Vince answered Ember's first question with a quiet "No." He looked at her face, joining the 'guess the age' game. "I'm 17," he said, unaware that Ember and the male student were trying to guess his age.

"You haven't been here long? Me neither, i'm new too." Ember smiled and laughed lightly. Could i come off any more girly??. When Vince said that he was 17, she was suprised to know that they were the same age, since to her, he looked slightly older by a year to two. "Really? Me too..." Ember took a long pause, trying to think up some more small talk. "So, what kind of power to you posses?"

Vince heard the question clearly, and morphed quickly into a grey wolf. He tried saying "That," but a roar just came out. Why can't I speak when I'm an animal? He morphed back to his human form and said "That," making sure it was english and not wolfish or something. He then jumped on top of the small building that housed a door and a set of stairs and said "and that." He ran down the wall of that building, jumped off it, and fell towards the ground when he grabbed onto a window ledge and pulled himself back to the roof.

"Wow, that's really cool," Ember said. "Too bad you can't speak while you're a wolf though."

"My power on the other hand..." Ember distanced herself a few feet away from Vince before lighting her left hand, transforming it into a bright red flame and throwing what she called a "Spitting Torch", whcih was a basically a giant tube of fire gowing a long distance before she twirled it back with her fingers and made it disappear. "As well as..." She gave a running start before doing several air flips, turning her body in ways that looked impossible for a person to do.

She ran up the wall of the building with the door and staris to the roof, grabbed hold of the edge, swung herself to the top and gave a triple axel back flip, before landing only a few inches from Vincent's face, gracefully as a cat. "That's my power. Fire. The other one, i sorta just have a knack for," Ember said witha smile.

Jason was a bit more interested now, but frowned as he watched the other two preform their powers. Well, I'm going to be quite a let down...
He stepped foreward and said, "Impressive. I'm Jason, I'm 17 too." He paused, then continued, "And as for my powers-" He shrugged. "Don't have any. This place allows me to stay and I practice my fighting-but there's nothing 'magical' about it."

The other guy, who hadn't spoken about a word, finally spoke up and gave his name. Jason. "Hi, I'm Ember," She said with a wave. "So, Jason, have you been here long?" Jason said that he didn't have any powers, tha he only knew how to fight, and Ember was curious to find out how he got here. " That's interesting..So, if you don't have any powers, how do you manage to stay?" Ember didn't mean this in a bad way, but she wanted to know.

Vince stood looking at Ember, amazed that he met someone who could run up walls like he can. When he heard Jason say his name and lack of powers, he wondered: Maybe he just didn't discover any powers yet, or maybe he's hiding something. Who knows? Not Vince. He just asked "How did you get here?" forgetting that Ember already asked the same question... but he was curious.

Ember hadn't really paid any attention to Vince repeating what she had just asked Jason because she was sort of lost in thought. She was happy that she met someone new, and that he was cool and all. Emeber continued then to question on Jason and his loss for powers. Maybe he just hasn't discovered them yet, and that's why they ley him in...or maybe he just has connections, but even so, why would he want to come here? Where he's different from the rest?

"I don't know why they let me stay. I heard about this school in the town not to far away, and I came to check it out." He glanced at the landscape again, "It didn't take me too long to figure out that most people here have powers, but I met the Headmistress and she said I could stay as long as I took some classes." He thought about the classes he would take this year, he hadn't chosen any yet, not that he'd actually attend them, he just had to sign up.
"Anyway, I needed a place to stay, so here I am. Tada." He scowled at the ground. Well, now that i've given them my life story I get to hear them pick me apart. He continued to glare at the ground as he replayed the other two's powers in his head. Great, no matter how much a practice, I won't be able to do that, what a wonderful fighter I am.

Ember was a little confused to why the Headmisstress would let Jason stay when he didn't have any powers..but she let it pass. It wasn't her buisiness anyway. "I haven't picked my classes either.." Ember had actually almost completely forgot about choosing her classes. "Well, since you're here, at least you ge to make friends right?"

"So what classes are you planning on taking? I still don't know."
