Hey there and welcome to SA!

I'm ReD and I'm a book addict, so if you're into reading you should totally check out our "What are you Reading?" thread and recommend books to us (or tell us which ones we shouldn't read!) I read my first Rick Riordan book this year (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief...because I felt bad for never having read it) and I've been a long time Rowling fan. I've never given James Patterson a chance (he's really like 6 different authors writing under one name, so I probably should, because at least one of them should be good. xD I constantly hear good things about Alex Cross all the time, too.)

Our admin, Kyros, is big into League of Legends, so when she's back from her vacation she'll probably have something to say about the matter hahaha

I'm slowly, slowwwllly getting back into anime/manga after a long hiatus and I wound up at my first anime convention back in August. It was refreshing to be around fans who actually liked stuff. I think my favorite mangas have been Rurorini Kenshin, Fruits Basket, and Dragon Knights (which is ironic since I hate romances) but my favorite anime is probably Princess Monoke/Mononke Hime...which is how I remember that Hime is the Japanese word for princess xD

I am ClaireGirl, A.K.A Claire. I am a fourteen year old female and I have not been here that long, but long enough to say that this place rocks. I am a huge nerd.

Reading: I love reading books, and love the fantasy and action genre. Anything that keeps me entertained. Rick Riordan, Suzanne Collins, and just really anything that catches my eye. J.K Rowling is awesome too.

I am also into anime and animation. Series like fruit basket, soul eater, the legend of Korra/avatar the last airbender, death note, stuff like that. Iove animation movies even more, since they were kind of the first movies I watched (Hayao Miyazaki, Disney).

I just started getting into manga,picking up random mangas and reading them. I have not read that many, though I have some in my room that I really liked. I guess, the one that wanted me to start expanding my view of books were the graphic novels of the walking dead.

Don't even get me started on video games. I am a HUGE nerd and gamer girl. If you want to see all the ones that I play, the video game thread would be the place. I guess my top five franchises and gamesfor all of the consoles I have would be:
The last of us
Bioshock Series
Farcry 3
Skyrim
Fallout 3 and new vegas

I guess yeah :P
I am not too fond of sports, because I was never on a team, but I like soccer, biking, swimming and running.
