Charlie was at it again.

The intelligence division hadn't put him on a new case yet, so he was bored out of his mind. He sat in his office with all the files organized just messing around on his computer. This was no fun, and he couldn't do either of his other jobs. This was usually the time he would bother Damon or someone, but this time he decided to pull some lulz. It was time for some pranks!

First step was getting a load of wasabi. The next step was getting into the kitchen unnoticed. The third step was adding wasabi to everyone's lunches. Then just step four was left. What was step four you asked?

Watching the fireworks of course! The moment lunch hour hit, he went out to find Damon's office and check in on him. He would just be rolling in for the usual conversation, shoot the breeze, then cackle as he watched the reactions of his fellow officers. The demon adjusted his fedora and moonwalked in. He stopped just in front of his desk. His hand hit the desk, and a big smirk decorated his face.

"Hey Dame! How's it going?"

Damon, sprawled out a bit with his legs on his desk and his chair leaned back, endless papers and files scattered around and on him as per the norm. He scribbled dutifully, sometimes leaned up to poke around at his desktop computer, occasionally checked his phone.

Being the office 'make him do all the extra work' guy didn't really faze the boogeyman much- if anything, it continued to be a way to show off how efficient he was. He didn't dislike doing paperwork, either, quite the opposite. It was a good repetitive, grounding task that just kind of… let his mind drift. One's mind didn't always need to be thinking of something and tiring itself out. Not that Damon got tired often, or would even really admit to being tired even when he was genuinely feeling it. He had a certain untouchable image to keep.

It was mostly true, the majority of the time, and that was what counted.

When Charlie showed up, though, Damon immediately raised his eyebrows. His coworker had definitely pulled something, the nightmare could tell. Not that Charlie wasn't usually prone to smirking a lot and being chipper (and it wasn't as though you couldn't always say 'I think Charlie did something' and be right, as that was his thing), but when it had that special edge to it, well. Damon found it hard to miss- after all of his own shenanigans, he was pretty damn familiar with the 'very ready to gloat and laugh' stage of things.

Damon shuffled papers off of him and onto his desk, before getting up, first opening the blinds of his office (he had one of the actual room ones, not just a desk and nothing else, that could look out nicely over the sad desk only folk) so he could see whatever was going to soon go down. He glanced at the clock on the wall, and made a guess that it was probably going to be food related. Then, he gave a slow sigh that settled in a laugh, and came back over to lean on his desk and smile at Charlie.

"Hiya. Sorry, had to open up my view to the stage, 'cause I get the feeling you're putting on a show." He grinned. "Haha, that was so cheesy. It's goin' fine! Better now with you visiting." Ah, he was shameless.

This was the routine whenever Charlie pulled a prank. He would set it up, go to Damon's office, Damon would open the blinds, and they would watch the chaos. People were bringing their lunches to their desk. Quite a few people were making sure to get their food before the nightmare cop got a hold of them. He did have a tendency to eat others' lunches, didn't he? However, those people would be in for a spicy surprise. The fedora-wearing man figured out how to sneak the wasabi into each person's lunch.

After a number of people took their first bites, the chaos begun. There were folks bolting for the nearest water source, people dropping their lunches and waving their hands in front of their mouths, and distinct cries of "FUCK FUCK HOT HOT". The green-haired analyst cackled from the sight. It wouldn't take much brain power to figure out just who pulled this prank. He glanced at his best friend and fellow officer. The smirk rivaled the Cheshire Cat smile.

"I got bored, so I added wasabi to everyone's lunches."

He was glad to bring the entertainment, and Damon's office served as the perfect stage.

"I would visit either way, but I wanted to give you a proper show while I was at it!"

Even though he already hit his prank quota for the day, he was already contemplating what he would do now that he pulled off the wasabi trick.
