"Just don't stop swimming forward, no matter what happens." He lead her into the water and drew his blade, ready for the assault of mer creatures that would inevitably come. His priority was keeping her safe since she couldn't see. He figured there wouldn't be enough of a break between the waves of mermaids to cast a Healing Light.

Rami nodded, and then dove into the water. She propelled herself through the water with heavy foot kicks and expert arm movements. She continued to watch the blurred movements of the mermaids. She continued to swim forward, and said in a loud voice to Paul, "There are three fairly weak mermaids coming at you from the left!" before dealing with two that were coming at her. She kicked one in the face, only to begin to be dragged down by the second.

She lashed out with her katana, and tried not to wince as it connected, sharp edge, with the mermaid's head. The mermaid's grip went slack, and Rami kicked herself to the surface again, continuing to move forward.
