Jamie blinked at the entire party, this was fucking crazy. They were actually going to go through with this? Following quickly along, the blonde entered the store and looked around. Loshi had wasted no time in taking the soda and Sam was creating a distraction. Jamie wasn't sure what to do but they would be damned if they didn't get a mystery flavor slushie. Just because they were feeling petty about being turned into a common criminal they picked the most sour flavor for Sam. They would just have to make sure they had no option.

They were vaguely aware of all the cameras around the store, would it be better to just reach out and switch them off? Thinking about it for the time that it took to put the cups in a cup holder, they decided against it. They would have to get to close to the camera and risk having their face seen up close. Considering that the camera by the door already seen them it was stupid. They were just walking around with the slushies contemplating whether or not to pay for them.

What was the point of stealing in this world? Everything was much more accessible it felt wrong.

Sam gave an apologetic smile at the store clerk and slipped her a twenty on his way out after his friends had more or less cleared the door. "Yer a vision of beauty and patience, Sandra. Thanks so much. I'll see ye later." Blowing her a kiss on his way out the door, Sam ran and beckoned for his friends to follow.

He stopped a good half block away from the store, panting and cursing his smoking habit. Looking at his mates as they came to his resting spot, he grinned and wiped his brow. "See lads? Nothin' to it."

"Now let's go take over the dorm lounge and find somethin' excitin' to watch. Aye? Aye!"

Nodding, loshi stuck to Sam like glue once he left the store. He could tell that he Charmed the Shopkeep. He was a talented Bard. Did he Multiclass?

Staring at the panting boy, he nodded at his response. A movie would be nice too. What sort of things were available?

Nothing to it? It didn’t feel that way. Hal felt like there were judging eyes watching him all around, as though everything knew that he was now a criminal. He looked to Sam who seemed to be so cool about the whole situation. Shame hung on him but he nodded and attempted a smile anyway.

He gave a short nod to the movie. Since living with his mother, Hal had never actually been to the dorms before either. The idea of going back to pay the woman lingered but what would they all think if he just chickened out? Plus, it would land them all in trouble. Usually conversation came quite easily to him but now, he fell silent, following behind the others.

Jamie had confrontation and after the whole stealing thing their mind was racing. Sam’s declaration of how easy it was caused Jamie’s eyes to narrow. “You didn’t do anything, we’re the ones that can land in jail or whatever.” They huffed and started to walk back to the school. This was ridiclous. A part of them worried about the sirens appearing suddenly. Would the shop keeper watch the camera tapes and then call the cops.

“A movie does sound nice though.” They started walking towards the dorm. Their earlier annoyance with other boy temporarily forgotten. Movies were something that Jamie could enjoy from the comfort of their dorm. No more wild adventures for the day.
