Paul walked down the hall towards the office of the Headmistress. He was a bit nervous of what he should say.. afterall, he sort of broke the rules. But it was Corona's fault, right? And it WAS sort of important. He couldn't help but being afraid of punishment, though. Maybe Corona wasn't the best of teachers for him.

Calm down, I'll do the talking if it makes you feel better.
It does a little.. but it would've been nice to know that "risk of death" was a part of your "class".
Oh shush. You've known the risks since you obtained your ability.

He had reached the door of the Headmistress's office. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door a little lighter than he should have. When he realized that there is no way anybody could hear that, he knocked alot louder.

Maria's head fell to her desk. She despised paper work. Why is it that I have to handle everything in this school? After that thought, she rolled her eyes and lifted her head. "Nevermind..." she said aloud to that thought, and rubbed her forehead. She really needed to stop being frustrated over such small things.

She thought she heard a soft knock at the door, but dismissed it as imagination until she heard the louder knock. The Headmistress stood from her desk and walked over to the door, opening it and smiling softly in greeting to the student that was there. "Hello," she said. "Can I help you?"

"Umm.. uh... Hi.. err.."

Looks like its up to me..

His eyes suddenly flashed golden for a few seconds, and his expression changed from nervous to serious. Normal people probably wouldnt be able to figure out if the flash was real or their imagination.

"I have a matter of utmost importance I must bring up with you."

Maria just ignored the flash. She was used to these kinds of things at this school by now. Her face became serious as well and she opened the door more for him. "Please, come in," she said, and started walking to her desk, expecting that he would close the door. "What is this matter of utmost importance, as you put it?"

He closed the door as she expected , and followed her to the desk.

PLEASE try to not get me in trouble...
Shush, I'll do what is necessary.

"I'm afraid that a student of this particular establishment is in danger. Unfortunately, I was unable to find out which specific student it was. I do know, however, that it is a vampire hunting out this student. Whether or not he works for a greater power, I am unaware."

Maria merely listened to what he said. Oh, her job was never over, was it? This school couldn't stay peaceful for long... well, that was to be expected. "I see..." she said quietly. "Do you know this vampire's name or his reason for going after the student? Or, even more so, is the vampire a student himself?"

Paul turned his head to the side and smirked for a second, then looked back to the headmistress and his eye twinkled as if he had something up his sleeve.

"Lesson two: How to handle unexpected situations."

Just then, his body seemed to relax slightly, and his face looked dumb-founded.

"What are you going to-"

There was a few seconds of silence. He simply stood there. And a look of horror crossed his face.

Well? She's waiting for your answer. Give her a description of the vampire. You WERE paying attention, right?
You! You switched back! How could you!? You said you would handle it!!
You gotta learn sometime. Let's see how well you do.

"Umm..err I.. He was.. tall. No..he actually was kinda short.. and pale. With blonde hair. And he was.. evil.. no, definitely not a student. He was older..." Obviously, something had changed. For he wasn't as calm and serious as he was a few seconds ago.

Fail.

Maria blinked at his silence, but was patient. He was probably thinking, or at least, she thought so. The woman was slightly confused at how different he was acting from before, since he didn't seem as serious or sure anymore. Even so, she listened, and nodded. "Alright. Short, evil, blondish hair? Any certain features? Sorry, but that isn't a wonderful description, a lot of people are short with blonde hair."

She waited, hoping the boy had some more information. If he didn't, well, she would do the best she could with that information.

"...those eyes... those evil eyes.." He stared off into the distance, a look of horror on his face. Corona tried to snap him out of it, but with no such luck. Paul could only recall those evil eyes, seeming to stare right through him, into his soul. He had never faced such danger before, he had actually wondered what would have happened if the vampire attacked him. Would he have died? Would Corona have been able to save him?

Paul fell to his knees and put his arms around himself. He almost seemed to be having a panic attack.

Uh oh, not good! Maria quickly went toward the boy, crouching down next to him and laying a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it's ok. I'm gonna take care of this, alright?" she told him, confidence showing in her voice. The woman had done these sorts of things in the past, and would do so again. "Don't worry yourself over it or get scared, ok?"
