"But there's plenty of water in the big puddles, why don't they use that..?" she wonders. "My hand feels normal, I think." she nods, picking up her basket. "What now?"

That was a large question to Doll. The school was huge; she had not even looked over half of it. Just then, a large question struck her. "What's a dorm? And a cafeteria?" she asks. Some person had told her about them. But she didn't know where they were, or even what they were.

"There's plenty of water, but the clouds have to get the water somehow. So it can only rain after they get the water," he explained. Real, scientific explanations would have been easier, but she never would have comprehended.

"What now? Thats up to you." It wasn't Jazariel's choice. He wasn't the dominant one between the two of them.

More questions for question time, figures. "A dorm is basically a place to live. A cafeteria is where you eat. It's rather simple."

Doll blinks. "What's.. eating?" she asks, thinking hard. She didn't eat, she charged, or so the bad man said. Like a battery or something. She just stuck her finger into one of the two black holes on the white panels, and wham! Full charge. But Doll knew nothing else. "Why is the sky blue..?" she wonders absentmindedly, staring blankly out the window.

Doll never had a need to eat or drink, more than she had a need to sleep. She ran on an electrical battery of sorts located where, if she were a living girl, her heart should have been. Ironic?

((I can't picture Doll being the dominant one. xD If you let her, she'd stare out the window allll day if she could.))

Her curiosity was absolutely relentless! Zukrel hadn't even given him a human to guard, someone normal - he had to be stuck with a girl who knew absolutely nothing, someone who he was damn near certain would get on his final nerves one day. He didn't answer her question immediately, contemplating whether he wanted to.

"Doll," he began, "would you rather I answer everything, or would you prefer to observe and figure it out for yourself? And as for the sky being blue... simple, beautiful things like that should be cherished and enjoyed, not questioned." He reached out a hand to lightly ruffle her hair.

Doll's hair would feel strangely thread-like. Her face clouds. "I don't think I can observe very well. Can I?" she wonders, wandering off in a random direction, her basket in her hands. Her look shows that she's far off thinking, which was unusual, considering the world was full of questions that were unanswered.

She starts down one of the long hallways, still quiet. What had caused this strange wordless-ness? Even Doll herself didn't know. The hall seemed oddly quiet, as everyone was most likely outside. At least, hopefully.

Even her hair didn't feel like hair. How could she have been alive, though? Experiments like this weren't supposed to exist. Jazariel remained silent and removed his hand from her head, watching her as she began to wander off. He remained at least a yard behind her. "All you have to do to observe is listen, watch, and connect," he said.

He continued to follow her, unaware of where she was going but knowing he had no other choice. If he didn't stick to her like glue he would have no hope for redemption. The silence was a welcome change, a wonderful relief, but he couldn't help but find it uncharacteristic of her. "Are you feeling well, Doll?" he asked.

"C-Connect? How so?" she asks, not really expecting him to answer this time. All the sudden, she felt tired. She wasn't exactly sure why, but as a vision crossed her eyes, she was certain: It was just a simple image, her hand reach it to an electrical outlet, and other arms reaching to stop her. How strange. Wasn't charging a good thing.

"Do you charge?" she asks, deciding to make certain.

"Just reach a conclusion," Jazariel said. He was teaching her how to think... he felt like a parent more than anything else. Was this how it was supposed to feel? Ugh, either way he didn't like it. This wasn't his job! His job was just to keep her out of trouble! And with how naive she was she was bound to get into too much trouble.

His eyebrows lifted at her next question. "What do you mean charge?" he asked.

"Oh.." Doll frowns. She felt like she was annoying. She wasn't evens sure what that definition was, yet. All she knew was that she got an air of a taunt feeling in the air. Her stitches could sense it. She starts to walk faster, then abruptly stops.

Doll looks the at the lower wall, pointing to an electrical plug. She reaches an outstretched hand towards it. "Like this.." she says, kneeling down to reach the outlet better.

Jazariel watched as she leaned down to the electric plug, his eyes widening immediately. He leaned down, grabbing her by the arm somewhat roughly and pulling her away from the plug. Was she insane?! Was her brain made of fluff?! "You'll kill yourself if you do that," he hissed. "You'll shock yourself and fry, what's wrong with you? Of course I don't do that."

He released her, trusting that his short scolding would be enough to make her stop.
