Seyyal gave a somewhat confused looking frown as Maddie was suddenly made uncomfortable enough to pull away. Not to mention a slight sinking in the pit of her own stomach as Evie teased her for attracting girls to her- was it true? She was around mostly girls for pretty much all of her life, but that just felt like normal friendship she thought. "It's not like... wait, hey you thief!" She cut herself off as she realized that Evie was trying to drink from the cup she'd rested on her leg. A momentary distraction enough to let her pull her thoughts together.

And it looked like Maddie had the same idea of segueing into another topic. Although Seyyal wasn't very enthused about that change in topics. Jazz's slightly antisocial demeanor, or at least hyper focus on Maddie, meant she wouldn't have much to go on there as far as conversation. And she watched as the girl received a tiny drink that seemed to be like Evie's and her own but without the bright and tangy fruit juice to balance it a little. Clearly bluffing, and badly, with the claims about liking it. "Uh huh. I think maybe....," she trailed off as Maddie then dragged Jazz away to jazz up some other kind of drink for her.

With her friend Maddie and the very nervous Jazz separated from the rest of them for a bit Seyyal looked back at Evie. Glanced at the drink and then shrugged, leaving her to have it as she requested another from the bartender. "Well, turns out you're wrong. They're leaving just as fast as they're coming," she quipped with a nervous chuckle and then realized what Evie was doing with her long, pointed gazes. "You'll have to try a lot harder if you want me to squirm. At least you're not a toothless grey-haired man twice my age," she challenged Evie with a significant amount of false bravado.

'Why am I egging her on? this can't end well' she thought as she took a sip of her new drink.

The nervousness on display wasn’t lost on Evie.

She watched the rest of the girls with an expression of obvious mischief, tempted to comment some more on their denials, though once they all started quickly changing the subject she decided to spare them further torment, just for the moment. She stuck her tongue out at Seyyal’s callout, then giggled at just how obvious it was that Jazz was struggling. But before she was even able to make a joke on that, Maddie was dragging Jazz away, and soon it was just them at the bar again.

“And then there were two…” Evie shrugged as well, continuing to watch Seyyal with that same mischievous expression. She chugged the remainder of her own drink, before letting go of the cup, along with the stolen drink. They were both left floating in mid-air as Evie rotated back around, planting her feet on the ground again. She held her gaze. Oh boy, was she not gonna pass that challenge up.

“Wow, rude. Just because I got my hair like this doesn’t mean you should compare me to some old creep. I’m way too cute for that.” She giggled, before sauntering over to her, crossing the small distance between them. “But come on, don’t tell me you haven’t had girls throwing themselves at you before. You’re tall, strong and pretty. I can just imagine it now, you rescuing some damsel in distress from a bunch of goblins or something, only for them to just collapse into those big strong arms of yours.”

She idly rested an arm on the bartop as she stepped up close until they were barely a few feet apart. Evie leaned in, gazing up at her face, batting her eyes and flashing a coquettish smile.

“Wouldn’t it feel nice to just sweep a girl off their feet like that?”

Just as they down their drink, Cyril heard a familiar voices over the growing crowd. Lyric perked up, grimacing from the poignant taste of the vodka as his brother nudged him. They both turned around, beaming as they came face to face with Azu and Bel.

”Well look who showed up!” Cyril laughed, folding his arms across his chest. ”I didn’t know you guys got invited!”

Having other people he knew here put Lyric’s mind at ease. ”Hey guys!” He chirped right after his brother’s greeting. ”And Bel, it’s been awhile, how have you been?”

Unfortunately, his quiet voice was being drowned out by the blaring trap music. Cyril gestured them over to the alcohol table, beginning to pour another drink.

”C’mon! Do you guys have any faves? I’m a tequila sunrise kinda guy myself, but we can’t exactly hold our liquor.” He said as he offered to fix them a drink.

Seyyal squinted as Evie turned up the 'charm' as it were. Of course she did, Seyyal had walked right into that with her effectively challenging the girl to see how far she could take it.

She took exactly two, small, steps back and lowered her drink in front of her. A slight barrier in case Evie tried coming even closer without permission. "I wouldn't say anyone is really ever throwing themselves at me. Guy or girl. But I suppose I've had a few people tell me they enjoyed my company." It was said with a very deliberately straight face. She was trying to keep from, as she said, letting Evie see her squirm.

"Maybe I would rather be swept off my feet," she smirked. "Just because I'm athletic and know my way around a sword doesnt mean I cant be the damsel if I want to. But what about you? Do you have much success with all the teasing? Are you turning many people's worlds upside down?"

"Who says we were invited?" Bel quipped back easily. "Maybe we are two trouble-making party crashers," she added with a wide grin. Then still smiling, she greeted Lyric. "Hey, Lyric... Good to see too, I've just been really busy with cheerleading duties."

Azucena just shook her head at Bel's comment but smiled all the same, extremely relieved and happy to see the twins at the party too.

"I don't really know," Azucena confessed as she looked in awe at the drinks table, unsure of what to ask for since she rarely, if ever, drank alcohol. She only knew she disliked the taste of beer. However, she didn't want the rest to think she was a wet blanket.

"I'll have a White Russian," she said confidently, naming a drink she had only heard from movies.

"Nice choice," Bel said to Azu's choice, glancing at her friend appreciatively. "I'll have the same actually," she said to Cyril.

This wasn't working out.

Sage realized that she had to actually approach people. Hanging out in the corner was, to put it bluntly, weird. She wasn't going to be the weird girl who loomed in the shadows while everyone else had their fun.

So she started moving around to look for any familiar faces. Someone from her classes or people in her club or... Seyyal! Seyyal was at this party! Sage immediately made her way towards her, then began slowing down as she neared. The last thing Sage wanted to do was interrupt her conversation with another girl. Sage waited for a lull in the conversation before yelling out a "Seyyal!" so her voice wouldn't be drowned out by the other partygoers. "How has the party been for you two?"

Shiro loved parties, always had and she'd developed a knack for tracking them down. So upon hearing of the party the young cat girl would quickly make her way to it, slipping in. Her golden eyes would look over the party trying to spot someone she knew before slipping over to one of the tables and grabbing a drink.

In truth it'd been a while since she'd been to any sort of party, but lately she'd been feeling that itch for one. So here she was, she'd take a sip from her drink, her tail swaying behind her as she tried to decide who she'd approach first.

Evie wasn't deterred by her stony-faced response, simply giggling. She let Seyyal keep her distance for the moment, instead casually resting against the bar, keeping that flirty gaze on her.

"Hmm? I like to think I have enough experience to know what I'm doing. If you'd rather be swept off your feet that can be arranged..."

Before she could continue another girl showed up. Evie gave Seyyal a smug look that seemed to say "See? More girls asking for you," before looking Sage up and down.

"Hey!" She said with a short wave, one of the discarded floating drinks making their way back to her hand. "It's been fun so far. That's a nice outfit you got there, by the way."

She wiggled her eyebrows up and down as she sipped her other drink.

Before she had fully recovered from the awfulness that was her first shot, Jazz found herself being whisked away from the others, watching with equal parts interest and trepidation as Maddie concocted something else for her. She couldn't help but cringe a bit when she saw her reach for the vodka, but wanted to give Maddie the benefit of the doubt nonetheless.

Being handed a bubbling green mystery cup, the bear girl blinked at it a few times, trying to decide if she was supposed to throw it back like she had the shot. However, after giving a cautious sip, her eyebrows raised in surprise at the inoffensive taste.

"O-oh, wow. The other stuff really masks the flavor. Um, still has some burn, but it's good." Smiling faintly now, she went in for another one armed hug, then pulled back and sipped again. "...So. I, uh, haven't ever really been to something like this before. I'm not a hundred percent sure what I'm...y'know. Supposed to do."

Seyyal had trouble coming up with a retort to Evie threatening... or promising, to sweep her off her feet. It wasn't entirely clear whether she was actually just messing with her or really inclined that way but Seyyal paused to think of what to say.

Fortunately she was rescued by her friend's approach and she could easily tune out the suggestive look Evie was turning her way as she greeted Sage warmly, "Sage! I'm so glad to see you here." She beckoned her to approach almost a little too enthusiastically. "I guess it's been... interesting. Though i'm only about...," she paused as she did the rough mental math. Two drinks ordered minus the majority of the one still floating around via Evie, minus what was still in her cup. "I guess about a third of a drink in? Evie here is trying to convince me that people swoon over me when I don't wear my armor."
