"Probably just english and gym. The one good thing about not having powers is that I don't have to take any of the 'Learning to Control you Powers' classes." He ignored her comment about making friends.
His gaze moved to Vince. "What about you? Know what classes you're going to take?" Jason hoped this question would take the focus off of him.

Ember felt a little awkwardaround Jason, like she was unwanted. She tried to shake it off, but it returned conintuously, until it finally disappeared. Jason had mentioned that he didn't have to take the "learning how to control your powers class", which Ember had forgotten about as well.

He then had directed attention over to Vince, asking him about his classes. Ember also turned her attention to Vince and tried hard not to pay attention to Jason, but there was something about him that she just couldn't ignore.

To answer Jason's question, Vince hesitated slightly, followed by the answer "Maths." He looked down at the ground, suddenly feeling like a bit of a geek, even though he knew that there are others who are worse... probably in this school. He looked back up, trying hard to keep the conversation going because he had nothing better to do, but could not think of anything.

((OoC: I was pretty sure I posted that earlier. Is it just me?))

"Ugh, how I hate Math.." Ember grumbled when Vince said he was taking that class. "I could never understand it.." Emer laughed. "I have one question for you Vince, you don't, like, love Math, do you? You know, like one of those nerdy guys who works ahead in Math and almost teaches himself, are you?" Ember thought for a second that maybe she had exagerated a little on him taking Maths. I mean, big deal, so he takes Math. Doesn't necessarily mean he's a geeky Math boy..

'Soo..." Ember started, wondering what to talk about next.

"I'm not a big math fan either," Jason said. I hope this guy doesn't really love math, or Ember might have ticked him off. He paused. Then again, seeing him start a fight over being called a nerd would be entertaining. He surpressed a smile as he pictured the confrontation.
He looked up then and realzied that unless Vince's answer to Ember's question branched off, then they'd hit a dead end with their conversation. He began tossing around topics in his head, but couldn't think of anything the other two might pick up on.

When Vince heard Ember indirectly calling him a nerd, he became quite angry. HE loved maths, so according to Ember's theory, he's a nerd. He tried to calm himself down, but was too tempted to transform himself into a vicious wolf, this time black in fur and with teeth slightly larger than a normal wolf would. Vince obviously intended this to make himself appear more threatening. Nobody calls Vince Burrel a nerd

((OoC: This post has been inspired by Master's post. Thanks, Master.))

Ember could almost immediately tell that her comment had offended Vince, which hadn't truely been her intention. She could see that he began looking at her with overwhelming anger, but she wasn't scared. Big deal, so i indirectly called him a nerd. He shouldn't take it so personally, it's not that big of a deal. How sad. She thought bitterly. She didn't know why she was getting annoyed by this, she just was.

Vince slowly approached Ember and started growling. It was low-pitched, loud and hopefully scary. He could see that Ember was not scared at all, so he waited for her to make a move. Any move would do for him: as far as he was concerned, she was trapped. Deep inside him, Vince didn't want to do this. He just didn't know that yet.

Jason blinked. Well, I guess I don't need to try to think of a topic. He crossed his arms and leaned back against the wall, wondering what would happen. He doubted Vince would try to attack him, so he was free to watch.
Looking from Vince to Ember he could see that they were both angry now. With their powers this should be pretty interesting.

Vince was mad, Ember could tell. He had begun growling in a faint tone with an attempt to scare her. At first, Ember was a bit scared, but she took a deep breath and the fear vanished. She wasn't afraid of Vince. Ember wasn't truely in the mood to fight, but Vince's annoyence with her one little comment got her annoyed and mad as well. She could feel her hands slowly heating up, preparing to use them if it was necessary. If Vince wanted to fight, fine. Ember had no problem with that, she'd be ready.
