It's a package! Inside is a rather large jar filled with candy, a box of Christmas cookies, and a vintage-style nutcracker carved in the image of the Mouse King as from the ballet The Nutracker, ironically. Along with it, inside is a Christmas card that says:

When opened, it reveals Rilakkuma of different sizes. At the very bottom of the last giant box, a stack of papers written in Vincenzo’s traditional serial killer magazine cutouts manner. They’re riddles, and when pieced together, they’re clues about various criminals that have fallen out of the radar. There’s a magnifying glass with a kiss mark on it.
