Lestat only paid attention to the sky for awhile. It looked rather pleasant to him actually. He was starting to warm up to it, the longer he looked at it. His mind was blank and all he really paid and homage to, at the moment, was the sky and its significant display of colors.

The tree bark was pretty rough on Lestat's back so he decided to sit on the ground. He didn't notice that the girl was sitting in front of him actually. It wasn't until his rear end firmly sat on the grass that he noticed she was there. This whole time, he didn't even know she moved, how oblivious of him.

Unknowing of her ability to over see things, Lestat asked her a question. "Why are you sitting there, you can hardly even see the sunset right there. That wasn't the smartest thing to do." He said while looking in her direction. After a moment of quick thought, he asked another question that he probably should have asked earlier. "What is your name anyways?" For the moment, he was calm and actually acting like a normal person. He wasn't being rude, either. Maybe the sunset got to him more than he thought?

Looking calmly as the sun every so slowly went down, she could hear the boy behind her start to move. Was he finally going to talk? She had no idea, but it wasn't like she could predict these types of things. She knew that she could also just look in his direction, but she wasn't sure if she'd be able to get such a good angle again, so she let him do what he had to.

For a few moments, he said nothing, which made Flayace to believe that he had simply moved a a body part or something. After he finished asking his first question, she waited for a second, as she wasn't sure as to how she was going to put it. That she could move her eyes? no, that sounded weird. In the time that she was thinking, he had asked Flayace her name, which made her smile brightly. Nodding to herself, she opened her eyes and turned herself around in surprise to see him on the ground with her.

"You see, my powers, give me the ability to see things that are out of my actual eyesight. So with that, I am able to see the sunset above the treeline, so it really doesn't matter where I am, as long as I'm not too far away from where I want to look at." She smiled at him, hoping that what she said made sense to him, though she wasn't sure as the concept was confusing, even to her. "And my name is Flayace. Flayace Sun Quinn, you?" She always loved sharing her name with others, as she always got the weirdest reactions, or the best of compliments.

As Lestat sat on the ground, he watched and listened as the girl explained her reason for sitting in such an unfortunate spot for watching the sunset. In her explanation, he was confused for a moment before he had thought it over and made sense of it. She was almost all-seeing in an environment. He found this fascinating to an extent, almost to the point on where he wanted to look in her mind to see what she sees but he wouldn't go that far without permission or an absolute reason anyways.

He only nodded after she finished explaining herself, as he didn't know what to say after that. He wasn't as sure of what he thought her power was so he didn't say anything really. She explained further that her name was Flayace Sun Quinn. An odd and unique name indeed. "The names, Lestat but I don't care what you call me to be honest. Names were never my strong point anyways. As he finished, he looked back to the sky as it was getting dark and the sunset was leaving the sky. The moon was going to rise soon enough.

His tail moving in the grass, almost wagging for a moment as if he were a dog. This was just to get it to a more comfortable position. He isn't an animal so it wasn't moving due to happiness nor is he that happy. He barely blinked as he looked back to the girl. Staring her in the eyes, it's almost like he never blinks at all. He wasn't doing this on purpose but it seemed like he was examining her even though he was barely even paying attention to her appearance.

Smiling at his name, she thought it was quite cute. She hadn't met many people that didn't have a last name, but then again she thought that maybe he just didn't tell her. Either way she was happy that he told her, as now she had a name to put to a face.

"That's a cute name, Lestat." Nodding towards him, she realized that he wasn't looking a her, which caused her to look at where he was. She frowned a bit as she saw that the sun was almost all the way down, and that it was going to be night soon. Would she have to walk back in the pitch black? At least she had her power to guide her in the right way.

She wasn't sure as to what to make of Lestat, he has a cold and off putting personality and attitude at first, but it seemed as though he wasn't as much like that anymore, which made Flayace smile again.

Looking back in the direction of Lestat, she was a bit surprised to see him staring at her. Smiling and tilting her head slightly to the right, she wondered as to what exactly he was looking at. "Watcha doing?" She asked as she stared at him for a reply.

Lestat snapped out of his oblivious stare that was directed towards Flayace once she asked what he was doing. Answering immediately, he said, "Nothing, just a blank stare." His expression was emotionless and dry when he said this though his eyes seemed to glow more in the creeping darkness that seemed to be gently starting to overlay itself on to the surrounding area.

"It's getting dark out, huh?" He began as he looked directly above his head. He looked around and scanned the area trying to see just how dark it was getting and how fast. It wasn't getting dark too fast so that was good for the two. Neither of the two had an ability to help them light up the dark, though Lestat's eyes were more accustomed to the darkness since where he is from, it is darker than in the human world.

Lestat began to think as well, while he looked around. He was just going to stay near the lake for the night since he didn't want to be near so many humans all living in one building. It was bringing a scowl to his face just thinking about it, but he did wonder what Flayace was going to do for the night. It was already getting dark and they aren't that close to the academy that they would be able to get back so easily. But then again she is basically all-seeing, right? Even so, Lestat had to ask. "That human infested building isn't that close to us. How do you plan on getting back there since its already getting so dark?" He thought that he might as well ask her since she was being nice to him so he should return the favor. Especially since she was the first human to actually take an interest in him. He saw it was a genuine interest as well when he first said something to her in her own head.

"Oh." She replied almost silently. She didn't know what to say next, she she just stayed quiet. Did this guy have no emotions? Maybe, but that would be rude to assume. After all, they still didn't know each other that well at all. She was surprise though, that he hadn't tried to run way for force her to leave yet. She guessed, that it was a good sign that Lestat hadn't done that yet.

"Yeah it is." She tilted her head downwards. What was she going to do? She really didn't want to go alone, back to the school. Plus, it would take her quite a lot of item to get back to the school, but at the same time she didn't see a problem in going anyways. She didn't have a source of light though, which scared her a bit, because even with her powers, it didn't help her 'light the way' for a safe return to the school.

She was becoming confuse din her own mind, as she had no idea what the right choice was o make. If she were to stay out here, what would she do? Stay up all night talking to Lestat? Or fall asleep where she sat? She had no idea, but she knew that she had to make a choice.

"The way I see it, I have two options." She started, lifting her to look at him again. "I could either try to get back to the school in the dark. Which would mean me walking aimlessly, even with the help of my powers." She paused and thought about the next sentence. "Or I could stay here." She looked down again after saying that.

Lestat watched as the apparent darkness fell over the two. He also noticed that Flayace's mood seemed to drop as well. She sat with her head down for most of the time now and she seemed to be depressed in a way. Her head hung to the ground as if she was having a conversation with it. Lestat couldn't tell whether she was sad or thinking though since she was pretty upbeat before and she just randomly fell into a pit of darkness.

He listened as she explained her situation after looking around at the darkness filling the area. She told him that she had to chose one of two options for the night. She could either try hopelessly to find her way back to the academy building in the complete darkness and even her powers wouldn't help her in that way. Or she could just stay where she is with Lestat. Thinking about this, Lestat closed his eyes and began to stroke his chin. What did he want and what would be the better choice for her?

As Lestat thought about this, Flayace had her head hung low once again. She seemed disappointed by this. Lestat, after a few minutes of thinking intently, he opened his eyes and crossed his arms. He walked closer to her, though not close enough to be in her personal space, he looked at her and said his thoughts. "I don't have a problem with helping you out here. I can help in both ways but which choice you take is up to you. Whether you stay here or go back to the building is up to you." Upon finishing, he waited for her response. He didn't know what she would chose but he expected her to take a second to think about it, though he figured she would look up to him almost immediately.

Looking downwards for a while, she wondered as to what Lestat was thinking. Maybe he was going to be mean and reject her options? Or maybe he would be kind and let her decide? Either way, she just sat there and thought as the boy made p his mind on the topic.

A few minutes later, he heard him get up, which scared her a bit. What was he going to do? She had no idea, but she stayed calm until he began to talk. Waiting a few quick seconds before replying, she shot her head up with a small smile across it, to see him standing in front of her.

She decided to get up too, so that she was a least a bit more of the same height as he was. "I-" She said, but then took a deep breath before continuing, making sure that she kept as much eye contact as much as possible. She started to blush a bit, which only made her feel worse about what she had chose to do. "I want to stay here with you."

Lestat waited ever so patiently for Flayace's reply. He already knew what she was going to say without even entering her mind. All he had to do was look at the face she made when she looked up to him. The smile that stretched across her face was enough to show what her answer would be. Lestat wasn't surprised nor was he irritated at her response. He did say he would comply with whatever she chose.

She began to say what her choice was, but paused. It was like she was nervous to say it. She blushed though which did show that she was slightly nervous at least. Keeping a good amount of eye contact, she told him that she would rather stay with him. he smirked. "Well are you gonna sleep out here then too?" He asked. He wondered this since it was already starting to get just a little chilly out. He would rather her not end up with a cold so he would have to take that into account as well. The sleeping arrangements would be a little off for her since she may not be used to sleeping out doors like this but for Lestat, he would be fine. It was her he was worried about.

Patiently waiting, the silence was almost too much for her. She was glad though, as his expression as not an unpleasant one. Sighing lightly, she tried to remain eye contact with him, as she didn't know what else to do while she waited. Seeing him smirk, she became a bit nervous. Did he want her to pick that choice? In the end, it was kind of a no-brainer, so maybe that smirk meant something else. Either way she pretty much ignored it while Lestat talked.

"Well, I-" She was a bit embarrassed, as she wasn't sure how they would be sleeping, as it did get cold at night. "Where else am I supposed to sleep?" She snapped out of her red blush to give him an answer. "I'm kind of used to it, me and my cousins used to camp, but this will be different." She gave him a light smile as the redness started to show on her face again. She had to make herself stop, but she couldn't seem to.
