Agatha had finally reached the town. From there on she thought she could easily find the school, afterall, how big could this city be ? It was standing on an island. She would probably have seen everything in 10 minutes...She forgot that she was raised in a small rural town, and had never been to a big city before. The size of the town blew her away and soon she was lost, carrying a duffel bag on her shoulder, and pulling a huge case behind her. Agatha was tired in more way than another. She was hungry, sleepy, muddy, her feet hurt from all the walking she had to do and quite frankly, she dreamt of nothing but a good bath and a good bed. And sadly she wasnt seeing this happening anytime soon. It was already dark outside, the cafes and restaurants were full to the brim and she sometimes had to step around groups of people that were flooding the boardwalk.

The chubby bespectacled albinos had been out all day every since she hopped from that fishing boat in the early morning and now it was the evening and she was convinced she was a mess. Well, more of a mess than usual. She was wearing a pair of baggy pants as well as a tank top even though she looked very uncomfortable in it as it showed much more skin than she was used to...She had no choice but to don it as her usual turtleneck sweater would only make her sweat to death thanks to the heat. She looked tired, had bags under her eyes and was moving at a slow pace. Trying to find someone she could ask directions to...It seemed like the more she tried to reach the university, the further away she was getting...

Or maybe she was just tired.

She tried to stop at a café, but the number of customers intimidated her. Finally, realising she wouldnt be able to go anywhere like this, she resigned and entered one of the many café. She went to the counter to talk to the barman, a snotty looking fellow wearing a vest and a bowtie.

-Hyes? How can I help you mademoiselle?

He said with a thick french accent.

"I'm...Hello, I'm looking for directions...I'm searching the Starlight Academy."

-Are you going to order anything ?

"I...Well...Can I have a big glass of water please?"

She did look rather thirsty. The barman looked outraged.

-We are an establishement with standing mademoiselle. If you do not have any money I would advise you to le scram

Agatha sighed with disapointement, grabbing her things and turning back to exit the café.

Hazel was leaning back in her chair, sipping coffee. It had been a pretty average day, save for the abnormally large order of cheesecakes. And the guy only took half of it. So now she has like 8 different cheesecakes she needs to eat. Or find some other way to get rid of them. Either or.

After finally fitting them all in her fridge, Hazel decided to head to a cafe for a lovely coffee, which she found one that wasn't too busy and pretty close by. The French barman was a bit rude, but meh, coffee. It was nice, hot and delicious.

However, she was caught off guard when all of the sudden a rather shy and nervous looking girl walked in. More importantly, she had the white hair and red eyes of an Arlnest. She couldn't be, right? Either way, she needed help.

Getting up, Hazel walked over, kind of stumbling as she did. She got to the counter, leaning on it. "Listen le prick, a glass of water is free, if I am correct. So get the girl a water." She tried to sound imitating, and it worked pretty well. However, her size might have taken away from it.

Agatha was about to leave the café when a customer started to complain to the barman, as she turned to see who it was it was, she was shocked to realised it was another albinos. She would have dared to say it was like looking into a mirror, but then again, she was tired and sweaty and she wasnt. She was taller than her and also "heavier"...They did share glasses too. The snotty barman looked even snottier.

-Arumpf ! Why I never ! I dont tell you how to run your own shop now dont I mademoiselle?!

Agatha raised her hands, trying to appease the situation.

"T...That's okay, I was just leaving. I dont want to cause any trouble."

-Maybe I will give her that water you ask and maybe I will splash her in face, call it a "Washed up a la mode !"

She didnt know what this barman bisness was but he seemed quite adamant about not letting her stay. She did look like she came right out of the wood though...She had walked all day thorough the countryside afterall.

"I can do that." An ice owl appeared above the barman. It wasn't too large, but large enough to be a fair amount of water when she melted it over him. It was a bit petty, but it was pretty worth it. She would then turn and nod to Agatha, signaling their exit.

After they leave, Hazel will give them a small bow, leaning against the wall to balance herself. "Sorry about making a scene. Just an annoying guy. Anyway, I'm Agatha Hazel Arlnest, but I go by Hazel usually. Haven't seen you around before, are you new?"

Agatha eyes widened a bit as suddenly an owl made of ice exploded in water over the barman head, he was so soaked he his wig fell flat on the counter revealing his bald head.

-Sacrebleu ! Mais qu'est ce que celà ?!

He angrily went into the back room of the café to change. The albino had a small smile. Even though there was magic involved it was...Kind of funny ?Maybe she shouldnt laugh at the misfortune of other, but Hazel was bringing her the first whiff of fresh air since she landed here and she enjoyed it.

"Thank you for taking my side."

Agatha bowed back, in a purely japanese fashion as the witch could see her eyes were slit, showing her asian heritage. However when she presented herself she blinked a little.

"That's....Going to sound like a weird coincidence, but...My name is also Agatha. Agatha Kingsley. I am indeed new, I'm from the state of New york...Judging by your accent...You're coming from here...Too..."

She looked very worried.

"...I...What are the odds of something like this happening ?!"

Hazel was a bit dumbfounded. She was also from New York? Man, what a weird coincidence. She almost thought the girl was a clone or something until common sense kicked in. And unfortunately, Agatha was not another Arlnest. A bit disappointing, but oh well.

"Yeah, no problem for taking your side. As for everything else, I have no idea what the odds are. Anyway, welcome to the island. It'll take some time to get used to, especially if you aren't used to super natural beings, but it's a nice place. If you need someplace to stay or help with a tour, I can assist on that."

She wasn't too sure how much help the girl needed, but she did want to ask. Agatha seemed nice, albeit scared out of her mind. And if she was a normie, then it was probably best to help her out now rather then later when some prick found her.

Agatha looked a bit dumbfounded too. Her eyes were looking for ways to explain this but it was obvious she was failing. So strange. There was probably not that much people who were albinos and named Agatha on the island yet she found one, and on her first day. She never thought of herself as being lucky, but even though it was going against everything she believed in, she felt like it was worth buying a lottery ticket after this...Just in case this run in luck would rub on it. Even though they looked alike they were no clones, they looked like they had a very different life indeed.

"Thanks...Well I think there's no point in making a precise chart but...Let's say the odds were quite low."

She offered a clumsy smile to the girl

"I...Well it has been a long day...I would love a tour, but I have to admit I would also love to rest. Would it really be alright if stayed with you, at least for a couple of hours ? I dont want to impose."

Hazel nodded, straightening up. "Okay, we can head to my place and rest up. And don't worry about imposing, it's all fine." She crossed her legs, sitting while floating in the air. This was mainly to give her leg a rest before the walk back home. As she started in the direction of her home, she landed, walking with a awkward limp to her.

She figured Agatha was going to bring up the limp at some point. But she didn't care, it was a fair question to ask. "So, Agatha, I guess the big question for you is why did you decide to come here?" A pretty good question to get a conversation started. Might as well start somewhere with this so they don't just walk in silence.

Agatha looked at her starting to levitate off the ground. That was...Weird, no incantations, no spells, no rituals, just sheer will. She was about to ask her how she did this but soon she would start walking again...Was she not strong enough to levitate the whole way ? Better not ask too many questions then. She didnt want to upset someone who's been so nice to her, especially when she started to limp a bit. If she could levitate she would. It was better to leave that off the table for now. Trying her best to give a sympathetic smile, it quickly vanished when Hazel asked her why she was here. Ghosts of the past seem to haunt her thoughts as she said.

"I...Well I didnt really have much alternatives. Staying where I was was out of the question...I guess I had nothing to lose so I followed that trail and see if I could find a better life here. I have dabled in magic before, but it usually had dire consequenes for all party involved, I'm not quite used to see it used so...So carelessly to be honest with you."

She made a short pause before adding

"I guess I will be registering in the next school year...But I dont have any powers...And to be quite honest, I'm not willing do make pacts with old gods so I can start using magic...Not again."

Hazel nodded, listening carefully. Seemed like she had quite the unfortunate past, to say the least. She was a normal person at least, That'll give her some perspective in terms of what to expect from her at least. And maybe help her realize that magic can be good.

"Yeah, I understand. Making a pact with anyone is usually bad news. I haven't personally dabbled in old god magic and whatnot, but my old master has. A definite no no. And it's fine if you don't have magic, there are plenty of humans here without it. Kind of a breath of fresh air in some ways."

She paused, slowing down a bit. Mainly cause she almost tripped. Hazel did manage to catch herself, then continued on.

"As for using it carelessly, maybe. For me, I was born with magic. It's just like being able to lift my arms or talk. Though my whole family were magic users, so it came naturally to me. Sorry if I freak you out with it though, given your past."
