Actually making an effort in school past the art club was odd to Milo. He'd been slowly settling into it for a while now, after choosing to major in criminology, but still wasn't quite used to the whole situation. Along with figuring out college, Milo was engaged now. That also happened to be a little more difficult to process fully, but he was certainly in love, and already half moved in to his fiance's house. He still spent a lot of time in his dorm room, as it was simply more convenient sometimes, but more often or not he went home to Vince. It was odd. And good.
Except when he was nasty to innocents, or got involved with antagonistic people (purposefully or not) and only added oil to their fire. When Milo first found the house's front door unlocked, he squinted. Then, his sensitive nose could smell… cats. Traces of three of them. He told some of the rats that had been on his shoulders or in his shirt to go somewhere else, just in case. He wasn't sure what this would be about. He was prepared for leeches, not company.
His entrance was very quiet, using his serial killer based skills, as quiet as a rat. He peered into the living room. It was all fucking awkwardness and hostility. He inwardly groaned. Vince in particular really didn't seem to want the white haired guy there. He picked up the last bit of what his fiance was saying, and it wasn't friendly.
Milo made a face. Wow. Wasn't even playing, just wanted him out. The tall strawberry blond dropped his bag on the floor, finally making making some more solid noise and announcing his presence. He strolled forward and stood behind Vince's chair, just like the intruder was doing behind that young woman (they smelled similar, siblings?). "He doesn't even need to call the cops. I'll pick you up and throw you out myself if I need to. Whatever shit you're pulling here isn't acceptable, stop screwing around."
He sighed roughly, massaging his temples with one hand. "Personally, I'm tired from my classes. I'd like to make dinner and eat without a hostile stranger in my home." He glowered a bit at the way this person was looking at his fiance, gaze briefly flickering to the girl. He wasn't sure about her yet, though he almost thought he recognized her from somewhere. Finally, he glanced at Vince, silently questioning how this had happened, and if there were any schemes behind it.
Hm. A group of cats and a rat. He could handle them all, including his beloved.
