The only guy in his dorm had made an appearance, but hadn't actually bothered to introduce himself. That was fine - none of them seemed overly talkative anyway.
Minnie was... alright. Well, she obviously didn't want to be there, but what teenager did?
"Not often," he said. "The point was more to do introductions. You should know who you're living beside. If you need something, your roommate and your neighbors are the first people you should be talking to."
He wasn't going to call them siblings. They were too close to being actual adults. But that was part of the idea of the whole dorm parent thing.
"Don't have any house rules yet," he answered Bel. "If I come up with any, I'll..." He glanced over his shoulder. "Put them up on the board, probably." He reached back, tapping his knuckles on the whiteboard on the wall.
Euphemia--Mia, his brain autocorrected--was pretty neutral. Wary? Skeptical? Something like that. It was hard to tell if she had no emotions, or if she was just hiding them from others.
"Minimal," he answered. "You're all almost adults. The oldest of you ages out of my care in less than three months. If you need help, I'm here for it. If everyone's following the rules, there shouldn't be much of an issue. This isn't an elementary dorm, so we're not going to be doing regular group activities or anything. If someone wants to set up a TV night or something in the common area, we can do that, but I'm not planning on trying to force you all to be friends."
