Violets Are Blue...

Violet's face immediately flushed and she would duck her head, waving her hand dismissively. She was about to tell the man that wasn't necessary, when her stomach would make a loud rumble. God, she was absolutely starving. And she honestly thought she could hold her own if something happened...but he seemed genuinely apologetic and sweet, so she'd roll with it. After all, nothing wrong with free stuff, right?

"Sure, we can go. Do you...have something against outside though? Or do you just not like the sun and the heat?" Violet would finish her sentence with a question, pointing towards the umbrella the man carried around. She had also noticed he seemed to nag about the heat and the sunlight. Perhaps he was a vampire, and just didn't wanna be seen all sparkly. God forbid a werewolf show up, and suddenly there'd be bromance drama over some monotone girl or something...

Wait, what was going on in her head? Ugh, she really did need food...

Alec chuckled. He couldn't be any more satisfied with Violet's answer, even though technically it was her tummy that replied. As a simple gentlemanly gesture, he held out his hand even though he wasn't sure Violet would take it.

He tilted his head at the question. He wasn't surprised he would be mistaken as a vampire, but it did leave him curious about what this girl thought of that. "Unfortunately I don't have the fangs for it," he said, laughing softly. "But somehow, I'm similar to them in a sense. See my complexion? Being an albino makes it hard for me to stay under the sun, and my eyes are meant for the dark. And I haven't had any sleep yet so the light is extra hurtful to my eyes. I usually bring sunglasses but I forgot them this time." He shrugged. His hand has been held out the whole time, even as he unconsciously looked at the cafeteria's direction.

"Hmm... When we get there, you can choose whatever you want. Let's fill our stomachs."

Stumbling along with his cane out, Korite wandered along the streets, tapping around to find his way to a place to stop. Giving up, korite slid the cane into his jacket, and took off his tinted glasses he was near blind, not fully blind. Although the bright sun forced him to squint, making it practically impossible to see.

He overdid it on the ride here, and blew out all his senses. Reprimanding himself for being so stupid, he continued forward again. The problem with not looking down once in a while was this: you don't realize your standing right in front of a bench already. Falling over the back and landing hard on his face, Ko wished he could just disappear.

The sudden thought of it urged him to try. Without hesitation he urged himself to slide, hoping no one was watching him. After no result, Korite knew there was people watching him. It's kind of normal for people to stare when you trip over a park bench.
Shielding his eyes, he looked up to see the silhouette of two people sitting on the bench. 'Figures, it had to be full.' Ko thought to himself.

"Hi, it's very nice to meet you both. Quite sorry, am I dropping in on anything?" Korite asked, somewhat sarcastically.

Violet would eye the man suspiciously before taking his extended hand and picking herself up from the bench she sat on. She was glad he wasn't a vampire, though he sure must've felt like one. His incredibly pale complexion and sensitive eyes must've made the sun hard on him. Though that was no excuse to just shun the daylight, something Violet didn't think she'd ever be able to do. "That's a shame. I love it outside, especially when it's warm. But...food is a welcome distraction at the moment." Violet would say, her voice echoing through the man's mind. She was honestly amazed he had gotten so used to that so quickly. She was about to ask how, when a surprisingly loud thud came from her left.

Violet would immediately look over to the source of the noise, seeing another man on his face. Dropping Alec's hand, Violet would run over to the man, looking at him with worry and mild curiosity, all thoughts of food forgotten. "Ohmigosh, are you okay?" Violet would ask the newcomer. He spoke, meaning that he was okay, given the pun. Though the meaning behind his question was lost on her.

It takes talent to ruffle Alec, but this man easily surprised the hell out of him, and Paradox. The loud thud had made his heart race a mile, and the image of another man on the ground immediately forced a concerned feeling onto him.

Paradox was muttering curses in his head, most of them because of being surprised.

Alec followed Violet, and quickly extended his hand again, but this time it was for helping this guy to get up. No point in staying even a second longer lying down like that.

"Uh, not really," he answered his question, even though it sounded like he didn't need to. "Dude, are you hurt..? I mean, I'm pretty sure you are but should I get you something? Like maybe ice or... You're not bleeding, are you?"

Ko looked himself over. He didn't feel any blood. Then again, he couldn't really feel anything. Just a faint sense of pressure where he was laying on the ground. Pushiing himself up, he sat cross-legged in front of the bench.

"Nope, I don't think so. Are there any marks or anything on my face?" Korite asked without looking at anyone. He stared blankly ahead.
Self conscious at the sudden mention of marks and faces, he quickly pulled on the sleeves and collar of his jacket, stretching them out so his hands were hidden. Unfolding the collar, Ko brought it up so it came up over his mouth, hiding most of his face.

Closing his eyes tightly, Korite began contemplating the consequences of his next actions. 'If I look at them, I may ruin myself for days to come, but at the same time I should know who I'm speaking too, so I can understand them better.'
Deciding, Ko lightened the tension in his face and opened is eyes. The characteristic blind milkiness in his eyes were gone. Even though the image was only for a second as he blinked his eye open, it felt like an eternity. On one side, there was a girl not too younger than him. Everything abut her seemed crisp, clean, and even. Every color that came of her was some form of blue, violet or indigo. On the other, a man sat with undefinable borders. His overall image seemed blurry. He was there, but his features had a copy. Every line and turn was repeated with an offset of a fraction of a millimeter. It was like he was vibrating. Looking everywhere, Korite tried to find the third person. He swore he heard three voices. Seeing no one else in the general vicinity that could have spoken, Ko gave up his sudden search.

Closing his eyes again, Korite let his senses fade out into near nothingness, bringing him back into the dark. Going every detail again in his head, Korite jumped up suddenly.
"Sorry t-t-to bother y-you two. S-sir, lovely, I m-mean miss, I should be going. D-do either one of you k-know where s-starlight i-i-is?" Between the stuttering, blushing, and fact that starlight was visible over his shoulder, awkwardness and humor where uncomfortably high.

Violet would gather a confused look at the man. He seemed flustered, sure, but more than that even. He seemed ultra paranoid, as if there was something bothering him, or perhaps something following him with a horrible intent.

After he rose and was sure he was okay, he spoke, stuttering a surprising amount. Violet's face would flush as he called her 'lovely'. Her mind was torn in half, half wanting to thank him and half wanting to slam him against the nearest wall. In the end, she let it go, not quite sure what he meant or if it was an accidental slip, but not wanting to start anything if that's all it was.

When he asked where Starlight was, Violet would tilt her head to the side slightly, and point over the man's shoulder to the enormous building. "It's...right there. Huge main building, kinda hard to miss. We were actually just going inside ourselves." Violet would say, her voice in the mind of the newcomer in favor of Alec. Only being able to communicate with one person at a time sucked. She'd have to work on that eventually

Alec was pretty amazed by the other guy's appearance. He was just as much an albino as he was. But much taller.

Paradox was, however, not as observant, and was instead laughing. Only Alec could hear him in his mind, of course. Alec cringed, and hoped Paradox would stop.

"We're going to the cafeteria right now. Where exactly are you headed? We can help you look for it if we can " he simply replied, as decent and calm as possible, even though it was so noisy in his head.

Korite looked behind him, his face blushing more. Just inside his blurry view, he could make out a large boxy shape; the academy. Jerking his head back at the arrival of an odd sound, he scanned the faces of the two. Neither could be making the sound. Deciding that he already lost all his dignity and a stupid question couldn't hurt, he asked timidly:
"Which one of you is laughing?"
He heard it quite clearly, despite his hearing aids turned down. Plain as day, an echoing laughter.
"Also, do you mind if I come in with you? I need to get situated, I only just arrived." He added, trying his best not to ask directly to the girl. Ko fished around in his jacket, pulling out the tinted glasses and cane. He'd rather not make a fool of himself twice.

Violet would turn to Alec and frown at him slightly. Had he been laughing at this poor guy? Her frown would only deepen when she saw the man pull out tinted glasses and a cane. So...was he blind, then? That complicated matters, especially if this man wished to view...er, tour the campus and such. Violet would turn to Alec and tilt her head slightly.

"You wouldn't mind if he tagged along for just a little while, would you? It couldn't hurt anything, i'm sure, and look at him. He needs someone to help him around." Violet would ask inside Alec's mind. After asking and hopefully getting a reply, Violet would turn to the newcomer and smile at him.

"I...don't believe either of us laughed. I know I didn't, and I don't think Alec did, or if he did I didn't hear him."
