"Everything alright?"

Dean jerked slightly, quickly shoving the papers and photo back inside the envelope and stuffing it in his back pocket. He felt a slight chill, almost 100% positive that the girl in the photo, was in fact Selia...killing a guy. He felt like the whole 'adventure' of theirs was some sort of lie or something. Part of him regretted even looking into that stupid envelope, but his curiosity had gotten to the best of him. And now his mind was swarming with mixed feelings towards someone he truly cared about, and how she might possibly kill him. She already lied to him once, who knows how many other times she's lied to him?

"Um...yeah. No, every thing's fine," Dean said, trying hard to keep his cool, especially after finding out that Selia was a killer. Of course he could be getting this all wrong, but until Selia could clear it all up for him, he had to believe the 'evidence'. But, should Dean confront her immediately, or wait? No, he had to talk about it with her right away.

Dean pulled himself up and made his way over to Selia's room. She was standing by the window, looking out as if she saw something. He stood by the doorway, one hand clutching the envelope in his back pocket, while he leaned against the other one. "Hey, Selia...I need to -" Dean was cut short by a sudden knock on Selia's door. He grunted, slightly annoyed by the interruption, but also slightly relieved so that he wouldn't have to confront her about it just yet. Opening the door, Dean was surprised to find John on the other side, smiling his creepy smile, though it quickly vanished when he realized the Dean had opened the door, instead of Selia.

"Oh, Dean. I could have sworn this was Selia's room," John said, peeking inside, his smile instantly returning once he spotted Selia.

Dean looked puzzled and asked, "What are you doing here, John?"

"Well, obviously you have forgotten about the local tour we agreed on. Selia, are you ready?"

"Um...yeah. No, every thing's fine,"

She cocked her head slightly. Something seemed wrong but she didn't know what, so she did her best to ignore it. She continued looking out the window, till she heard footsteps and saw in the corner of her eye Dean standing in the doorway. She turned to face him. Her bluish green eyes showed a faint look of confusion when he spoke.

"Hey, Selia...I need to -"

The knock snapped all attention she towards Dean and to the door. She was taken by surprise of it, and for a moment she couldn't think why someone would knock at the door, then she remembered the tour, and that John was going to be coming to get them. She followed Dean to the door, and stood a few feet away from him.

"Oh, Dean. I could have sworn this was Selia's room,"

She stayed silent, and looked up at John when he looked at her. She smiled slightly when he did at her. She figured it would be best to act friendly still, instead of showing her discomfort of the village. She thought about the tour then, and what John said they would visit, Smithy Center, popular restaurant Steel, City Hall. Her thoughts drifted to the word Steel, but believed it had nothing to do with the Steel she wanted to get information about, after all, John had said it was a restaurant.

"What are you doing here, John?"

"Well, obviously you have forgotten about the local tour we agreed on. Selia, are you ready?"

She looked at Dean, and walked to stand beside him, then turned her gaze unto John. "Yeah, I'm ready." She said calmly, and glanced at Dean again for a second.

"Yeah, I'm ready."

John smiled, and before Dean could say anything, John said with a big smile, [yellow=yellow]"Excellent! Now follow me, Selia...and Dean." Dean grimaced, annoyed for more than one reason. Not only was his opinion towards being ready to take the tour completely ignored (not that he even got a chance to say it), but John, for some reason, always acted as though Dean was never there or surprised that he was.

Dean shoved his hands deep in his pockets and followed behind John, 'annoyed' clearly written all over his face.

"So, Selia, I was thinking we start with the Smithy Center, that way we can not only meet a few of the locals, we can always have a bite to eat at Steel, I am quite starving. Aren't you? You must be after you're long tough journey here. Swimming through the ocean can really give you an appetite." Dean had almost completely tuned out what John was saying, reviewing everything that was going on within his own mind, which was already as jumbled up as a 2000 piece puzzle.

"Excellent! Now follow me, Selia...and Dean."

She wondered why John didn't seem to like Dean, and only acted like she was here, it confused her a little, but still she tried to figure it out, but it just gave her a headache, with all the things she had to think about, like whether or not to tell Dean about the false memories, and what was wrong that made her feel odd in this village. She followed John, but first looked over at Dean, sort of knowing how he must feel always being ignored by John. She turned her head, looking at where they walked.

"I like that idea. It seems forever since I've last eaten. So I suppose we can go there first, unless Dean wants to see the mayor first?" She said, figuring she'd try to involve Dean more, instead of herself talking with John, who made her feel uncomfortable.

She followed along, one of her hands strayed to her fighting knife, her fingers caressed the fine hilt, hoping to find some comfort in it.

"I like that idea. It seems forever since I've last eaten. So I suppose we can go there first, unless Dean wants to see the mayor first?"

Dean knew what Selia was doing. She was trying to include him. It didn't really matter in the end, since John always tried to make sure Dean was left out. "Oh, good. Food is very important. Don't worry about him. I'm sure Dean's need to see the mayor can wait until after lunch. After all, who wants to see Mayor Smith on an empty stomach? Right, Dean?" Dean looked at John, he could tell there was something more sinister behind his creepy frozen smile. He knew John wasn't who he said he was, the only problem was actually figuring it out and being 100% certain.

"Yeah, right. Whatever." Dean muttered, adding a few curse words under his breath, barely audible. Out of the corner of his eye, Dean watched as Selia's hand slid towards her knives. The sight of them instantly brought back the photo of what could possibly be Selia murdering an innocent man. He didn't want to believe the picture, the documents. But everything in there pointed to Selia. He knew he needed to confront her, he just couldn't do it now. Definitely not in front of or even near John.

But john would never leave them to alone...ever again.

Selia sighed quietly when John spoke before Dean. She had the urge again to just punch John in the face and leave the place behind, and maybe even just return to the academy and forget about what she wanted to do, even if it might her father coming when she was finished with her training to start her job of killing. Her eyes seemed to dulled at the thought.

"Yeah, right. Whatever."

She continued to look ahead, her thoughts wandering more and more. She felt starving, and couldn't wait to eat, but she knew she had to be cautious, nothing was normal here. Nothing was normal for her. Before her mother died, Selia did have a normal, but she was young then, and didn't have much time to enjoy a normal life, once her father took her in, her normal life crumpled to dust. Nothing felt normal, not the academy, not the other schools she's been too and certainly not here.

She removed her hand from the blade, and looked at John.

"What exactly is in the Smithy Center?" She asked.

"What exactly is in the Smithy Center?"

John turned his head to glance at Selia for a moment, smiling his typical eerie smile, before looking up ahead once again. Boy did she ask a lot of questions, and John was getting quite annoyed with her, but of course he didn't show a single sign of annoyance. He couldn't possibly blow his cover. Not yet. "Well my dear Selia, the Smithy Center is where all of our more popular stores reside. In the Smithy Center you will find such stores as J.S. Fashion, TrueB Candies, our infamous Steel Diner, along with several other stores. Of course, if there is time, we shall visit all of them if you would like, Selia."

Dean remained silent, not at the least bit interested in what the Smithy Center was. Part of him just wanted to leave, to teleport himself out of the strange village, away form everyone. Just to think things over. But he couldn't. He made a promise to Selia, and no matter what doubts he had about them, he wasn't going to break his promise.

She stayed silent as John explained. Right now, she didn't believe that there could even be a place that could hold all those stores. The village didn't seem that big, but maybe there was, but the hotel was ghostly, like Dean had said, if there were stores and such here, you'd think the hotel would be fuller, more active, or something. She considered this a moment, and rubbed her hand on a bruise that was on her arm that she hadn't noticed before.

"Probably not. I feel like just food at the moment." She said. "John, are you related to the mayor?" She asked. Since they both had the same last name as it seemed to her. She didn't know if it was the best thing to ask, but she wanted to know. She was curious a lot of the times, especially when there was someone here to could answer some of her question, as long as she didn't show to much suspicions.

"John, are you related to the mayor?"

The was a long silence after Selia had asked her question. He knew she would eventually ask it, so he said, "Well he is - oh! Here we are!" John picked up his pace a bit and stood in front of a large wooden door with the name STEEL written across it with huge red blocky letters. John pushed the door open and ushered Selia and Dean inside.

The place wasn't large, but it wasn't that small either. There were very few people eating inside, and the waiters were simply wandering around as if they were doing something, when in fact they were doing absolutely nothing. A young female walked up to them, using the same strange smile as John. She was holding three menus in her arms, and spoke in a slow, almost slight robotic voice. "Hello, my name is Jane. I will be your waitress this afternoon. Please, follow me." Jane led the three to a small square table in the center of the restaurant. Jane handed the three of them the menus and walked away.

"So, decided what you want to eat yet, Dean?" John asked.
"I just got the menu. I've barely even looked at what they have to serve yet, John," Dean growled. How was he supposed to know if Jane had just handed them out? And since when did John ask him something before asking Selia? He rolled his eyes and began to read the menu. There was a grand total of five things to choose from. Smithy Burger, Pork Rice, Steel Salad, Cheesy Sandwich and Fishy Potatoes. What a selection.

"Well he is - oh! Here we are!"

Selia frowned but decided not to press any further. She had other questions she would like to ask, but that would have to wait as it seemed, though, that disappointed her. She stared at the letters and felt a slight shudder go down her spine. She glanced back out at the villagers before she walked into the restaurant, and already knew something was odd. She stared at the waitress for a long moment, and was a little weirded out how the person seemed to act like a drone.

"Hello, my name is Jane. I will be your waitress this afternoon. Please, follow me."

She continued to watch "Jane" till she started leading them to a table, then her eyes wandered around the room, taking it all in, and often staying on one of the people longer, then she looked around again. When they reached the table, she sat down, rather stiffly though, on her guard, often her hand strayed to one of her weapons, but then she put her hands on her lap.

"So, decided what you want to eat yet, Dean?"
"I just got the menu. I've barely even looked at what they have to serve yet, John,"

Her head snapped up from the menu and she looked at John, then over at Dean, her eyes seemed calm, but she was wondering why John decided to speak to Dean now. She sort of liked it how all the attention wasn't on her anymore, but she was also a little... uneasy about this.

She looked down again at the menu, and then they narrowed, thinking it odd how there wasn't much of a selection. "You said this was a more...popular restaurant, so why is there so little to choose from?" She asked John.
