It wasn't often that Ven felt like a real werewolf.
Part of the argument for this is because, by the modern definition, many people argued against the fact that Ven was a werewolf. He was, just not the howl-at-the-full-moon-kind.
That didn't stop Ven from trying. He was creeping through the underbrush in the dark of the woods.
His human body was nestled comfortably in a tent several miles away. He'd texted someone to let them know where he'd be staying in case Ven didn't wake up for a few days so, at the very least, he knew he was safe. He got to do wolf things, or at least, what Ven thought were normal wolf things. He'd read a book, so Ven was practicing being more wolf-like, skirtng through the trees, pausing to listen and perk his ears when he thought he heard something.
He was slowly getting the hang of this, he thought. His tongue lolled and Ven stretched, completely oblivious to the fact that he'd pushed beyond the normal woods and into the forbidden forest.
