On his way to the 'Sweetheart Cafe' with his newly found girlfriend, Lestat had thought of the past few days. They had been extremely odd for him. He was out of character for some parts of especially recently. As he walked the the streets, hand and hand with Flayace, he looked at all of he unassuming people that walked by the two. They paid no relative attention to them. Was he finally normal and fitting? Or was it just that he was with Flayace? At this point, it didn't matter one bit. He was enjoying himself finally.
It was a bright day, sunny indeed, though there were some clouds above that were small and calm moving through the sky. Not very many people were outside walking nor were there a lot of cars on the roads. The wind was blowing but only keeping it moderate as the sun was keeping everyone warm. they were almost working together to keep all of us at the perfect temperature.
Lestat had only one other pair of clothes that he brought with him to the island. They were clean and folded correctly. At least he learned how to stay up on his hygiene and looks from the humans. Wearing the same hoodie as usual, this time Lestat had a pair of black pants that were baggy enough to keep comfort up. His shirt was a bright green that matched his eyes, almost an emerald green. His shoes, however, were the same as he always wore.
Looking over to Flayace as they approached the Cafe, he let go of her hand. Moving towards the door, he opened it so that she could enter before him. He had learned earlier that year from a book that it was polite to do this. Even though he didn't like the humans, he did try his best to learn about them so that he could fit in just as well as they did. If not physically then maybe through personality. He had learned a lot about etiquette and manner as well. Finally it all came in handy.
Upon entering the cafe, Lestat guided Flayace to the open table near a large window that showed everything outside, from the people to the cars. Pulling out her chair and awaiting her to sit down, he stood patiently with a small smile on his face from just being with her.
