He looked at her with his left eyebrow raised to he first comment. "She says it as if I am not strong enough to hold my own out here alone. Who does she think she is?" he though to himself before realizing that she didn't mean it that way. It seems that he was starting to lighten up though he was fighting it to the bone.

Gritting his teeth and scowling, he began to speak under his breath but just loud enough for her to hear him. "Well if you aren't going to leave regardless, then why are we even having this conversation?" He asked as she giggled about not biting. His tail had grown uncomfortable of the current position it was in so it stood to shake it out for a moment. The green on it's edges lighting up under the light of the sky. He sat back down with it closer to the lake, almost touching the water.

Looking at the guy, she smiled as she knew the answer to his question. "Well if I didn't ask, then wouldn't you just go back to being all by yourself?" She nodded at him lightly. "I didn't want to sound mean or anything, so that's why I wanted to ask you, so that you knew that you could join me."

She continued to look at him as he sat back down, and adjusted herself so that she was still in view of him. She didn't sit down though, and merely made it so that if he did look up, she would be slightly more to his right. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" She breathed in the lake air as she closed her eyes for a second, so that she could relax.

Lestat was silent as she spoke to him once again. He was too frustrated with himself for not getting rid of her sooner. Now it seems that she was building an attachment to him even if he wasn't trying to himself. He stared into the sky, wondering about home. Not only was he wondering about this, but he wondered what his mother was actually like but then those peaceful, if not sad, thoughts were pushed aside as he thought of the reason he hated humans in the first place. She was the origin after all.

The pink haired girl continued to talk, though Lestat was pretty disinterested in what she had to say. he sat silently for a majority of the time before coughing a little into the side of his fist and then making a statement himself. "In this world, nothing is beautiful in my eyes. What is beautiful anyways, where I am from there is only shame and misfortune." He paused and sighed. Curiosity had struck him. He always let his hatred for humanity and the fact that they never wanted to be around him get in the way of actually learning about their nature.

He sucked it up and gritted his teeth, letting out a light grunt before he spoke again. "What is the real definition of beauty? Assuming you can answer this may show your worth for me to be around you." He finished this off in an arrogant manner as his left eyebrow rose and he looked to her with curiosity flowing from his eyes.

Getting slightly irritated at the fact that he wasn't listening to her, she sighed heavily, rather then blowing up at him. "I see." She said calmly as he expressed his opinion of beauty. It was a shame to her, that his heart and soul wasn't where hers was, but it wasn't like she had expected him to he like her in the first place. She wanted to be friends with this guy, even if it mean that she had to answer a million questions or show her powers to him, it didn't matter.

Smiling at his question, she turned around without hesitation, to answer him, making sure that she had at least a bit of his attention. "I won't bore you with a long explain okay?" She nodded to herself, as the last thing she wanted was for her to talk for so long tat he got annoyed of her and missed her answer completely. Before talking, she stood in front of him, and stomped her foot on the ground to make sure that he knew she was ready to answer.

She then cleared her throat and smiled as she said her response loud and clear to him. "What is the definition of beauty, you ask? To simply put it, it is whatever the eye of the beholder, sees as something that shows them that this world isn't hopeless, that even in the darkest of hours, everyone and everything can find rays of light that will guide them to happiness." This little monologue made Flayace smile brightly, but then she readdressed her happiness towards the guy in front of her. "You may not like my answer, but to be honest it was a pretty stupid question to ask, as everyone sees beauty differently."

Pausing for a moment, she tilted her head to the left. "So if you don't mock my beauty I won't mock yours, okay?"

Lestat sat in his place as the girl began by explaining how she wouldn't bore him with this. On the inside, Lestat was slightly relieved as he didn't want some huge, long winded, answer. Stomping her foot on the ground in front of him, the girl signified that she was about to begin the main part of her explanation. Lestat was ready to hear what she had to say even though he still didn't want to be talking to her. This may have been his only chance to actually find something out about human nature without going through something excessively over the top.

While she explained this to him, Lestat sat quietly and paid the up most attention to her. It seemed like he was being lectured by a teacher of some sort, to be honest. He mentally took notes as he inwardly longed to find something of this description. As she finished, though, Lestat only stared at her. He wasn't confused but more astounded by the answer she had given.

Before he would give a response in his now calm nature, he heard her say that he had asked a rather stupid or pointless question. When this clicked to him, after she was completely finished talking, he stood up quickly and leaned in toward her with a scowl and his finger pointed towards her. He opened his mouth to say something but then stopped himself as it was still rude to do something of the sort after she did, in a way, help him.

Stepping back from her, he tilted his head down and exhaled. looking back up to her, he said to her, "Thanks but I don't intend on mocking something that I have no clue about. Just because despise hate you abnormal leeches doesn't mean I am without manners."

He turned away from her looking in the opposite direction. his tail held high, he crossed his arms as if he was slightly offended by her last remarks.

Looking questionably at the boy, she waited for him to reply, or show any sign of emotion, but for a while, he just sat there, as if her words either fazed him, or he was trying to come up with a good comeback for what she had said. A bit nervous, she breathed a bit too heavily as her eyes changed color. Shaking her head, she then noticed that he was now getting up, and he was now creepily close to her for some reason.

Not sure what to do, she just stood there and tried to calm herself by looking at him straight on, rather then letting her nervousness get the better of her. She realized that he was finally going away from her face. Sighing, she cooled off her emotions, which took a few seconds. This gave him time to finally say something about what she had said.

"I'm sorry if I sounded mean, I didn't mean it." She took a step closer to him, as he was now not facing her. She closed her eyes to think for a second. She knew there was something here to make him see what beauty was, that she had forgotten. But what was it? A few seconds passed until she finally remembered. "Oh! And the most important thing to remember about beauty is that it comes from inside you. You can't see beauty of other things and people without seeing it in yourself first."

She smiled as she finally remembered, which caused her to open her eyes and see a tail of sorts, which got her thinking. Was this guy so cold, so oblivious of the things she had mentioned, because he had not experienced it before?

"Oh!" She started. Lestat was turned around facing the opposite direction of her and thinking to himself about how long she had been there. To him, she wasn't being much of a nuisance to him anymore, more of a slightly annoying dictionary on human life. The thought of her being annoying wouldn't go away just like that, though, he was starting to warm up to her. not much as friends, yet.

She continued. "And the most important thing to remember about beauty is that it comes from inside you. You can't see beauty of other things and people without seeing it in yourself first." Lestat had heard nothing like this in his entire life but for some odd reason, it didn't get to him like the other things did. "Hmp, whether you may be true about that last part or not, it sounds too cliche to be real." Upon saying this, he turned his head to the right side so that he could see her at least a little. He was gradually, and I mean gradually, growing fond of her presence.

His arms still crossed, he turned towards her and walked forward. It would seem like he was about to go up to her again but he was actually about to walk past her. The wind was beginning to pick up, probably because night time was creeping forward and the temperature was sure to drop at least a little. Once he had walked past her, he leaned his body against a tree in the direction of the sleepy sun that was lying down to rest. Maybe he would try to enjoy what the girl figured was so beautiful.

Waiting for him to reply, she moved a bit more close to him, and put herself a bit more in his eye sight, and waited for him to reply. Would he find what she said to be pathetic? Or sweet? She had no idea, but no was not the time to hope or the worse, he didn't seem to hate her.

After he replied, she was almost speechless. Cliche? Was that all he could come up with? A bit angry, she clenched her fists, but then let them go, as it really wasn't that bad of a situation for her to be getting mad. "Well maybe it sounds like that because a lot of people say it." She smiled boldly.

As he got up, she was sure that he was going to give her another close up stare, she she readied herself for it. She he began to walk towards her, she noticed that his path was not at her, but beside her instead. As he walked past her, the minute he was a bit far away, she turned around quickly to see where he was going. Was he leaving? No, it would make no sense to do it so bizarrely, but then again, she didn't know him.

Flayace smiled as he saw him lean against a tree, so that he would see the dying sunset in the sky. Walking a bit closer to him, she wasn't sure where to go. She wanted to enjoy it just as much as any other night, but there were no trees close enough to him to watch it from. Sighing, she looked at him while she was on his left side and started to talk. "Can I, join you?" She wanted to make sure that he actually wanted her there, and the he didn't just move so that he was away from her.

Lestat continued to lean on the tree with his arms crossed looking at the sunset faithfully. The trees were dancing in the wind almost as the small gusts of wind had made a faction and moved together. The sky, now a fiery scarlet and beautiful orange array of colors, was reaching it's peak of beauty.

Reluctantly looking to his left, the girl had moved in closer to him. He only looked at her as she stood there. At the moment, she looked timid and shy, like they hadn't just talked at all. She sighed and asked him if she could join him. Lestat knew that this was going to come up and had already considered what may happen. Each possible outcome was considered by him within the amount of time that he had gotten to the tree and leaned on it.

Almost immediately after she asked him, he replied. "Might as well." He said as he turned back towards the sunset. As much as he didn't want to start being emotional, it actually started to get to him about his past. He hated being half human because it came with having all of their emotions and feelings. This girl was actually starting to get to him in more ways than one and he didn't like it but as of now he had to let her in. He knew that she wasn't just going to leave so he just let her at least what the sunset in peace.

Smiling brightly at him, she nodded and came a few steps closer, but not close enough for him to feel like he had to move again. "Thanks." She then thought again about where exactly she was going to watch it from, which confused her to a degree. It would be weird to share the same tree, and that's not what Flayace wanted in the first place. She could stand behind the tree he was leaning on, but then he would have to turn his head if he wanted to hear her. Shaking her head, she was running out of ideas, and standing there wasn't making anything better.

She finally decided to sit on the ground, almost in front of the guy, but still a bit to his left. Sighing as the sunset wasn't fully in her view, she perked up as she remembered her powers. Closing her eyes as she sat there, she made it so that where she was looking was above the trees, so she could see the full affect of the sun. "Beautiful." She said with a smile.
