With a loud click, Edward opened the door to the gym, glancing around for anyone else in the room and, finding no one, walked inside. She tossed her gym bag on the floor by the side, rifling in it for hand pads and then deciding she didn't need them.
She was wearing a cut off t-shirt that ended higher up then she'd normally like, well-worn baggy gi pants adorning her legs. They were her sister's, and she'd had to change into the older girl's form to be able to wear them without them slipping off. She tied up her now-black hair into two short pigtails, taking a deep breath and dropping to the ground to stretch. "Echo?" She questioned curiously, black eyes flickering to the ceiling as her voice did just that. "It's so large.." She announced again, glancing around the room yet again in amazement.
Ed stood up, knowing she hadn't stretched enough but not really caring. She easily threw a roundhouse kick into the air, naming it silently as her sister had taught her to do, after it had become apparent that she'd forget them otherwise. Mawashi Geri. She was admittedly very fit, and in her sister's body it actually showed. She grinned down at the flat stomach that protruded from the short shirt, hopping up on one foot and firing a jumping kick - Tobi Mae Geri, she reminded herself - into nothingness.
Hiza Geri. Kansetsu Geri. Yoko Geri - a whole set of each, in fact. She paused, kneeling to get a water bottle out of her gym bag. She'd never had an actual gym to train in before - just the living room, with all the chairs pushed back and her older sister insisting she call her Sensei. She sighed, holding her arms above her in a yawn. And now, she was all alone in this school, with no annoying sister, no mother hovering over her shoulder.. Oh, she'd had no idea how much she'd miss them. Get back to work! Her sister's voice mentally scolded her, and she laughed softly, falling into a fighting stance and continuing her workout. At least she still had memories..
