"Hrmph... you and me both." noted Nyota

Tired of having to hold an empty cup for so long, Nyota squatted down and placed the empty beverage container on the concrete they stood. Nyota stood right back up, she cared not for her little act of littering. She had done worse things after all.

"So its Corvin huh? I like that name. I guess it works. Anyway, if you two are going to be all social you might as as well exchange numbers or something you dorks~" commented Nyota in a causal manner.

Nyota then eyes the two of them, putting on a friendly appearance to hide her slight jealousy of of Corvin for being the focus of Lila's attention. Its really stupid but its there. She had only just meet the girl and already Nyota wanted her to more involved in her life... but then again she hardly knew her so why should so even care so much?

"So... yeah... friends are great... err... do I get an friend invite to this too? Feeling a little left out here."

(Worry not! Delays happen but the thought is appreciated :) )

Lila was glad Cor was considering enrolling at Starlight Academy. It really would be good for him and - didn't all minors have to attend school? Despite Cor's benefits from going to school, Lila was really feeling comfortable around him, unlike her first friend in Manta Carlos whom she was still adjusting to... And then obviously there was Nyota. She was the same. There was hope for a great friendship between the three of them, if there was any luck involved.

"Oh! Nyota, I forgot to ask. Do you go to school at the Academy?" It was weird, how she had never asked that question. She had just assumed that every child of school age on the island went there. But maybe this was not the case.If neither of them went to school there it would be so much harder to develop stronger relationships with the two of them. But anyway, she would deal with that situation as it came.

When Cor revealed to them that his real name was Corvin, it became clear that although the group had only met for a short while trust was already emerging. Not long before, Cor had been private about his name and now he was willing to tell them. It seemed that luck was going their way, thought Lila. The name Corvin was different. She hadn't heard of anyone called that before, but maybe it was a magic shadow-name? It sounded old-fashioned, traditional. But Cor didn't seem that way. "I like it," she commented, "But Cor sounds better for you." It really did. Had he introduced himself as Corvin, she would've gotten a completely different first impression, even though she tried to tell herself names made no difference. They just always seemed to leave a lasting effect of the person.

Lila liked nicknames, though. They made a name more personalized, and gave the person more control over who people knew them as. Deciding now that it was name sharing time, she said, "Okay. My name is... not actually Lila. Its Delilah." It didn't sound much different really, but she had decided from a young age that 'Delilah' didn't suit her. Maybe this was the same with Cor?

Nyota's comment on exchanging phone numbers, though a casual joke and opportunity to call them dorks, (something Lila preferred not to be called but in this scenario didn't mind) was actually a fair idea. It would help them connect in case he chose not to enroll at the academy. "Um, yeah, we should do that," She said, taking her backpack off of her shoulder and unzipping the pocket in which her phone was in. She hadn't used it much on the island, mostly to call her parents. "Do you have a phone?" She asked Cor.

"So... yeah... friends are great... err... do I get an friend invite to this too? Feeling a little left out here." Reminded Nyota. Lila found this weird at first. She had assumed she was part of the group too. "Yeah, you were invited from the start!" She said. Why would she ask that question anyway?

Then it dawned on her. She had turned all of her attention to Cor from the start of the performance. She had directed questions at him, offered him friendship and exchanged phone numbers with him. She had never really paused to talk to Nyota. This was unintentional, of course, as Cor had been the center of attention since his show. She had excluded her. "Oh! I'm so sorry- I didn't know you felt that way. But obviously you're with us now. Friends, right?

((Sorry about the extra long post. Turns out this part was very plot heavy for Lila :) ))

Cor tilted his head as Nyota sets the cup down, but shrugs. No big deal. Blinking as they say they like his name, the boy smiles a tad shyly, nodding. "Thanks...Your names are kinda cool also." Snorting as Nyota calls them dorks, the boy tilts his head to the side at the suggestion. As Lila asks if he had a phone, he shakes his head. "Nope, haven't got the money."

Cor glances at Nyota as she says she's feeling a tad left out, grinning slightly sheepishly."Ah...uhm...sorry,Nyota. Didn't mean to leave ya out.Yeah, you're invited to this friend thing." He still couldn't quite believe they'd all three already became friends. The boy didn't think it'd be that easy...Hopefully they won't be too bummed if he decided to continue his search...though maybe he would stay here, and check out that school.

(Ok! Thanks.^^ No worries, Phoebe.^^)

"Hey now... don't sweat over it. I was only half joking but... well... hey... I guess we are all friends now. Its... kinda nice to be part of group for change." commented Nyota as she looked to her two new friends.

Seriously... she spend all of her childhood being an exile among her peers and here she is standing with two strangers that she is already calling friends? Is this how all friendships suppose to start? Maybe they should all do something together later on.

"Right so... ummm... well... we should all do something together some time... well... after we figure out away to get in touch with you. Like... I dunno... magical communication spells maybe? Is that thing here?" questioned Nyota as was left scratching her head.

Lila did want to stay friends with the two of them. She had finally found people that she truly believed could become very close to her. Her face brightened as she talked to them, made small talk and discussed things. This was the sort of friendship she had always valued the most.

Once they had all smoothed over the seemingly complicated concept of being 'friends,' Nyota suggested they keep in touch. Perfect! Lila thought. She had wanted to as well. "Well, I'll always be around the place. I board at the school, so just come by if you need me." She wanted to figure out a way they could all keep in touch but there were some obvious restrictions regarding it. "The only other way I could think of would be the post office - I heard they deliver really quickly. Unless you guys have computers, or something, but Cor doesn't have a phone..."

Taking her own phone out she checked the time. "Oh wow, it's getting late. I should probably get back to my dorm now. It was really nice meeting you two." And as she said her goodbyes, she walked off into the bustling city streets, not knowing whether she would ever see her two new friends again.

((Just realised my other message didn't post! So sorry, but I just finished by characters part off. Reply if you want or just leave it at that.))
