Vince felt slightly warmer and instantly remembered that Ember could use her fire powers. He saw that she was only powering them up, and knew he had to be careful of his next move. He thought for an attack, walking slowly around Ember like a wolf would. He then suddenly pounced at Ember, hoping to pin her down. He didn't want to hurt her... he just wanted to teach her not to mess with him.

Ember could feel it. She could tell Vince was ready to attack, and so was she. Slowly, he began circling her until in one quick move, he pounced on her throwing her to the ground; but the second she hit the ground, her legs flew into position and kicked Vince, hoping she had enough strength to get him off of her. Jeez, talk about being defensive...

Just as Vince landed on Ember, she has kicked him and he already lost grip of her. He landed on the ground, failing to do so on his feet. If only I was able to be more... human... in these forms. He got up, and transformed back into his human form. He decided that now was not a good time to fight someone. She may have insulted him, but she was not his enemy. He apologised to her by a simple "Sorry" with no emotion in his word.

Ember's kick worked successfully and she couldn't help but give an extremely small grin. Vine transformed back into his human form and gave a blank, emotionless apology. What so now he doesn't want to fight? Ember sneared inside while on the outside she said:

"Yeah, whatever. You don't just attack someone because of one little comment you know." Ember remembered how her dad once told her that giving in to insults quickly shows a sign of both weakness and strength, but she should know how to control them. She thought about saying that to Vince, but instead, flung herself onto the roof and sat on the edge and began to think.

This was not a good move Vince saw that Ember jumped on to the roof, and obviously wanted to be left alone. No matter. Vince looked at the sky and thought about what just happened there. He smiled slightly - he was impressed by her fighting skills. Then he had an idea. "Say, need some training? We could perhaps exchange our skills." Vince didn't think she'd say yes, but he wouldn't know. Besides, it gave him a good excuse to use his sword.

The light breeze and sky gave the chance for Ember to cool down a bit, to reflect on what had just happened.

"Say, need some training? We could perhaps exchange our skills."

Ember couldn't believe it, he was asking her is she needed training? "You train me? I think it's the other way around, Vince." Her tone was slightly sarcastic with a hint of i'm-better-than-you. By this time, she had slid herself to the very edge of the roof, so her feet were currently dangling off the edge.

Vince smiled slightly - she was partially right, but maybe she didn't have skills he had. He jumped twelve feet into the air, performing a triple somersault, and landed on the small building, barely missing her hand. "It could be the both of us you know," he said with a small laugh. He could barely see Jason. He remained quiet for a long time. But Vince didn't speak to him. If he doesn't wanna talk, don't talk to him.

Vince preformed a triple somersault and landed right next to Ember, barely
missing her fingers. "Nice jump." She commented.

"It could be the both of us you know."

At first, Ember didn't understand what he ment, then, she thought she knew
what he was saying, but realized that no, not really. "Huh?" She asked with
confusion. She thought of r a moment that maybe he ment that they could work
together or something, but she wasn't sure.

Vince could see that Ember was confused about what he said, so he made things clear for her. "I meant that we might both need a bit of training... unless you want it to mean something else." Vince was, of course, talking about going out sometime, but Vince knew from past experience that he was not good at chat-up lines.

"Oh..." Ember blushed out of embarassment. Or something else... Was he hint of a date with Ember? She thought for a moment about it. Did she want to go out with a guy who got defensive over a comment? She didn't know, though there was something intriguing about Vince..."Hey Vince, do you wanna go catch a movie later or something?" She asked, keeping herself completely calm, her tone absolutely casual.
