Adelina nodded her head. That didn't really surprise her, since he hadn't been here too long. She wasn't exactly the best first person to meet, though, and she knew it; but, oh well for him. "I've met a few people here," she said, just because she felt like mentioning it. She noticed that it was getting colder, and shivered slightly, though didn't attempt to make herself warmer by rubbing her hands together like Andrew was doing.

"If you're getting cold, you don't have to stay out here with me," she said softly.

Andrew shook his head. "I'm fine. Are you? You look pretty cold yourself." He asked. She acted so...unemotional. That didn't really seem like the right word to him, but he could think of nothing else.

Adelina shrugged her shoulders. "I guess I'm fine," she said. She sighed, and looked around before looking back at Andrew, silent for a few moments. She didn't feel like talking about the cold, and she really wanted to change the subject. "Anymore ideas on what we should talk about?" she asked him.

Andrew thought for a moment. "We've talked about powers, siblings...How old are you?" He asked finally.

Adelina couldn't help it; she laughed, shaking her head somewhat. "We already talked about that," she reminded him, then stopped for a moment, thinking. "At least... I think we did." She blinked. "Anyway, yeah. I'm fifteen, but my sixteenth birthday is coming up, so yeah. And you?"

Andrew laughed. "Oh. Sorry, I couldn't remember. What grade are you in, then?" He asked, a little embarrassed.

[when do you want me to have Andrew ask Addie?]

((OoC: Um... hm.... next post? haha.))

Adelina smirked at him embarrassment, but didn't say anything about it. She kind of wanted to make fun, but kept her mouth shut, since she didn't exactly have the best memory either. "I'm in tenth grade," she told him. "What about you?"

"Same." Andrew replied. He paused. If he was going to ask her, he needed to ask her soon-the dance was only a few days away...and what was the worst she could do? Say no?
"Hey, Addie, would you go to the fall ball with me?"

A look of pure shock and confusion immediately took over Adelina's face. What had he just asked her? To go to the Fall Festival thing with him? Hadn't she told him she thought those things were a waste of time, that she wasn't going? She was sure that she had earlier in their conversation. And besides... she had been mean to him... she had made fun of him... why would he want to go with her, of all the people at this academy? There were so many nicer people that he could go with...

"No," she said. "What's the point? It'll be boring, it's probably aimed more for the little kids. Besides, didn't I tell you earlier I thought these things were a waste of time?" She sighed, pausing. "And, of all people, why do you want to go with me? There's a lot more people here.... a lot more nicer people..."

Andrew shrugged. "Yeah, but it MIGHT be fun." He paused. "And it's not like you're pure evil or anything. Besides, if you don't go with me, I'll have to talk my sister into going since I haven't really met anyone else here, and Dani'll probably fireball me the first time I step on her toes." Okay, Andrew wasn't that easy going. He could be pretty stubborn when he wanted to.
