Scarlet grinned. [color=33ff99]"Aww! You're red! What a beautiful color."[/color] Scarlet ha no idea where they were going, for she had never been to the zoo.
Ivan laughed. "I'm having a great time. It makes me even happier to give you a great time." They had finally arrived at the zoo. It was being paid for by tax money, and entry was free. At the entrance was a large map that graphed where each of the animals were.
Ivan looked over the map. "Yes, they have monkeys. They have penguins, too. As well as ostriches, crocodiles, gorillas, and more..." It had been quite a while since he had been to this zoo, and since then they expanded, apparently.
Scarlet looked at the map before heading straight to the monkeys. Ever since she was a child her favorite animal had been the monkeys. When they got there, Scarlet began talking to the animals through her mind. She allowed Ivan to hear what they were saying to each other.
Ivan had never been able to understand the monkeys until now. He had always enjoyed the comical antics of primates, however. Ivan had still not discovered that Scarlet was deaf.
Scarlet carried on a conversation with a monkey named...George. [color=33ff99]"Is it fun to play in there?"[/color]
"Quite fun, yes. But sometimes it becomes smelly. Especially when Frank...well, you know. Otherwise, all the equipment is very entertaining to play on."
Scarlet looked over and grinned at Ivan.
To Ivan, that smile was worth more than the combined price of their dinner without his discount. He didn't see why she thought his power was so great; He could only turn into things that he had touched before. He thought her ability to talk to the monkeys was priceless.
((I've never heard of such a thing. You might have to ask about that.))
Ivan blinked twice. "You can do that...? That's amazing! I didn't know there was anyone who could let others borrow their power!" Ivan couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to use telepathy.
