She layed in her bed looking out the window thinking about Sonlath. She hoped he wouldn't leave like all the other people she cared about. She heard someone in the doorway and looked towards the door hoping it was Sonlath. But saw some girl instead. She smiled... "You can come in if you wish."

October nodded when Sonlath said he wanted to see how this turned out. She didn't say anything, and went to go look for the girl with the ankle in a cast. She soon found the room, and stood in the doorway, looking at the girl inside. She returned the smile and stepped inside, still looking at her. "Hi," she said. "Thanks for saying I could come in... I'm October, but you can call me Oct, or some other shortened version of the name if you want to." She smiled a bit more, hoping she wasn't going to end up annoying the girl or anything. She looked at Moria's ankle. "Are you feeling alright?" she asked her.

"I'm Moria..." She smiled not really wanting to get into nicknames and stuff with this stranger and besides her only nickname was what some people who hated and pretended to love her called her... Moron... She hated them for that.... "Estatically well..." She looked quite happy she looked like the happiest person in the world even after being in pain and having a broken leg and stuff she felt very well.... She couldn't keep her mind off of Sonlath...

"It's nice to meet you, Moria," October said. She looked around the room quickly, just to know what it looked like. She returned her attention right back to the other girl when she spoke again, and blinked for a moment, head tilting to the side somewhat. She was alright already? But she smiled, figuring that was a good thing. "I'm glad you're feeling well," she said. "Is it ok if I ask how you hurt your ankle?" She paused for a moment, then quickly added, "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

She remained standing, even though there were a few chairs in the room. She didn't feel like asking if she could sit down, and she preferred to stand anyway.

"Well I stupidly accidently stepped on a old well that was boarded up and fell in... and well actually that's only part of it... it's a long story... Well this boy helped me out of the well against my will.... Do you know he looks quite handsome when he is upset... Anyway after that he sent me to the nurses on a paper airplane... Alone. I felt upset because here I wanted someone to talk to so I jumped off and summoned water to catch me. That's when I realized my ankle was only sprained. So I put a ripped piece of jacket as a cast... Oh dear... I didn't ask if you wanted to hear the story....." She said with a sigh... "Do you mind listening to a long story?"

October listened as Moria explained. She was a bit concerned when she said she had fell into a well, and wanted to ask if she was sure she was alright, but didn't want to interrupt. She stayed silent, and when she heard the girl say that Sonlath was handsome when he was upset, she fought the urge to raise her eyebrows. She didn't say anything or do anything, mostly because she didn't know what to do. She hadn't known him for too long, and didn't know him too well, so she couldn't really agree or disagree to that. Besides, she still didn't want to interrupt.

She nodded for the rest of what she said. She nodded sometimes when people were talking, and in this case, she was nodding to say she was listening to what she was saying. She shook her head with a smile when she asked if she minded hearing the story. "Nope, I don't mind at all," she said. "But, are you sure you're ok? I mean, you fell into a well... you're sure you're ankle's only sprained?" Concern showed in her violet eyes, hoping that Moria was really alright. Since the girl had stopped talking, she decided it was alright to ask.

"That's not all of the story... You see after that I limped along into the forest I wanted to not go to the doctors because I don't like them. So I sat on a log and thought about how much I hated my life. And there came a light... and then I noticed a dark looming shadow. And I got up forgetting about my ankle and ran to warn the person with the light about the figure which was obiviously a vampire. The vampire instead lunged at me and I send a stream of water at him and the stranger sent paper darts at the vampire's back.

The vampire fell to the ground the stranger approched and I found the stranger was actually the boy I met before who helped me out of the well. Then me and he exchanged a few words. And suddenly the vampire jumped up and in super speed grabbed me from behind and put his strong arms around my neck. He lifted me off the ground and I tried to fight back but couldn't I finally got my nails under his skin and I sent water pulsing through his veins to drown him in water so he couldn't live. I couldn't get enough air and I passed out.

When I woke up I was in his arms.... He carried me it was the first time I was ever carried.... I was never carried not even as a baby. His arms.... Oh October they felt so loving.... I never felt so wonderful. Then he brought me in the hospital he even risked the nurse smelling the liquor on his breath. October I've never had someone do so much for me. Then he came back.... Oh October."
A tear came to her eye... "He does care for me... And... I care for him... But I'm afraid he doesn't know how much I care for him... October... have you ever been in love?" She asked her earnestly...

October listened patiently as she spoke. Violet eyes widened somewhat she mentioned the vampire. Vampires are real? she thought to herself. She'd grown up with parents telling her it wasn't real... and it was probably just so she wouldn't get scared. And, of course, she was getting kind of scared now, but she did her very best to hide it. Oh, great... She sighed inwardly, but continued listening, still not wanting to interrupt.

Her eyes went wide when Moria said she passed out. How could she be alright so very quickly? She'd had a vampire attack her, passed out, and hurt her ankle.

She smiled somewhat when she described what it was like to be in his arms. She felt bad that the girl had never been carried, but decided that she wouldn't say anything about that incase it brought up painful memories. She paid close attention, keeping her eyes on Moria even though she wanted to look out the door to see if Sonlath was anywhere nearby, but stopped herself from doing so. What Moria said that Sonlath did sounded so nice of him to do, and she was glad he had done that.

"He does care for me... And... I care for him... But I'm afraid he doesn't know how much I care for him... October... have you ever been in love?"

She blinked for a moment, her face going red from being asked if she had ever been in love. She looked down for a few moments, silent. She slowly shook her head and looked back up to look at the other girl. "No, I've never been in love..." she said. Her face was returning to its normal color, and wasn't as red as before. "Not yet, at least..." She was silent for a few moments, remembering what she had said earlier about all she had gone through before. "I hate to kind of change the subject off of love, but... are you sure that you're alright? I mean, just with everything that happened to you earlier..." she asked softly, very softly, and very concerned as well.

"October I feel wonderful now... Even after everything that's happened I feeel wonderful it feels so much like a fairytale. October he... he... cares.... The only thing that saddens me is he drinks and smokes... I hope that will change eventually... But I've never had anyone treat me so wonderfully. I can't help feeling like I don't deserve it." As she said on her face was a dreamy smile she never felt so wonderful. As she thought about Sonlath again.... Then on the last part her face grew more serious and solumn... then a smile came across her face again.

October nodded when she said it was like a fairytale. Well, I can only imagine... she thought to herself. But I think a fairytale is probably what it's like, anyway... A sad looks came over her face when she mentioned him drinking and smoking, and she nodded her head. "Yeah... that upsets me too..." she said quietly. "But I wouldn't tell him that..." She sighed. She knew that she should probably work on speaking her mind more often, but she didn't want people to yell at her if she said the things she thought. And, well, with this situation she was almost sure Sonlath wouldn't be happy if she mentioned his habits.

"...I can't help feeling like I don't deserve it."

She blinked for a few moments. "Why is that? If I may ask, of course..." she said quietly. "You seem nice... why wouldn't you deserve someone to love or care for you?"
