"Fine.. be that way." He turned to go the other direction, but the sight of a few more wolves made him change his mind. He figured he could just follow her quietly from a distance, maybe she'll lead him out of this stupid bog.
Violet heard a low growl and looked over her shoulder and saw wolves. She frowned. "What is up with them?" She muttered darkly before she started walking again.
He had never met such strange, aggressive creatures. He figured he had been in their territory or something, but they seemed to completely ignore Violet and go straight for him. He couldn't figure out why this was..
Violet heard them running and she--risking the fact that they might kill her in the process--wrapped both arms around Baine's waste, extended her wings and quickly flapped them hard. They were high in a tree not three seconds later.
She, so exhausted from having to use so much strength since her wings weren't very strong yet, wearily leaned against the tree trunk and tried to catch her breath.
"Tch. At least you're useful for something." He crossed his arms and looked away. "Butterfly girl." He smirked. The wolves gathered at the base of the tree and barked and growled loudly. They didn't seem to want to give up. A crow came out of nowhere and started trying to peck Baine's eyes out. Baine quickly swatted it away and slashed it with his scythe, causing the poor bird to fall to the ground near the wolves. Normally, the wolves probably would have torn the crow apart due to the lack of food source in the Moors. But for whatever reason, Baine was the bigger interest.
Violet didn't like the nickname 'Butterfly Girl', and became sad. Because of this she turned invisible. "W-why did y-you c-call me but-t-terfly girl?" She asked softly. She was sure it was some type of insult.
"Because you have wings and can fly.. durr.." He said that in a sort of mono-tone voice, as he was more concerned with the wolves below. It seemed as if birds were attacking him now, as well. How rude these creatures were! How dare they attack him!
Violet became visible again and quirked an eyebrow at him. "You're....jokng, right?" She questioned softly. 'Cool' is not how she would describe him. Not after the way he kept flipping out at her.
