"Because... all my life I've been treated like dirt..." A tear slipped down her cheek... "And now I've found the one that makes me feel so wonderful and happier then anyone in the world. And I feel like I have no right to be this happy and this well... to put it in what I think and feel, in love." She said with a sad look in her eyes... "And I'm afraid... I'm afraid he'll leave and never come back."

"Because... all my life I've been treated like dirt..."

October frowned, feeling bad for her. She listened as Moria continued speaking, and nodded to show she was listening. It was habit to do that, and she didn't even realize she did it sometimes. She smiled somewhat when she said that she said it was love, and was hoping that this would work out for her. Since, after all, she said that she'd been treated like dirt all her life...

"I hope it works for you, Moria," she said. She knew that if Sonlath left her and didn't come back, that the girl would be upset, but for right now, she couldn't think of any words to make her feel better. Besides, it hadn't happened yet... she could comfort her when it happened. "I really, really do. I'm sorry that you were treated so badly all of you're life... and you're really nice, and I think you do deserve to be happy. Even if you don't think so, I do..." She smiled somewhat, hoping she could at least make the girl feel a little bit better, although she might not be able to. "And if something bad ever happens between you two, you can come to me. I'm not good with advice... but... I'll listen." She smiled somewhat.

She smiled... "I don't think he'd leave.... I hope..." She said the last part with a solumness... She smiled lightly at the girl... "Thank you... I'll look for you if it happens. I only hope and pray it doesn't." She said looking down... She smiled again... "Well at least I'll have some happy memories to look at..."

October nodded her head in agreement when she said she hoped he wouldn't leave. "I hope it doesn't happen, too," she said. It was mostly for Moria's sake; the girl had probably gone through so much pain, and in October's eyes, she did deserve to be happy. "Yeah," she said, and nodded again when Moria said that she would at least have some happy memories to look back on.

"Well, again, I do hate to change the subject... but Moria, how old are you?" she asked. She was just curious; they looked to be about the same age, so she was just wondering if they were.

"I'm 12...." She said softly... She looked at October and smiled lightly. "How old are you?" She said sweetly, her eyes showed happiness that she was making another friend. But she knew if she ever lost Sonlath... She didn't know what she'd do.

"I'm twelve too," October said with a smile. "I'll be thirteen in a couple of months, though." She was glad that Moria would possibly turn out to be another friend, because so far, she hadn't met too many people here, and needed to. Especially people that were her age; she didn't think there would be too many people that were twelve here. "What are your powers, if I may ask? Are they water? Because you mentioned the water thing and the jacket... mine are ice." She smiled again and gave a slight nod.

"Mine is water... I almost drowned many years ago when I discovered it. It was quite funny." She said with a light laugh. "So....why'd you come in here anyway?" she said asking the question that had been nagging her... Why would a girl just happen to come into her room?

October blinked for a moment, then cursed in her mind. Oh, great... she'd asked, and she didn't know what to say. Sonlath hadn't told her if they were going to lie, and if they were, it wouldn't have worked anyway. She wasn't the best at lying, and she knew that for a fact. She swallowed, looking around, trying to think of something that wasn't a lie, but wasn't the whole truth, either.

"Well... um..." she paused for a few moments. "I was walking around the school, and I stumbled upon the nurse's office, and I saw you... and I wanted to see if you were ok, even though I don't know you." She smiled a bit, trying to keep it as normal as she could. There was a nervous feeling in her stomach, and she was hoping with all of her heart that nervousness wasn't showing.

What she had said had kind of been the truth... she had just left the part about Sonlath out of it...

"That makes no sense.... no one does that.... Someone put you up to it didn't they?" She asked feeling a little upset. She suddenly felt the pain in her ankle and winced. She wondered if the girl was only doing this for pity and not for friendship. She sighed and didn't let the girl know what her thoughts were....

Sonlath gulped...he hoped she wouldent screw this up...or else it would be to hard to explain...he was hiding behind a wall right outside...he couldent belive that she was the one in love with him...all he did was basically push her aside...he sighed silently knowing he would have to deal with it eventually...hopefully later... He had felt something before about liking her but quickly put it out of his head...he couldent give her anything she needed someone else not him...
