the ice around her fist was melting, become what it originally was; a plain, normal fist.

"Hey! My fist is turnin' back to normal!" she cheered, smiling.

Farrion heard a voice come through, and he assumed it was asking if he was there.

"I'm still here!" he screamed, hoping she could hear him, "Do you guys need help yet?"

He then reached out using his power and felt that the emotion in the room on the other side of the wall wasn't too scared so he decided he should continue to wait and see if they asked if he would help them.

Smiling with total glee, Aletia shook her head. "No, we're fine. We were just checking you were still there!"
