Ivan ordered the pie for Scarlet after catching the waitress's attention. Ivan didn't care that Scarlet was costing him a great amount of money so long as she was happy. He had never been like this with anyone before.
"It's sweet of you to ask, but I'm not really that hungry. I could only eat half of any dessert I order. If you want something please don't hesitate to order it." Ivan answered.
Ivan ate slowly, taking time to enjoy the taste. "Yes, very thoughtful. That's probably why you didn't hit me for drawing your hand wrong." Ivan gave another smile. He had never smiled so much in one day, but there was something about this woman.
Ivan chuckled. "Gee, thanks. I've never been compared to a famous artist before." He said, joking. He had finished up his half of the cake by now and took to sitting back and looking at Scarlet.
