With a huge smile on her face, the waitress gladly responded after hearing what Flayace had to say. "Alright then/ You two sit back and I'll be back with your order lickety-split. Spinning around on her heel seemed like her way of getting around the best. She made a 180 on her right heel and sped to the kitchen to place the order. Who knows how long it would take for them to get such a simple order.

Lestat was interested in Flayace and wanted to know more about her. Obviously he wasn't just going to explore the deepest margins of her brain and find out everything that he needed to know, so he went on his way and asked her about it. "So ummm...Tell me about yourself. Your history? Your favorite things? Anything at all. He said as he rested his head on his left hand, placing it under his chin. Obviously Lestat knew that eventually he would have to tell her about himself as well but he figured he would cross that bridge when he got there. For now, he would just rather know everything there is to know about the girl that he would be spending pretty much every day with.

Blushing a bit, she nodded her head hesitantly towards him. She had no idea where to start, as there was so much to tell him, things that he himself probably wouldn't understand anyways. "Well, I don't know where to begin." She sighed lightly, as this was the first time she ever had to tell anyone about her past. "I really like sweets, and animals." She said softly. "But I guess you want to hear my story, right?" Looking down for a moment, she breathed heavily before she started. "I was an only child, and a perfect student for my entire life. When I found out I had powers, my parents, they thought something was wrong with me, that I was abnormal, and they saw that as a bad thing. So they made me go to a therapist until I finally told them to stop. Then I came here in hopes of trying to live with my powers, as if they aren't a curse, and to find people that excepted me." She half smiled, as she herself, thought that her backstory was stupid. Looking down at the table, she sighed lightly as she remembered that this was still a date, and that she had to try to keep things positive for the sake of that. "Since the day I came here, I've loved it more then I ever did my old life. And then I met you." She looked him right in the eyes, with a grin on her face. "And I couldn't be happier that I found someone as perfect as you." Flayace knew that what she had just said would either be seen as sappy, or maybe it would be seen as how grateful she was for him.

"Wow, she had the rough life. To be honest, that seems like the life that you would see in things of fiction. But then again, this whole retched island was a story book." He though to himself as he listened to her. He was stunned that such a positive girl like her had such a horrible life. He never took his eyes off of her for a moment as she explained how she felt about everything.

Lestat's face opened up completely with a smile from ear to ear. Her last comment made him feel so happy inside. It was something that he never felt that he would feel a day in his life. They hadn't even known one another that long yet it seems as if they had been together for ages. Thinking back to what else she said besides her story, he remembered that she loved sweets and animals. "Sweets" He thought. "Looks like I made the right choice bringing her here." He finished. He almost congratulated himself on the inside for making such a great choice in places to have a first date.

"Wow, sounds like one of those child books. He muttered attempting to be funny. He wasn't good at it really so he hoped that she would excuse his type of humor. "I know this may sound odd coming from me but, I can't even express how I feel. Its just way to complex to show how happy I am inside now that I found someone like you. It just seems so ridiculous to me that anything like this could even happen in my life." For once he wasn't ashamed to say this in front of someone. It was only because it was her that he said it but this was a milestone for his life generally. He was genuinely happen for once.

Looking at him, and seeing him smile, made her feel better inside. As if everything bad that had happened in the life disappeared inside her, so long as she looked at him. As he made a comment on childern's books, she couldn't help but laugh at his weird sense of humour compared to others. He was so adorable, even though to others he would most likely be seen as a mean person. To her, even though it had only been a few short days since they had met, she felt so safe around him, which was something she had never been used to.

She blushed horribly as he talked about her, and how he would have never thought that he would have met someone like her. "Wow." She said as she rested her head on her left hand. "Well I guess we both lucked out in finding eachother, because I feel the same."

Lestat felt great inside knowing that she felt the same way. He was horribly happy with what had happened over the last few days. Nothing better could have ever happened to him, at this point if anything else happened to him, he would figure that it was a dream of some sort.

Moments later, the waitress returned with a large, round tray made with metal rounding and a cork middle. Atop this tray was their order, long awaited. Lestat didn't move as she place the large cup of hot chocolate and the decent sized cherry pastry for two in the middle of the table. "I figured you two were sharing so I thought I would up the size on the order for you guys, no extra charge." The waitress was unbelievably nice for doing this. Lestat said nothing to her even though he did notice the nice gesture. Flayace would have to say something so that the lady wouldn't feel bad. Lestat knew to stay quiet if he wasn't going to do or say anything nice, but up until now he had never acted like such. Usually he would just be rude.

Once the waitress had left the table to tend to others, Lestat took a large sniff of the food before him. It was so appetizing that his tail fluttered into the air. He sat up straight and looked at it. "Well then, shall we?" He asked looking Flayace in the face.

As the food reached the table, she listened as the waitress talked to the two of them. A few seconds later, she looked over at Lestat, who to her surprise, was now not talking. Not wanting the waitress to think that her gesture was worthless, she looked back at her and began to talk. "Thank you so much! We really appreciate it." As the waitress walked off, she looked back at the food and the drink that was now on their table. It looks delicious, as if it was made especially for them. As she gazed at the two things on their table, Lestat's voice snapped her out of it, as she redirected her attention to him. She nodded lightly, as she looked at him with a gleeful smile.

As she looked at the hot chocolate, she noticed that there was two neatly placed straws in the glass of chocolatey goodness. Before she thought about reacting for it, she decided to take the pastry, and cut it in half with the butter knife that was placed with the pastry, so that they could both try it at the same time. She then handed him the other side of the pastry as she had the one side in her left hand.

Taking the piece of the pastry she had handed to him, he looked at it and then back to her. "Let's try it together" He insisted to her. He examined the pastry in his hand, turning it all over. He even looked at the inside, his face suggested that it looked odd to him. He turned it upside down to check out the back but accidentally dropped some of the filling on the table. With a splat, it smacked the table, spreading out about an inch from where it landed. Lestat, looked up at Flayace trying to keep in his laughter.

After wiping up his little mess, Lestat began to count down to eating the pastry simultaneously with Flayace. "Alright, you ready? 3...2...1!" He said excitedly, as if he was a child on a playground, as he was about to eat the Pastry. Upon taking his first bite, his eyes opened wide and his tail wagged around as if he was a dog. "That is amazing." He said as he waited to see Flayace's reaction.

As the cherry centre hit the table, Flayace let out a small laugh, as Lestat's reaction to the pastry was something she was not used to seeing. Batting her eyes, she liked down at her own pastry, which somehow still remained intact, even after she had split it.

As he counted down the seconds until they could eat it, she felt a bit childish, as if taking a bite out of the pastry was a childish game. She didn't mind though, as she couldn't remember the last time she felt like a child. Taking a bite out of it, she tried to keep her eyes looked on Lestat's, so that she could see his reaction to the thing he had most likely never tried. Seeing his reaction, she smiled and shared hers. "Wow, it's been forever since I've had one of these!" She took another bite as she was filled with glee.

Lestat was filled with joy as he continued to eat his food. Flayace seemed to like her's as well since she hadn't had one in so long. It was cute that she liked it so much. Smiling brightly, he watched as she took bites of her own pastry. He ate his slowly to savor the flavor he was experiencing. Flayace looked especially cute to him though, today. He wanted to say something about it was hesitant on doing so since he wasn't used to doing so. He would get used to things like this eventually though.

As she watched him eat his pastry, she thought and wondered as to what he was thinking. He was staring at her, with a large grin across his face, which made Flayace wonder as to what he was thinking about. As she looked at him, she couldn't help but think he was adorable, and without even knowing, se let her thoughts slip out into words. "You're so adorable." She said, but quickly covered her mouth as she realized that she had said it out loud. Blushing, she focused on her pastry, and took small bites out of it, trying to make her redness go down.
