Though, it made a lot of sense that she understood where he was coming from. For him, the island was a new land full of food and foes. "I-I'm, yeah. His soul was just a bit too strong, so I had to weaken it." He paused and tapped his feet together. "Though, because you told me to leave him be, his soul was a lot harder to consume because he had healed quite a lot."

"Mine, too," Shay tittered. Her hand was being held, and she imagined how easy it would be to lean forward and kiss the cute boy beside her. The formalities were out the way, and Shay was feeling much more relaxed than before. Ice cream, though, was the last thing on her mind.
