The Twins Need New Friends

So Azalea and Rose haven't been in the city long, and could use some local friends, especially (but certainly not limited to) other college students. I'm up for most anything right now as I just want to get started with some kind of character interaction (I'm sure I'll develop more specific goals for characters as time progresses but right now I just want to get my feet wet, as it were).

Both their profiles are in my sig (they're not hard to find as they're my only characters so far, heh). Reply to this thread or send me a message if you have a character who you think might get along with either or both of them. The twins do almost everything together but they do have divergent interests and don't literally do everything together, so I'm open to threads with both of them or just one of them.

Hey there!

So two quick things to note before I post:

I'm a full-time grad student and I'm finishing up my internship. This means I might post every day for a few weeks OR trickle into a state where I'm only posting once a week or so. I often can't predict this, so I like to give the disclaimer that if you're looking for a more reliable RP partner I might not be the best person to plot with right now and there's no hard feelings if you'd prefer someone more consistent.

Now that that's out of the way...

I'm thinking that either Kaz or Ven/Moon Moon (links in signature) might be a good possibility to throw at the twins.

Kaz is also fae. He's not very out going and he tends to sabotage all of his friendships because he needs misery to survive. If he became friends with either of the twins, there's a chance he'd try to ruin the relationship.

Ven aka Moon Moon, on the other hand, is an outgoing ray of sunshine who loves all people. He's currently student council president (for like two more weeks lol) so it's plausible he could introduce himself and volunteer to take them out to have fun in the city/woods/whatever.

That being said, I generally prefer to thread with one character at a time, so if you think either of them are a good possibility I'd leave it up to you to decide which character would be a better match.

Also there's no pressure if either of these characters aren't quite what you're looking for! I understand completely but really wanted to throw them at you just incase. :)

Hi Red! I appreciate your up-front-ness RE: your schedule. Knowing that, I'd still be interested in RPing with you, potentially on a more relaxed/slow paced thread.

I like to RP with the twins together a lot, particularly because I like to show threads where these characters (or other versions of them from other RP sites) are together to my irl twin sister, because it cheers her up some when she's upset we don't get to spend enough time together in the "real world." That said, I'm perfectly open to having threads where they're apart as well.

For 1 on 1 threads, Rose's cheerful and playful demeanor might match well with Ven/Moon Moon. And Under the right circumstances, Azalea would probably be drawn to Kaz out of a desire to help him somehow. I'm sure this would cause Azalea no end of torment, especially since Kaz not having a soul would make their trance ability useless to help him. This would probably cause Azalea a good deal of misery which Kaz could feed on, so...that could certainly be an interesting interplay to see go down, if a bit dark.

Ultimately I'd be up for either of these ideas.

Ahhh yeah, I definitely prefer threads apart. I'm terrible at keeping interactions with multiple characters separate @_@

I'm usually a self-described edge-lord in that I almost always gravitate towards LETS DO THE DARK PLOT.

However, I have to admit....my MoonMoon muse is super high right now, so if you'd be up for doing the moon moon/Azalea thread first, I'd be down for that!

Where would it be most likely for them to run into each other?

Heh, sounds good to me (though it was Rose who I said would probably interact best with Moon Moon actually).

Let's see...Ven might could bump into the twins sparring on school grounds (either with magic or just practicing swordplay), but then Azalea could have a class they had to run off to (one of the small handful they don't take together), leaving Rose with free time and no plans on how to spend it. Would that be workable for you?
