Lestat only paid attention to the sky for awhile. It looked rather pleasant to him actually. He was starting to warm up to it, the longer he looked at it. His mind was blank and all he really paid and homage to, at the moment, was the sky and its significant display of colors.
The tree bark was pretty rough on Lestat's back so he decided to sit on the ground. He didn't notice that the girl was sitting in front of him actually. It wasn't until his rear end firmly sat on the grass that he noticed she was there. This whole time, he didn't even know she moved, how oblivious of him.
Unknowing of her ability to over see things, Lestat asked her a question. "Why are you sitting there, you can hardly even see the sunset right there. That wasn't the smartest thing to do." He said while looking in her direction. After a moment of quick thought, he asked another question that he probably should have asked earlier. "What is your name anyways?" For the moment, he was calm and actually acting like a normal person. He wasn't being rude, either. Maybe the sunset got to him more than he thought?
