Lestat, one of the newest additions to the academy grounds isn't the most sunshiny person on the planet. In fact, he may as well be the downer of the universe. He was always depressed and angry from what he went through in his previous years of life. But he doesn't just keep to himself though, he wants to bring everyone down with him at the same time. Especially humans. Even though he is half human and half demon, he hates humans for what his mom had done to him. He figured all humans were like that since they all saw him as an abomination as he walked through the streets.

Lestat walked past a brush of trees that were grown rather close together but far enough apart for Lestat to walk through without having to shift in any way. His tail wavering from side to side with every step. As of now it is dusk and the redish-orange sky is slightly accenting as well as contradicting the colors of his natural body. The green edges of the marking of his body seemed to be brighter than usual in the light of the lowering sun. His bright green eyes scanned the area looking to see if he was alone. And he was for the time being. As Lestat moved out of the trees, he found a lake that flowed by him without a care in the world. It looked so mellow but to him it was just another place for humans to come and ruin. The longer he looked at the lake, the more angered he seemed to get. So as a result, he turned his head and dragged his tail on the ground behind him as he walked along the lake. He only walked a few meters before coming upon a large rock that sat on the side of the lake. "Might as well sit here for a while. I'd rather not go to that abnormal school for those idiotic humans." Lestat stated once he sat and leaned his head on the rock relaxing with his tail on his lap.

For the time being, he decided to sit there and watch the sunset. he probably figured that he would sleep there as well. He didn't want to go to the academy for anything. All it would do is end with him being angered out like never before.

Coughing her way further into the ever surrounding trees, Flayace laughed a bit at the things that had just happened. She has been in science class, doing a late night experiment with a classmate for an upcoming project, when the experiment went terribly wrong. The air in the class had filled with smoke, which had been hard to breathe in, and which also made her light headed. Thankfully, they were able to fix the problem and clean it all up without anyone else seeing it. Even though it had been over an hour since that time, her throat still hurt a bit.

"I'm happy I'm out of there." Relaxing herself, she quickly grabbed a piece of her pink hair and stroked it, thinking about where exactly she wanted to go. Deciding to go to the lake, she let go of her hair and quickly rushed off her plaid red and black shirt and pink sweater before walking forward.

She had decided that going to the lake, where the air quality would surely make her feel better, would be a good idea. Sighing a bit too loudly to herself, she stopped to look around cautiously, to make sure that no birds or animals were around, before continuing on. It was so peaceful, at the moment, as through the trees, she could see the sun beginning to go down. Smiling because of it, she tilted her head down a bit to see a glimpse of the lake.

Before walking forward, she closed her eyes to see if there was anyone in front of her or around the lake. Taking a few seconds to make sure, she quickly saw someone else, a male. Opening her eyes again, she wasn't sure what to feel. She was just as much afraid as she was excited. Maybe this person was friendly? Or maybe he wanted to be left alone? Either way, she wanted to a least try to talk to this person. After all, it wasn't like he owned the lake.

Slowly stepping forward, she could slowly started to see the other person. Taking a deep quiet breath, she began to talk. "Hello there." She said warmly with a smile. At that same moment, she turned her body,to face him, even though she was on his left side and quite far away from him.

While the sun set and the lake flowed along in his presence, Lestat continued to lean on the large rock that was illuminated by the light of the sky. Lestat himself was relaxed for once and was enjoying the lack of human accompaniment. His eyes, closed, kept him from seeing the peaceful signs of nature.

Lying their, he couldn't fall asleep so he began to think to himself of what he may find at the school. He knew this would infuriate him but he did it anyways. he began to imagine humans of all shapes and sizes, with different abilities. One shape shifting, one wielding a sword, and another just standing their. His face grew into a scowl, as he thought to himself. "Why do these wretched human filth get the abilities that only people of my race should have?" He considered himself a full blooded demon though he was more human than demon.

While he sat there, he could hear the grass rustling under the feet of someone approaching. Opening his eyes, his glowing green irises hard to go unnoticed, he looks at the girl. His head turned to her as his tail straightened. "A girl. The worst of them." He muttered under his breath. The reason he thought of women as the worst was because they seemed to be the ones with the best moods a lot though some of them switch moods often, it seemed to be more likely for them to be happy.

Lestat continued looking at her with his glowing eyes, but his face contorted into a scowling frown showing his teeth for a moment. He looked away closing his eyes and saying, "Go away, pest." The last part was muttered under his breath as he was trying to relax himself once more.

Looking carefully at the male, she put her hands behind her, clasped together. She could already tell that he was not the friendly type, even before he began to talk. As he talked, she smiled a bit, as he seemed to think that girls were nasty, or something like that, based on his comment. She did know what to say, as it seemed that he was bothered by her presence. Unsure of what the think, she lowered her head for a second, as she took a moment to think of what to say. As she thought, she heard him move a bit, and tell her to go away. But even though it was low, she heard him call her a pest, which made her blot her head up.

Sighing and smiling and she stepped a bit closer, and nodded her head to him. "Well last time I checked, this place is open to everyone, right?" She laughed quietly under her breath. "So if you don't mind I'd really like to stay here and enjoy the sunset." Turning toward the lake, she closed her eyes but made it so that she could see his reaction. She didn't want this to end badly, or for either of them to have to get violent, but there may be no other choice if the male with her had already made up his mind.

Lestat's eyes widened in surprise as the girl continued to walk towards him. He couldn't fathom his frustration and how much she didn't mind staying. His disgust for humans made him forget that this whole academy was filled with abnormal beings. "Well last time I checked, this place is open to everyone, right?" She said as she moved closer. "Why wont she just leave?" He asked himself repeatedly.

"So if you don't mind I'd really like to stay here and enjoy the sunset." She continued as she turned her attention to the lake. Lestat was confused and annoyed beyond belief by her subtle and and smiley appearance. She had to be delusional. "How do I get rid of little annoyances?" he wouldn't result to violence unless it was necessary and he wouldn't waste his own power on something as petty and pointless as this.

He thought to himself for moments before a tiny smirk appeared on his face as it finally snapped to him. he hadn't used his telepathy in forever so he completely forgot about it. His bright, green, glowing eyes focused on her as she seemed to pay no attention to him. He didn't have to move his head much but he shifted his eyes completely to her. Using his mental ability to speak with her, he spoke out in her head loudly with a dirty and ignorant tone. "Why do you insist on staying? Leave now and go accompany that filthy human race of yours."

Lestat talked about the human race as if he wasn't half human himself. He only considered himself a demon since he thought being human was impure.

Smiling lightly as she saw his face become angry by her comment, she hoped in the back of her head that he wasn't going to lash out at her, as she would pretty much be defenseless. Watching him carefully, she kept her back towards him, as if she wasn't even paying attention. Sighing lightly she considered turning back towards him, but then at that moment, she saw a smirk go across his face. 'What is he planning to do?' She thought nervously. As she stared at him, his eyes, had a determined look in them, which Flayace worry, but she stayed calm.

A few seconds later she heard a voice in her head. He was a telepath. She scowled for a second, but then went back to her calm state. She didn't appreciate people in her head, but it wasn't like she was one to lash out. She smiled to herself, and opened her eyes before turning around to face him. "Well, what do you mean by filthy? Do you not like the smell of us?" She laughed a bit cheerfully. "A lot of us, are rather nice if you get to know us." By his comment, she suspected that his dude wasn't fond of humans, for whatever reason. Pausing for a second, she then let herself get a good look at him. He was cute, but it wasn't like he had any interest in her.

"I guess I like it here. It's calm, and relaxing, even if there are others around. Even though I'm not fond of the dark, or animals." She closed her eyes as a light gust of wind came their way. Opening them she placed her hands in front of her, clasped together. "What about you?" She stepped a bit closer, tilt her head to the right slightly.

No matter what he did the girl bounced back with mountains of cheerfulness. It was rather ridiculous to Lestat. But all this did was prove his theory of how girls are the most annoyingly happy. She laughed as she seemingly mocked Lestat's reasons for not liking humans. Well at least that's what it seemed like to him. Still speaking telepathically, he began to speak again after closing his eyes. "Obviously its more than just that. It doesn't matter whether you are nice or not, all humans are annoying and irritating." he said.

Obviously, he spoke out of his own opinion through the humans that he has come into contact with. It's not that those humans were idiots or they were mean, but they were simply frightened by his appearance. Normal humans aren't used to the way he looks and so they would naturally get scared.

"I guess I like it here. It's calm, and relaxing, even if there are others around. Even though I'm not fond of the dark, or animals." She continued. Towards the end of this, Lestat's tail winced as she said she wasn't fond of animals. He knew his tail resembled that of a wolf.

A gust of wind moved by the two and made Lestat's hair move into his face as well as rustle the hair on his tail. He opened his eyes only to see that she had moved closer to him with her hands out from, clasped together and her head tilted to the right. "What about you?" She asked as he sat up. "What is it that you want?" he asked as he frowned slightly staring her in the eyes letting the light from the now heightened Ivory moon brighten the already glowing green irises of his eyes.

Thinking about what he said, she pondered the statement for a moment. "Well of course we are annoying and irritating, what would be the fun in someone that was perfect? Everyone has flaws." She asked him, unaware of how he would reply. It was true to her though, that everyone had flaws, so people, or other creatures shouldn't expect others to be just the way they want them.

She pondered the thought, and while she did, she made her head straight again. "Well, I guess I want to get to know you, and for me, or us, to enjoy the sunset without either of us leaving." She thought for another moment. "Is that so hard to ask for?" She looked into his eyes and waited for a reply.

"I don't want them to be perfect..." he began. A pause caught his lips as he thought about what she was saying. His eyes dropped to the ground as he thought about it. Looking back up, he continued in an ill manner. "I'm not getting into this." His voice was stern but empty with no emotional feeling to it at all. He wasn't want to go back into his past and start telling about it. He avoided that at all costs.

"Why do you want to get to know me? We haven't even been in one another's presence for half an hour and you are interested in me? Your human logic makes no sense to me and only frustrates the mind." His voice now was confused and angry. No one had ever taken an interest in him, so he wasn't sure how to react to it. He wasn't in her mind completely but from being in her mind only minutes ago, she may be able to feel his emotion slightly in her own mind, reading him almost. "As for the sunset..." He stopped as she spoke. "Is that so hard to ask for?" She said as she looked into his eyes.

In her saying this, Lestat had no idea how to react. She seemed to be pretty hell bent on watching this sunset with him and just being around him in general. What was he to do? He just sat there wondering to himself, because not even he could understand what he felt.

She smiled at him, even though she could sense that his emotions were being mixed up with her words. She really didn't want to confuse him, or anything of that sort, as all she really wanted at this point was to let this guy know that he could have a friend if he wanted one. She pondered that thought, as she knew that most people she had met never even wanted to be her friend, as most thought of her as annoying and too happy. She didn't mind though, because she knew that she had to make friends that wanted to be hers for who she was.

"I mean, what's not like to be interested about? You seem pretty cool, and it's been a while since I've seem people on their own, especially out here." She nodded to him to tell him that she was telling the truth.

"It's up to you though, if you want to watch it with me. Either way I am not leaving even if you want me to, okay?" She cheerfully smiled at him, as she still stood there and looked at him.

"Trust me, it won't be bad if you say yes, I don't bite or anything." She laughed a bit and waited for him to reply to her offer.
