Gabe had officially checked out mentally. How... how did that happen? They had gone from almost separating to... whatever that was. They had been so close together and how deep the kissing had gone, nevermind the marks he knew would be left along Yuki's collarbone. There had been so much happening, yet Gabe couldn't find himself regretting a single moment. He was exhausted but he could see the two them doing that again, keeping that closeness. He was laying beside his equally-if-not-more-so-exhausted boyfriend and he couldn't help but smile.

Gabe felt... safe. Putting himself out like that with Yuki had been both terrifying and a huge comfort at the same time. Knowing that they wanted that closeness, wanted their relationship to work... it was reassuring. He only hoped that Yuki had enjoyed it as much as he had.

With slow, careful movements, Gabe moved to lie next to Yuki and wrap an arm around the other boy's waist. He pulled his boyfriend close and gently placed a soft peck against Yuki's cheek. "...I'm sorry if it was uncomfortable... I know we probably... pushed farther than we both expected. I don't regret it, though. I wanted this. I hope you wanted it like I did." He paused, seeming almost embarrassed in their post-make out cuddle. "Even if it wasn't that good. I... I've never done that before. That wasn't something I ever thought... I didn't think anyone would want me or trust me like that..."

He paused again, his voicy shaky for a multitude of reasons that he couldn't vocalize. "I love you, Yuki."

Yuki couldn't. This was too much. He didn't deserve this. Didn't deserve this happiness. But he felt it anyway, the heat from before fading out to a sense of inner warmth as he felt himself floating... But also not floating? He felt giddy. Everything was new and the places that Gabe had marked throbbed softly, the boy able to feel every single pulse point that Gabe had kissed. It was new and kind of hurt, but he didn't mind. It was tingly.

He wrapped his own arm around Gabe's waist too; the both of them lay sideways, held closely against each other so Gabe wouldn't fall off of the sofa. His heart couldn't melt any further, so he just ended up smiling warmly at his boyfriend. He was too happy to be embarrassed or shocked as he listened. "It was good. It was so good. You made me...feel things I'd never felt before. And it was amazing. I can only hope that you felt just as good doing it as I felt receiving it."

He chuckled softly, taking a moment to kiss the skin under Gabe's eye and the blush on his cheek. "I want you. I trust you like that. I want you like that. You were so good I thought... I thought you might have already done something like that before. With a girlfriend or boyfriend." He felt his own cheeks warm lightly, even more than they already were from how hot it was in the room and how warm he was. "I love you too." He said in Japanese, using the less serious verb and not the dramatic one from last time. "We've said it so many times tonight that I'd assumed we'd both know that very well." He giggled as he returned to English.

This was nice. He could see the beginning of twilight as the blues began to turn to purples in the distance. He could see Gabe's eyes and wanted to dive into them, tracing every line and speckle and capturing them forever in photos.

He brought his free hand up to try and stroke Gabe's cheek, but it destabilised them both and they rolled off the couch, Yuki landing atop Gabe. He laughed, but was also worried. "Are you alright?" He breathed, kneeling over him and deciding to stroke Gabe's cheek anyway. The skin was a little rough and firm, but still lovely and soft.

Gabe couldn't help but laugh as the two hit the floor. Did it hurt? A little but that was okay. He was too giggly to even notice the throbbing pain eminating from the back of his head. The little touches he received from Yuki were always the ones that made his mind reel and the caress against his cheek was so soft and he couldn't help but gaze at Yuki.

"I'm... fantastic. I can't describe how happy I am despite hitting my head on the floor." He giggled, taking Yuki's hand in his and just... holding it. He knew things were going to be okay. He believed that they would. And Yuki wanted him. Like, actually wanted him and wanted to be with him. "And I was being entirely honest with you earlier. I haven't ever done anything like that... I just..." He trailed off, laughing as he glanced off to the side. "I just did what happened in some of my books and it... kinda worked? I didn't hurt you, though, right? I tried to be extra careful cause of my teeth and even with the mouth guard... I..."

He looked back to Yuki with a soft smile, his rambling trailing off into quiet. He couldn't think of more an apology if he did accidentally hurt Yuki, so Gabe simply chose the best option in his head: he reached up and pushed a few loose strands of snow-white hair behind the other boy's ear. His hand remained by Yuki's head for a long moment before slowly laying back down on the floor.

"Hey, Yuki?" Gabe whispered, a thought crossing into his mind. "Next time you come over, can I... can I introduce you as my boyfriend? Would you... be okay with that?"

"Of course I would." He smiled softly, wrapping his arms and legs around Gabe like a monkey as he lay atop him. "Just be aware that you're making a commitment, young Gabriel." He purposely used Gabe's proper name, teasingly pausing on every syllable. "You can't dump me ever now, even if you end up wanting to." He rubbed his cheek against Gabe's with a light giggle. It was joking, but... he couldn't help but shiver a bit at the thought of ending things with Gabe. But it was okay. He had Gabe's warmth to warm him up.

Speaking of warmth, their sorbet was probably melting. But the boy had an idea. Staying in his current position, he sneakily took a dessert fork and held it against the cold cloche covering the sorbet, letting it take on an icy temperature. Then he took a spoonful of the actual sorrel sorbet, sensitive nose enjoying the subtle citrussy aroma. The revenge-on-Gabe-for-before plan (name to be improved later) was set.

With a grin and a snicker he couldn't contain, he shoved the icy fork against Gabe's cheek with a satisfied "aha!" Then as he heard Gabe yelp in surprise, he shoved a spoonful of the sorbet into Gabe's mouth and rolled him over, so he wouldn't accidentally choke. He shifted Gabe to sit against him, grinning as he watched the reaction by putting his face over Gabe's shoulder. How did he like that? Yuki wondered.

This was not the way Gabe was expecting Yuki to feed him.

Getting a cold fork to the cheek before getting a surprise spoonful of citrus sorbet in his mouth. He swallowed it quickly, feeling his throat tighten from the sudden shift in temperature. He broke out into a small coughing fit before turning over to Yuki with a small frown. "That was delicious but not how I was expecting to have dessert." He hummed, quickly shifting into a smile. "It did taste pretty good, though." He mused, briefly considering pulling Yuki down into another kiss to share the taste but thought better of it. It might lead to a second round and Gabe's brain could barely hold it together as it was.

But the warmth of Yuki holding him close left butterflies fluttering in his stomach and he carefully shifted so he was now chest to chest with his boyfriend. Their noses were practically touching and Gabe's smile grew wider and wider as he looked into the purple eyes that mesmerized him so easily.

"So, we're not allowed to break up ever? That's fine by me. Like you said earlier, 'I love you means you're never getting rid of me.' So... I want you to have something. And it's cheesy and silly and maybe too forward but I don't care. Yuki, the key I gave you. Keep it. I want you to keep it and know that you can... you can come here whenever you want. My door is always open to you. Always."

He leaned in, giving his boyfriend a small peck on the lips before pulling back to give the two a little distance between them. He knew they'd been kissing a lot in the past few hours, but this was one not of passion, but of sincere love and caring.

Yuki's brain stopped working.

He could only laugh stupidly, unable to form complete sentences as he muttered a range of fragmentary utterances (including but not limited to: "I love," "silly," "Gabe," "gonna...") and kinda just...collapsed? His head was spinning and he had been pushed past his limit, aware of the key in his pocket but unable to do anything about it. He loved Gabe. Too much for words. He just kept laughing and laughing and smiling and grinning and saying stupid things as he stared up into Gabe's eyes.

There was a limit to how much love and happiness you could take in one day. And how much sappiness you could take in one day. It was a sensory overload. He felt faint. But it felt awesome. He was sleepy...

Gabe made a quick reach for his boyfriend, watching the snow-white haired boy lean back and almost seemed to collapse outright. With delicate movements, he helped pull Yuki to the couch from the floor and looked over his form. Clearly, Gabe had done something to make him so giggly. The immediate thing that came to mind was the offering of the key. Was it too grand of a gesture? Or was Yuki that flattered at the offer it made the boy all giddy? Gabe wasn't sure, but if it made him happy, it made Gabe happy too.

"You stay here and recover from your giggle fit. I'll go clean up. Hopefully this stuff is safe to be refrigerated..." Gabe trailed off, getting up and pushing the cart back toward the kitchen. He did his best to safely package the food to be stored, taking extra care with the sorbet. It was delicious but he'd rather enjoy it not being forced into his mouth out of surprise. It was a clever little trick, though. Once everything was packaged and cleaned to the best of his ability, he wheeled the cart by the door to eventually send out. This whole fancy delivery service went over his head and that was okay. It was a Yuki thing and he was going to try. Both of them were going to try because both of them thought their relationship was worth trying to fix.

Stepping back into the living room, he went to check on his now much quieter boyfriend. Gabe leaned down, seeing the slow, even breathing of an asleep boyfriend and he couldn't help but giggle a little. It was sweet. "You rest for a minute... my prince." Since Yuki had called him Sir Gabe, then it only made sense for the white-haired boy to be a prince, no? With a gentle kiss on his boyfriend's forehead, he slid down onto the floor and pulled out his phone.

Time to start looking for fancy restaurants for a proper date.
