Ivan shut off and coiled into his cord like a snake before changing back and giving an elegant bow. "Our day at the beach has been cancelled, it seems. The good news is the day is young." The employees of the hotel watched with widened eyes as Ivan went through his transformation. They were terribly intrigued, but it would be rude to question their guests...

Ivan nodded. "It's a beautiful city. Even just taking a drive would be nice." Ivan was fine going pretty much anywhere but the casino; He was nowhere near as lucky as his father, which he learned the hard way when he was sixteen.

Scarlet nodded, and moving her hand down his arm and clasping his hand, she moved toward the front doors. As they approached, she hid a smile as two bellhops moved to open both doors open for them, one also holding an open umbrella.

Ivan grinned. It was nice to get so much respect. Ivan raised one arm, changing it into an umbrella. Charlie was already waiting, and was rather surprised to see the couple out thirty minutes before their scheduled outing. He had figured them to be the sort to show up fashionably late. No matter. He rather enjoyed working for mister and missus Grey. He climbed out to open the door for the pair.

Scarlet climbed in and told Charlie to just drive them around for a time. She grabbed a blanket that folded on a seat next to her and wrapped it around her lap.
Charlie nodded as Ivan climbed in and he shut the door. Charlie drove absently through the city, intent on showing his clients the most beautiful places in the city. Ivan kept an eye on the sights, but mostly watched Scarlet, the most precious thing he had.
