Tea Date [Yumi X Lenn]

This was unexpected, but Ryunosuke loved it when things became unpredictable. Who knew the infamous Deadshot would appear in his tea house looking like she was about fifty shades of sick? It was amusing watching her face cross between mortified and squicked. Really, those faces looked good on her, but why was she here? She never dined on fine Japanese Cuisine. He didn't even know that she actually ate food. For some reason, the woman never ate anything in his presence. That actually bothered him for a couple of months. She was never a people-person (obviously) so why...

Suddenly, said 'reason' stood up and introduced herself. Miki Yumi...Ah, yes. He grinned in acknowledgement. She was the daughter of Miki, Suzaku, that rich bastard who reigned supreme as the tyrant of advanced technology. He could see the resemblance of her father in her eyes and the way this woman carried herself. All business, just like her father. Last he heard, she was supposed to inherit the business once Suzaku stepped down. Yes, he still kept up to date with all the big wigs in japan. Old habits died hard.

Still, what did Deadshot have to do with this woman? Was she still under contract with the company? Was this woman aware of what Deadshot really was? After Yumi's question of his familiarity with the mercenary, it suddenly dawned on him that no, she had absolutely no idea and that explained why she seemed so relaxed in a killer's presence.

Oh, and he finally figured out what her Deadshot's name was; Lenn. Honestly, he thought it would have been more unique like... Hell, he didn't know. She looked like an "Ash" to him.

Anyway, he knew he had all the power in this room right now to completely shit on Lenny's day and judging from the look on her face, she knew it too. A single peep from him, and it'd be all over for her. Was Lenn undercover or something? He had no idea. The woman had gone underground for years. Luckily for her, Ryunosuke still held some bit of respect for her. She was an excellent partner and one hell of an enemy in the past.

"Ah, forgive my rudeness!" he bowed to Yumi, " And thank you for your compliments, Miki-sama. This establishment is large enough to hold a public area...as well as a private section for business meetings and other special occasions. We also have a natural spring you can enjoy after your meal." Despite his intimidating size, he tried to come off as friendly as possible...Even if the scar across the bridge of his nose always made conversation a challenge. "I used to work with good ol' Lenny when I stayed in the states. My job always had me traveling to the U.S. all the time! He stroked his goatee in thought. "What was it that you did again? You know how bad my memory is."

.......................................................................................................................................

Oh my gawd. It's ova'. All of this is ova'. She's gonna foind out an'—

The 'wasabi' suddenly became more unbearable and while Yumi was distracted, Lenn hurriedly poured herself some more tea and chugged down the boiling beverage to wash the taste off her tongue. It did help a little, but some of that bitterness still lingered as she watched them converse helplessly.

Ryunosuke Kodama was perhaps one of the few people she ever came close to trusting back in the old days. He was a stubborn, but a good man who's fate was tied with the Yakuza. Unlike most of them, Ryunosuke actually seemed concerned about his men and always put himself head first into the danger. Working with him was a unique experience. Going up against him was something she honestly didn't want to do again. The men called him many names; one of them being the 'Black Dragon' in which she always gave him shit for just because it was such a lame nickname. The last time they fought, he showed her the reason why he gained such a name. Lenn wouldn't be the least be surprised if he still held some kind of grudge against her for killing a generous amount of his men. Business was business, but still.

They were still talking and...There were no horrified stares sent her way. No obscenities and things like 'stay away from Jacob and my daughter' or any motion in calling the police. If anything, the stares her way were more of her corroborating with Ryunosuke's sort-of-phony story. She couldn't believe it. "Yeh'...Oy' worked as his secretary fer a bit...Temp job," Lenn simply went along with it and ate up another piece of sushi to gain a bit of confidence. The red slice of fish was refreshing and put her at ease. That was...alright. As long as he didn't open his mouth and say anything more on the matter. It was shocking. The old man sucked at lying before. Maybe his night-job made him better at it.

Ryunosuke returned his attention to Yumi and he offered his hand. " I am Kodama, Ryunosuke. You may call me whatever you please and I hope you two enjoy your stay."

Lenn might not have noticed, and the GM himself might not have noticed as well, but Yumi certainly picked up on the lack of immediacy regarding the GM's response. Unless the GM was poorly mannered, and unfit for his position, there was something else occupying his mind when Yumi requested an explanation. Perhaps it had something to do with the look he was giving Lenn. It was a look that carried more meaning and familiarity than would have been expected.

Yumi's own bow came immediately, mirroring the GM's. Such was the protocol. She was surprised by his reply. None of the other Chashitsu she had visited had possessed a "public area". She nodded approvingly, acknowledging the beneficial nature of expanding the clientele demographic. She would have to see if the other Chashitsus were doing the same thing.

Her gaze slid over to Lenn, calm yet demanding. She wanted an explanation, and she was expecting something of substance. What Yumi got was something that sounded credible and believable, but lacked just enough detail to leave a question mark or two remaining in her head. A "temp job" seemed sketchy, even if it wasn't a made up position. What was the GM doing there in the states that required a secretary on a temporary basis? Why was Lenn temping at all? Granted, maybe it was just Yumi's rich upbringing that made her suspicious of the practice in general.

"I see. Well, isn't this just a nice coincidence you two meeting up again in this place, hm?"

She turned her attention back to Kodama, leaving Lenn with those mysterious words.

"Mister Kodama, you've piqued my interest. I wish to see these natural springs you say you have, and then perhaps treat both myself and Lenn to a private dip. Can that be arranged?"

She had jumped off buildings, gone against hordes of soldiers, traveled the world, and assassinated the most notorious and dangerous criminals human kind had to offer...
Yet, this was the most terrifying moment. Ever. Yumi's gaze seemed to last for eternity as she assessed Lenn's half-assed explanation. The woman was a sharp as a tack. Nothing ever went by this woman unnoticed and Lenn was running on steam at this rate. How much more of this could she handle?

Right when Lenn thought she was off the hook, Yumi decided to leave her a cryptic message before she turned her attention to the owner. What...What did that even mean? What was that supposed to mean?! Did she not buy it? Was she onto something? Lenn mulled over this as she helped herself to more sushi. It almost felt like...Yumi was letting her off the hook. For now. Jesus chroist, wot is this? A bloodeh investigation?! Lenn finally accepted the fact that she wasn't very good at this whole incognito bullshit. She was tempted to just give it straight to Yumi...But then what would happen after that? Would she be terrified? Revolted? Would she suddenly ditch the tea house, scoop up Chiru at the zoo, and jump on the next flight? Would she keep Jacob from seeing Chiru for personal safety reasons?

Okay, oy' confess. Oy'm a retired merc. Oy' use'ta kill bad guys fer a livin an' yer daddeh hired me when you were lil'. Any questions? Lenn rolled her eyes at herself. That was dumb. At least Yumi wasn't looking.

.........................................................................................................................................

Back to business, Ryunosuke focused his attention on the lovely Yumi. She was sharp as hell and somehow, he had the feeling that she didn't really take the bait. Lenn was going to have a blast with this one--especially since she was suggesting a private soak in the springs. She was probably doing this not only for the springs, but to perhaps corner Lenn into spilling more about herself. There wasn't much he could do for the poor woman. It was out of his hands now. "But of course!" he happily obliged with a clap of his big hands. "I'll have one of my girls set you lovely ladies up. Well, I must be going," he bowed once again to Yumi. "It was an honor meeting you, Miki-sama. Enjoy your stay!" He nodded to Lenn as well, mouthing off a 'nice seeing you' before he left the women to tend to more guests.

Once the two were ready for the springs, the hostess returned as Ryunosuke promised and guided them to the dressing room. All the anemities they needed were provided as well as a locker to keep their belongings in. Once the hostess left them to their devices, Lenn frowned just a little. "Oy' didn' expect ta go to th' spring...Oy' didn't bring a swimsuit." She chuckled just a little, "Oy mean, wot. Don' tell me ya git nekid in these public springs."

Taking a dip in the springs served more than one purpose for Yumi, and Lenn was indeed one of them. Yumi was using less of her professional and business acumen in this case. She was running more on her gut feeling, which technically was also a technique that could be used in business albeit very rarely and sparingly. If anyone was to use hot springs for professional purposes, it would not have been her traditionally. That kind of stuff was, for better or worse, expected more from businessmen.

Hopefully getting out of the traditional setting would alter enough their circumstances to either make Lenn more open to Yumi, or put her less on guard. Worst case scenario: They both just get a nice relaxing dip and Yumi would just let all of her suspicions melt away in the steam.

"Thank you for your hopsitality, Mister Kodama."

Yumi bowed as well before gathering up her thing to follow the hostess to the springs.

At the lockers, Yumi was already stripping down before Lenn even finished making her quip. Her blouse was already off completely, folded neatly and tidily in the locker, and her nearly sheer lace brassiere was coming off.

"You can if you wish. Traditionally, you would just wrap yourself in a bathing towel if you were feeling... modest."

There was almost an audible sneer in her words as she turned to face Lenn, fully stripped down and with everything on display. She was a woman with a well-maintained body. Though not as muscular as Jacob was, Yumi's yoga and Pilates regime showed clearly. She was taut and gravity had yet to touch her assets, and she kept her nicely groomed all over.

She stood confident with a hand on her hip as she waited for Lenn to decide what she wanted to do.

"If you fear a voyeur, I can confidently say that we are in no danger of such a thing. And if there was one, I'd make sure they are punished severely and accordingly. For both of us."

One thing to note while Yumi stood completely nude in front of Lenn: Jacob had a few tattoos, which Lenn was no doubt familiar with. One of his tattoos was half of a Yin Yang symbol on his left hip. He once describe that the other half was on Yumi, in a place that "matched up" with his when they used to be together. Yumi was completely free of any ink in that locker room. Apparently she had it removed.

If she was feeling...modest.

Oooohhhh. There she went again with the way she poked at Lenn with a verbal stick. She couldn't tell if Yumi was challenging her or making a jab at her career choice or...both. Lenn briefly contemplated on various things to make her discomfort disappear as Yumi faced away from her. Then again...Maybe Yumi was curious about Lenn's physique. Like, what more did Jacob like about her than just personality? That was probably it...Yeah. Even for a lingerie model, Lenn didn't like the idea of getting naked in front of other people except for Jacob. It was a weird kind of thing she had and it often puzzled the people who requested those kind of shoots. Whatever. Lenn's brows knitted with determination. She wanted to see her naked? Fine! Challenge accepted! The first step was the easiest; the blouse came off with ease and--

Once she undid the last button, she pulled it free and looked to see a...very naked Yumi standing before her."Oh....That was fast." Lenn took several tries to get her shirt into the locker considering she wasn't looking at her hands. Don't do it. Eyes be damned, they began to wander slowly from head to toe...Then suddenly around the hip region. Then her gaze was briefly stuck on the fact that she could have sworn she saw something glimmering. Sure enough, the diamond was there...down there...in plain sight. Didn't that hurt to normal women?...

Suddenly, Yumi spoke up again, this time concerning voyeur in which Lenn was assuming another name for 'peeping toms'. Eyes immediately focused back on Yumi's face. This...This must be Yumi challenging her. That's gotta be it. She wanted to see whether Lenn had the guts or not. God, this was the most tense tea date ever. Weren't these supposed to be relaxing!?

"Naw! Oy'm not scared," she chuckled and waved it off. "Oy'm sure they got this place unda' control," Eventually everything else came off and was piled into the locker. Even the hair had become undone which ended way past her backside and ended past the knees. She grabbed a thick lock of salt and pepper hair. "Huh...Should get a haircut..." she muttered. While Yumi's figure was more elegant and smooth, Lenn's physique was a bit more defined when it came to muscle. There was clear definition in her arms, legs, and back which showed her discipline when it came to physical fitness.

Despite the many dangerous missions she had, her body remained scar free except for a particular one on neck. It was a two inch slice on the left. The wound was slightly jagged. She honestly didn't recall how in the world that managed to stay when Jacob asked about it. It was the only scar that still remained. The rest always melted away and to avoid others from asking, she normally wore her hair over the left shoulder just to cover it up. Either that, or she used other accessories to cover it up. Today seemed like the perfect day to forget about it once she undid her hair.

Lenn also took notice of the absence of ink on Yumi's body, but didn't say a word. She remembered asking Jacob about his tattoo since it seemed incomplete. It didn't matter anyway. Probably saw no point in keeping the tattoo since they separated. "C'mon now. S'gettin' cold!" She went on ahead and got first dibs in the spring! The water was just right and settling into it made her worries melt away. For now.

Lenn saw it, and Yumi knew it. The eyes traveling up and down her body were one thing. She was used to being looked at, even with her clothes on. It was her hurdle to surmount in boardrooms as an attractive, but powerful woman. She never feared the gaze of men because she knew that she would stomp them out of the company in due time. Sometimes she even dared them by dressing as she did with Lenn, professional but alluring in that "tight business suit" kind of way. She found it empowering.

But Lenn had seen her little secret, and Yumi knew it from the way Lenn's eyes refused to move from their downward gaze for a few moments. She had seen the one thing that she let herself go "wild" on. While Yumi was no Puritan in her personal life, she was still upright and serious most of the time. But that little diamond piercing... down there, was the one time she let herself not think and just acted. Acted for no reason other than her own thrill, and she loved how she could keep it secret from everyone.

She moved her hand down to "cover" herself out of "embarrassment". In truth, she was moving her hand down to cover the fact that her "excitement" had begun to show, and maybe give herself a little attention while she was down there.

"Oh my. My apologies. I sometimes forget about my little... good luck charm."

There was a lilting playfulness in her voice that had never been heard before, even if her face still looked as serious as ever. Though a devilish little smile was just barely being held back. Yumi's ability to remain nearly completely composed under any circumstances was at play again, but for a completely different reason.

"I trust Mister Kodama has things under control too."

Yumi remained a second behind as she found it difficult to take her hand away from herself. It had been subtle-ish enough for Yumi to believe that Lenn had not noticed. But did she actually care?

The water was just the right kind of hot. Steam filled the beautifully painted and decorated room. It was obviously one of the premium springs in the building, and Yumi was going to enjoy it. The moment she started melting into the water across from Lenn, her suspicions regarding Lenn began to seem to trivial. It had been way too long since she had been to a spring, or even allowed herself some time off from the company.

She sighed happily and showed a genuinely relaxed smile as she sunk in up to her neck in the water.

"Ooooooh myyyy... This is... This is great. Mister Kodama must have sprung for real mineral water. This is definitely getting a recommendation from me."

Yumi lulled her head to the side and closed her eyes peacefully.

".... Have you ever thought about getting some body jewelry yourself, Lenn?"

It was probably a good thing Lenn was the first one to immediately bolt for the spring. Things had gotten a little...heated? Oddly arousing? Weird? Lenn managed to get ahead just in time before Yumi got to see how red her pale cheeks got when she was backed into a corner and flustered. Sure, it wasn't the first time she had seen kinky pieces of body jewelry. Women who hung around criminal scum weren't exactly the cream of the crop... And well, this was the first time she had ever seen such a piercing...Down there. It was a pretty bold statement. There was clearly more to the prim and proper Yumi and Lenn briefly got a taste of it.

The way she was looking at her...Naw, no way.

Still, that was quite the sight. Yumi was a very attractive woman in more ways than just looks. She couldn't blame Jacob for getting to her first.

Thankfully, the steam that filled the room did wonders to calm Lenn's nerves. The water was hot, soothing, and she already feeling like a million bucks as the two of them soaked. In fact, the both of them sighed right at the same time. " Oy' second that." They both agreed on something for a change. This was probably her most favorite part of the tea house. Ryunosuke had done a great job with the place. Even the custom painted walls were a nice touch.

The silence between the two was suddenly cut short when Yumi asked Lenn about body jewelry. Now, that was actually something to think about. She never thought about getting piercings anywhere on her body; not even her ears. There was something unnerving about the idea of sticking needles through portions of her body. Speaking of that, she wasn't even sure if she could ever managed to keep piercings. Her body was still a mystery even to her after all. Wounds like scratches always healed up in an instant. Gunshots took several hours. The more severe the wound, the longer it took to heal. The plus side was that she healed much faster than a normal human. The downside was that she probably couldn't enjoy the 'wild' things like body jewelry or tattoos.

Oh well. Somday. It didn't hurt to try. Worst case scenario, she'd freak out the tattoo parlor.

"Mmgh...No, neva' thought 'bout that stuff. Not realleh a fan of needles. Oy'm surprised you got one yerself...Did it hurt?"

Yumi was enjoying the springs more than she had anticipated. The soothing steam and comforting warmth felt nice and relaxing. Her previous plan to use the springs to get Lenn off-guard went almost completely out of the window, or possibly it was turned against herself. Whatever the case, all she wanted to do now was unwind and soak in the wonderful waters.

"It hurt a little. Which was to be expected. But after the weeks of research..."

She lulled head to the other side.

"... Several interviews with possible piercers to find the right one..."

Her head swayed back with her eyes still closed.

"... days of preparation on both her and my part... Including picking out the right jewel..."

Leaning back, she looked up at the foggy ceiling.

"... It all came together and went super smoothly."

A smile etched itself across her lips as she recalled finally seeing the finished result. The days of soreness and adjustment that came afterward felt worth it. Her finger casually flicked across the diamond, sending a visible shudder through her body.

"And after all of that, it was still the wildest thing I've ever done. It felt amazing to have this little secret that went against everything I had been taught, and was counter to everything I was doing. It's STILL amazing. To know that I got this beauty right here, hidden away, while I conquer boardrooms and control entire buildings..."

Yumi began chuckling to herself as she sat back up and looked over at Lenn.

"Strangely enough, I think you're the only person who knows of this, much less seen it. I haven't had the chance to give someone else the chance to see it. It's almost pitiful when you think about it..."

Unlike Jacob, Yumi had not had the opportunity to reignite her intimate life after the separation. Not that she was truly suffering from the lack of it. She had just been incredibly busy and caught up in her work, which she took great pride in. Then there was the time she took for Chiru. But that left very little room for looking for a man, or even just getting time off. Having an empty bed was hardly a problem when she was thankful to just get a full night's rest in it.

Lenn realized that Yumi was finally winding down, the suspicions regarding the vague explanations of her past beginning to melt away in the mineral water. Maybe the springs weren't such a bad idea after all. She also learned something new today; piercings of this caliber took...a lot of time to prepare for, which made sense considering it was in a very delicate area. She probably had to worry about a ton of stuff...Like if the piercer was a professional, infections, and whatever other things that came along with it since money was obviously not an issue.

That was probably the most exciting day Yumi ever had. To do something completely out of character, to step outside of the box for just a moment...and to have the power to keep it a secret from everyone else...Hah. Lenn knew how that was...Only, discovering her secret wasn't exactly exciting. More like terrifying or disgusting if Yumi had as much morals as Jacob, if not more. Jacob was the only one to know her secret and as far as Lenn was concerned, he was the first and last.

Apparently, Lenn was the first to know of Yumi's secret treasure. "Oh? Realleh?" she arched a brow and scratched the back of her head. It made sense though. She was a business woman and judging from the company she was taking over, there was always a considerable amount of work to be done. With companies like that, business never ended and the work was always going to pile up the next day. Plus, she had Chiru to attend to and take care of...So Lenn understood that. Yumi didn't have time to go find a man. "Naw, s'not pitiful at all. You have a lot on yer plate," Lenn helpfully pointed out and relaxed against the neatly arranged rocks. " As fah' as oy'm concerned, yer an amazing woman. Takin' ova' a business, raisin' Chiru, neva' realleh havin' toime fer yerself... S'alot. " She pulled her hair over her shoulder. " You'll find a good man t'share yer secret with... So in the meantime, don' worry. Yer lil' secret is safe with me. Noice choice on the diamond by the way. Gives your uh..." she gestured, " A noice touch." literally.

"A lot on her plate" was a bit of an understatement. On any given day Yumi was faced with a multitude of decisions concerning the Miki corporation itself, or any of the many smaller subsidiaries that worked with/for the Mikis. Sometimes she would be pouring over dozens of budget proposals or company reorganizations. Other times she would be attending meeting after meeting, learning what everyone else was up to and THEN making some kind of decision that would impact the bottom line or business relations or public perception. It was all so very busy and stressful. Any lesser woman would find their hair graying and their faces sagging after what Yumi does for days on end.

Yumi combed through their hair a few times lazily, guiding it to drape over her shoulders in a typical Godiva fashion. Lenn's compliment was quietly appreciated, shown by a gentle nod thrown her way.

"Thank you for the kind words. They feel so much better when they're said so simply. Rather than the PR speak I usually get."

She threw a small, honest smile Lenn's way. Maybe it was the mineral water and the steam, but she was feeling much better disposed toward Lenn. Perhaps it was the fact that she had revealed her most intimate secret to her too. When Lenn knew something so secret about Yumi, in a place so private, there was little need or purpose to putting up a front.

"Hehehe~ Yes. It certainly makes the prize seem more enticing, doesn't it?"

Beneath the water, Yumi squeezed her thighs together, sending a small shiver up her spine. This shiver was quickly followed by a small, exasperated sigh where Yumi ducked her head in the water for a second.

"Gaaaah... It is SO hard to find a man, Lenn. It's not like I'm only looking for a 'good' man either. It would be nice, of course, but right now it would be very nice to find someone just to... ride.

And Jacob's spoiled me. Do you know how hard it is find tall, muscular men in Japan? And I just gave up on trying to find someone with dark skin..."
