Micah's recollection was fuzzy, but something was very clear to him. He rememebered laying on the ground and seeing Dulce run to him, only to have his dad interfere with a backhanded smack to his face. Something happened to him then, that much he was sure of, but what it was and why he couldn't remember, and why his missing memories were only surfacing now of all times.

He wished he had more information regarding what he'd been doing from Mr. Cunningham's side of things. Maybe having some idea of what he'd been doing before now would jog his memory better than running over what he remembered over and over. If he could be trusted there were at least four years missing from his memory, which was a sizeable amount of memory to just be missing.

"Uh... Mister... Cunningham, was it... what was I doing before now?" He asked, looking around the ruined room. He very much hoped he didn't have anything to do with this huge mess.

Suddenly, he was being looked over by nurses in scrubs who were looking over him, touching his head, checking his eyes and his mouth, and talking to each other, asking him a bunch of questions.

"Alright, Micah. These two people will help you from here, okay? I promise everything will be okay. They just know more than I do. Just stay calm, okay?"

"I... okay, I'll try I... I don't understand, what's happening?"

"You, uh, you were causing a bit of a ruckus..."

Unfortunately for Micah, Jacob chose to answer as honestly as he could while also being as gentle as he could too. The fact that Jacob mirrored Micah's gaze over the destroyed room, with the shattered window and thrown-about desks. served only to confirm Micah's fears. As callous as it seemed to let Micah know that... something ruinous was his fault, Jacob felt it was just better to let him know the truth than continue to pile lies upon his missing memories.

The nurses were working quickly and methodically, but were also trying to do their best to keep Micah calm and comfortable. It was obvious that they had some kind of strict instructions to work under, and were working within those constraints.

"You'll be... you'll taken to a different place in the Academy that's better equipped to help you. They know more sbout your situation than I do, Micah, so it's better that you go with them."

All the while, Jacob was looking between Micah and the nurses, looking for approval on everything he was saying or looking to see if he was inadvertently saying a lie. It seemed that he was more or less on the money, and the nurses helped Micah to his feet and began leading him toward the door. Lelei held the door open again, and it could be seen that the ward that was active in the room had been extended to some of the hallways, creating a path to somewhere else.

"Everything will be alright, Micah..."

"You, uh, you were causing a bit of a ruckus..."

"So I did do all of this then..."

It was like being doused with cold water. Micah had always thought of himself as being a pacifist. He couldn't imagine himself ever hurting anyone or doing anything violent in his life. But apparently... apparently on top of having no memory of the last four years of his life his whole personality entirely changed. He wasn't a pacifist anymore.

Apparently he was capable of wanton destruction now.

"Oh... I..." He didn't want to leave this room. Something about this room had awakened him from darkness. Maybe it was Jacob himself, maybe it was the runes on the walls, maybe it was the shark man. All he knew was that something about leaving this room sounded a lot like whatever was happening that let him remember would end if he left he threshold. "I don't...."

He was helped to his feet and let himself be led to the door and into the hallways. He flinched, expecting to immediately lose consciousness again, but nothing of the sort happened. Apparently the runes on the walls were here too.

Actually, as he looked at them he could recognize them as being some sort of power restriction runes. He wondered why he needed them.

He didn't have any powers...

"Where... am I going?"
