His eyes opened, slowly. He found himself lying on the ground with a pounding headache. What had happened? He couldn't remember anything. He slowly stood and looked at his surroundings. It was like.. a swamp.. or something. He wasn't sure. He had definitely never been there before. He was almost starting to panic when the dark figure appeared in front of him.

The dark figure wore a black runed robe that appeared to be magical in nature. He had glowing red eyes and black flowing hair. Black angel wings sprouted from his back, and his skin was a darker purple-ish blue color.

"Baine." He said. "It is good to see you have awaken."

"..Who are you?" Baine replied, taking a step back, but the figure slowly floated towards him.

"My name is Lesset. But I would prefer it if you called me.. 'master'."

"Pfft.. in your dreams buddy. Now get rid of the costume and leave me alone. You stupid.."

Lesset threw out his arm and grabbed Baine's throat. He didn't have much tolerance for such disrespect, especially from a snot nosed human brat. "You listen here punk, you will do as I say. After all.. you have been chosen."

Baine coughed, but managed to say, "Chosen by who?"

"By Satan of course.. the future ruler of this world. Do you not wish to be a part of it?"

"S-Satan..?" Lesset let go of Baine, and he fell to the ground coughing. "..Y-yeah right.. I don't believe in any of that after-life mumbo jumbo."

Lesset was quickly losing his temper. He was starting to think he chose the wrong kid to experiment on. But, it was too late now. And hopefully his sinful qualities would prove to be more useful than they appeared to. Not believing in God was a good start, but the kid didn't believe in Satan either. He figured he could tempt the kid with power, though.
"Do you wish for... power?" He offered, as he held out his right hand. A dark orb of energy manifested. Baine was quickly starting to think this wasn't some trick.

And he would soon find out that it was more serious than he could ever think possible.

Violet, being the wonderful liar she was, went to the moors, but convinced herself she was on a deserted island because the airplane she was in crashed. She also convinced herself that she had a limp--but she kept changing the leg she was limping on.

Looking around she mentally wondered where all the other people in the plane went, and where the plane was. "They must have all disappeared somehow. Guess I'm just going to have to find them."

She walked around, singing an almost depressive song to herself.

Baine slowly rose to his feet. Lesset was no longer there. Or at least, he didn't see him. He quickly forgot about what that creature was, however, when he realized how different he felt. He was... stronger. He felt such hatred and evil within his body, granting him such strength. And he liked it.

It was then he noticed he actually wasn't alone. A few mutated-looking wolves had apparently seen him as a possible meal. But something was in their eyes... hatred. It was as if they despised every single inch of his body. But Baine didn't feel any fear for his life. Somehow, he felt far superior to these creatures. And the fact that they even thought of hurting him, greatly offended him as well.

He felt a strange urge in his right arm. And when he gave into it, a scythe made of complete darkness formed in his hand.

The wolves never stood a chance.

But what he found odd, was that the weapon never made any sort of wound on the wolves. If they were hit by a direct hit with the weapon, they simply.. died. It wasn't until he heard someone coming that he un-summoned his weapon.

Violet spotted someone and her eyes widened. He looked as if he's fared worse than her. Approaching, she asked, "Are you all right? Where are the rest of them?" She frowned.

He gave the girl a glare. "..Huh? What do you mean 'the rest of them'? Up until now I wasn't even aware another living mortal was in this swamp, girl." He didn't even know where he was right now, after thinking about it. He sort of just.. woke up here. Maybe she was brought here just like he was?

He must have hit his head or something....maybe he's crazy. Violet's mind now believed this, so without further saying anything she grabbed his head and began to examine it. "Where did you get hit?"

He growled and pushed her away. "Hey! Don't you ever touch me without my permission. You got it?" He rubbed his head to fix his hair and stretched his arms. "And I didn't 'get hit' anywhere. I took care of those wolves without getting a scratch. So stop acting weird and start using that female brain of yours to think of a way to get out of this place... if your mind is even capable of following such a simple order."

Violet blinked and shrank away from him. And her sister wondered why she was so depressed all the time...

When he said that about the wolves, her eyes grew wide and she gapped. "Y-you hurt something?" She said, choked up. She absolutely loathed violence....

"They attacked me. So I put the puppies down. Showed them their place in the world, you know? Don't even think about trying anything cocky, girl, or you'll have the same fate. However.." He thought. "You are quite attractive... why don't you come with me? We can search for these.. others."

"They attacked me. So I put the puppies down. Showed them their place in the world, you know? Don't even think about trying anything cocky, girl, or you'll have the same fate. However.."

Cocky? Violet thought that might be one way she would be able to get away from the world. Be cocky, and 'she'd have the same fate'. She inwardly sighed, knowing that being 'cocky' wasn't something she was able to pull off at the moment.

"You are quite attractive... why don't you come with me? We can search for these.. others."

Violet almost smiled. He was going to help her look for everyone. Maybe he had to hurt the wolves to be able to save everyone else....maybe he knows where they are....Oh! He's a brave soul! Just then she would have given him a hug except for the fact he had said he didn't want her to touch him. So instead she just rewarded him with one of her rare smiles.

"Okay, lead me to them."
