"Oh, don't be so pouty, Chee. I like you both."
Orion almost felt a little bad for "picking" Dori over Chee. It was a joke though and he was sure they both knew it. At worst, the momentary favoritism would be lost in their eternal sibling squabble. Wanting to still smooth things over, though, Orion reached out and petted Chee's head while she tried pointing him in the right direction of whatever treasure the Trailbreaker had locked-on to.
The sisters did not need to tell him twice about following the glow. It was a practice he and many others had become familiar with. It was a tried and true mechanic searching mechanic after all, especially in games.
Smiling down at the girls, he started walking at a steady pace forward. Every so often he would stop and reorient himself with the Trailbreaker, following wherever it glowed brightest.
"We got this. We got this. Just gotta do this right..."
That was when a loud crashing sound rang through the trees. Orion swung around in surprise, looking for the source, only to find that the source came to them: an orange-haired girl had fallen out of the tree right in front of them. Curiously, he pointed the Trailbreaker axe at her to see if the thing was indicating her. It wasn't.
"Hey. You okay? Are you hurt?"
