First it was Hazel that turned red, then Agatha followed shortly as she was soon drowning under an avalanche of offering that she did nothing to deserve, nor was probably worthy of. She quickly stuttered a clumsy answer.
"I...No I couldn't! That's what you do for a living, it would only be fair that I pay for what you offer...That's awfully generous of you, on all terms."
She looked quite happy though, even though it scared her a bit when she was, as she had lived on the pessimistic side so long, she was half expecting that there would be a catch. People never offer anything for free...At least that was how she was used to the world.
"T...The truth is I dont have any money right now, and your job offering seems like a gift from above. I love cooking and I would love to work in a shop...Even though I have to admit I have never worked before. I used to live in a mansion, but we didnt have any maid or servants and I mostly lived alone, so I'm quite used to cleaning up everything....I guess what I mean...Is that if you'd have me, I'd be thrilled to work for you."
Her frail smile seemed to quickly become a lot more restrained, as if she was preventing herself from being this happy
"I have no professional experience...I mean I did the dishes once for a society party, but I mostly did this. I stayed in the backroom for the whole evening...Not that there is anything wrong with that, I'd take any job you would offer at this point...But what I mean is...You might have to patient with me..."
